We only did the show and no food or champagne so we ended up being seated in the very last row. This was fine as we still had a great vantage point for the show. Some people might call the story line and the choreography corny but I like that it's a bit of a nod to the past. The acrobatics impressed me. I like to watch that kind of thing (and we have a lot here in Vegas) and I saw some stuff I've never seen so I was in awe. The ice skating was wonderful as well. Well...when in Paris... This one is a difficult review to write. Cabaret shows are a "thing" in Paris. Touristy, I'd say. Although you'll find some French people coming to Paris for the first time, or Parisians taking visiting friends / business partners from out of town. Let's get down to it. The Lido is as cosmopolitan place. Probably one of the few places where the staff will gladly speak English (or any other language for that matter). We got the dinner / spectacle combo. Dinner was more on the weak side: small portions, not exactly the exquisite French cuisine you'd expect for the price. The show, they say, is prepared with the help of one of the producers of Cirque du Soleil. Shame on me for taking that into consideration when choosing the Lido. It is "average" to be polite. But it's French Cabaret, "Lido", at Champs Élysée. So put on your best suit, and bring the wifey to this authentic Parisian experience. Make sure to come early, 19h sharp, so you can be seated at the best places at the table. If you can book a group of 4 or 6 people, do it. You'll have a table for yourselves. If not, prepare to share a table to distinguished strangers. In our case, two ill-mannered French girls who weren't capable of saying hi. So of course when in Paris you have to go see a cabaret. However we were not really feeling the 100€ - 150€ price per person for the Moulin Rouge. Le Lido was a bit better online but still 80€ + depending on the show time. However, thanks to Trip Advisor we totally got a great hookup for Le Lido tickets. There is a discount ticket booth located at 15 place de la Madeleine where you can get discounted tickets to Le Lido and other popular shows/attractions. We went to the ticket booth and were able to score tickets for the 11pm show at Le Lido for 58€ total per person including drinks! Supposedly the Crazy Horse is the most risqué of the cabarets so I was not really expecting too much from Le Lido but I have to say I was (pleasantly) surprised at the amount of skin showed at Le Lido. The dancers are absolutely stunning and pretty much the entire time their tits are out. There were some young boys in the front row with their mouths open the entire time, pure comedy! Not sure if their parents knew but this is definitely not a PG show and not appropriate for kids. Even better was that drinks were included so they gave us a couple of bottles of champagne and let me sub my champs out for vodka redbull. SCORE BIG TIME! The show is a bit cheesy but very enjoyable. The lead singer had an incredible voice and again the dancers are gorgeous especially the lead dancer. For less than €60 a person this was an incredible value and a great way to spend 3 hours in Paris. No pics allowed unfortunately but I should have snuck some as this was an amazing show. read more

To begin with you can book just the show or the dinner and the show, Then you can choose between the the lunch, the 7pm dinner with the 9-11 show, or the late 11 pm show. The range among these options can take from 75 Euro to 300 Euros per person. If you choose the dinner there are additional options like the Sioree Plume 130 Euros, Soiree Etoile 170 Euro or the Soiree Champs-Elysees 195 Euros. They are all 3 course dinners. Personally, i do not appreciate champagne and although the chicken dinner was alright, I have had better for far less cost. At the upper end you get a bottle of wine but I like beer.Drinks needless to say a pricey if bought separately from the package you choose. The seat separation is better than the Moulin Rouge. The Lido is also in a much better section than the Moulin Rouge.There is pre-show entertainment. Filming is not allowed. If you book online you can cancel 24 hours before your booked show. The shows which run about 2 hours start at 9 pm. and run to 11 pm. If you take the show and dinner package the dinner is at 7 pm. It's a variety performance with cabaret dancing, mime, juggling, trapeze act, singing, and of course show girls. The singing was exceptional.. There is some breast nudity but never felt tacky. The mechanical stage keeps the action going none-stop. The set designs are beautiful with a deep stage.There ia a WoW factor to the production.. There is an actual story line to the show which was written and directed by Franco Dragone. The theme is a tribute to the City of Lights. So put on your evening best and head out to the Lido but do not buy the $25 photo and if you can go without a jacket you can avoid the mandatory coat checking. Woah! Le Lido is the place to visit for nightlife in Paris! The theater is located conveniently on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. My family and I watched our first cabaret show "Paris Merveilles" at the venue and had a blast! My 85-year-old Chinese grandmother really enjoyed the show and she was impressed by all the performances! Our table included sparkling wine and some pop. The sparkling wine was incredibly tasty and paired so well with watching the show! My only complaint is that our table seats were near the far end and the chairs were situated in a very uncomfortable position. I had to turn my head sideways for the entire show and went home with a stiff neck. The tickets were really expensive (more expensive than a Broadway show in New York City) and I really expected better or more comfortable seating. I would have enjoyed the show so much better if my body didn't have to stay sideways for two hours. The storyline is also a bit weird and not really a story, but more like chunks and pieces that didn't really follow. We were not allowed to record or take pictures during the performances, which was a huge bummer. Oh gosh: coming here for a Cabaret show was precisely what I expected: showgirls, acrobatics, style, music, a mime and more! I loved the stage and how it changed mechanically (I had the same fascination with the Jubilee showgirls show in Las Vegas to be honest -- the stages at these venues are SO AWESOME!). The athleticism and beauty of these shows cannot be beat. This show had the best mime we saw in France (and it wasn't the only mime we saw). There was also great figure skating moves, an insane chandelier, water, sword swallowing, and more! We came for discounted champagne service tickets (I had orange juice as I don't like champagne) as we had had a huge lunch earlier in the day and it was the right decision overall. Our tickets were front row and we had a great vantage point for all that happened on stage. We were early enough that we caught some of the pre-show entertainment. My friend was disappointed that there wasn't more scantily clad men on stage but this is a showgirls show (or a cabaret show) so I didn't expect anything different. Very well done. read more

As I found myself wandering along the ever touristy Champs-Élysées, I ended up taking a chance on a show that was described to me as Barry Manilow meets Cirque Du Soleil (sans Manilow) by a local friend, who eventually recanted his answer and called the show "indescribable entertainment." He was right. For all of the locals and curious tourists, I present "Le Lido." In reality, the show is a burlesque / cabaret show full of lots of singing and dancing, beautiful costumes, incredible stage decor, acrobatics, and gratuitous nudity (#1). It was bright, convivial, and the theater was undeniably ritzy. The choreography was fun, the action was non-stop, and the songs were nice despite my inability to understand anything that was said. Be sure to go in a group, take advantage of all of the freebies that come with the ticket packages (champagne, cheese, macarons, etc.) and dress relatively well. Much of the staff did their thing without much of a smile and the crowd was your usual locals and Japanese businessmen, many of whom were probably tricked into going when they were expecting another kind of adult entertainment (#2). This is something I'd do again. I'd probably spend some extra cash to sample more food from their menu, which I'm told is fantastic. The bad: the price/value ratio, the seats (I paid the top price for the dinner/show which supposedly included preferred seating, and we ended up right in front of people who paid half our price the champagne package only), the food quality (effectively priced at 130 Euros/head) was worth less than half that, and the service was weak. Advice: Do not do the dinner/show package. Do the champagne/show package only, the seating different can be next-to-nothing and you won't get stuck paying for overpriced food with bad service in a city where great food abounds. Advice: Do not invest your money in anything premium off the price list, buy the cheapest level possible and bribe your way with 20 Euros into 1-2 classes higher. The show exceeded my expectations (especially after being disappointed by Crazy Horse). The performances were mesmerizing; I particularly enjoyed the acrobatic acts & figure skating - although the mime act felt a little odd & out of place. The woman who did the singing was also phenomenal - she had a better voice than most of the singers on the radio right now. The stage scenery was beautiful and really told a story, while the establishment in general was decorated in a decadent manner that made it seem like we stepped back in time to a glitzier era. We got the cheapest seats available at the back of the theater & I had no regrets when I arrived because there is truly no bad seat in the house. Although there is some nudity (topless dancers), it was supremely tasteful. The women are real artists and athletes. At no point did it feel tacky - I would have felt comfortable going with a significant other or family member (although I went with a female friend who like me is in her mid-20s). The only negative aspect I found was that they make you check your coat (no exceptions). I had recently gotten out of the hospital & wore a fur coat to hide a surgical scar on my neck & was disappointed they would not let me go in with my coat. I also found it a tad chilly without my coat. I'm sure this rule is for understandable security reasons but come on Lido - put some respek on a girl's outfit! read more

What can I say, but the costumes were glorious, the women beautiful, the dancing great and the atmosphere fun, but it is definitely over-priced. The juggler and singer were ok, the illutionist was funny and the gymnast on the silk curtain was very cool. We had a fun evening, but would have hoped for a more Paris "great-night-on-th-town" atmosphere. The waiters were bad and kept getting in the way of seeing the show. The Lido Cabaret was great. Previously, I have seen the Crazy Horse Cabaret and wanted to try something new. We were in Paris for a Bachelorette trip and thought this would be fitting. The show came with a bottle of Champagne. We fully enjoyed the experience. The show featured dancing, singing, ice skating (they were terrific), sword swallowing, clowns, acrobatics, and a good mix of men and women participating in the show. The best was to describe it would be Cirque Du Soleil meets The Rockettes. We also stayed for a bit after the first show to finish our champagne at the bar. Came here on my last night in Paris and it was a great way to end my trip here. I enjoyed the dinner portion and the live band before the start of the show. A lot of people ended up dancing on stage. As for the show itself, it has a great mix of acrobatics, ballet, freestyle and of course cabaret. The water and ice effects were spectacular and unexpectated. This is a very entertaining and beautiful show. We had great table in the center. Food was mediocre. But show.... Beautiful stage with constantly changing scenes on a very deep stage - from fountains to the ice ring and huge cristal chandeliers. Some showgirls were topless but very tasteful. So very disappointed. The show itself was good. The service horrific! Our ticket included champagne with optional dinner. Posted below is our champagne. My small glass was dumped when someone bumped into our obstructed view table, ( they did offer seats at a shared table closer, we declined). This was before the show started at about 850. No server came to the table at all for a dinner order and we could not flag down anyone for 30 min. I asked for more champagne and it never came, 15 more mInutes, another request and nothing. Other tabLes were getting dinner and plates being taken away. Finally third ask at 10pm. Champagne was delivered, immediately followed by the check and then the finally of the showI complained and the server said he didn't kNow what to, I do! Don't charge me for spilled champagne and provide service. So upset! I'm also diabetic and counted on having a meal. Shame on you Lido sTaff. I canny even understand how this could happen ! Updating to add plenty of people in jeans and sneakerss. Dress code not enforced. Due to strikes we could d not get back to our hotel to change and we purchased dress pants and shoes. But WARNING, you have to be seated close to the stage, tables are below the stage so you can't see a good show because all heads in front of you are blocking the view. I paid 165 euros per person for this show. Also waitress come only at the beginning and they disappear the rest of the show leaving the bottles of champagnes without opening all the show. The snack was never served. Don't let them sit you like a Sardina. There are seats very few feet behind at the same level of the stage that are cheaper and the show will look thousand times better. If you are tourist, book it yourself and you will enjoy the show. BTW if you've been in Cuba in Copacabana, don't go here, waisting money unless you want to see topples girls. read more

Someone else nailed it in their review...this place is essentially a mix of Cirque de Soleil + cabaret show + ballet with nudity. I was in Paris for a family event, and we had a big group of us attending the show one evening (no dinner, just the show). I am not a show kind of guy. Maybe this is why I found the performance to be extremely underwhelming. I could have given this place a 3, but the seats in the upper level were extremely uncomfortable. They had booths where you are at a 90 degree angle to the stage....so if you want to watch the show while sitting, you have to stretch your neck to watch. Very uncomfortable. I have never been to the Moulin Rogue, but if it's anything like this I would probably skip that one too. If you love shows, then check it out. Otherwise, avoid it - way overpriced and you can probably find a better use of your time and money in a city like Paris. read more

Fantastic show! We arrived early for the 9pm right about 8pm with balcony tickets. We were first so we sat front and center. The people on the main floor were still in their meal, but we were in our own world. The cost difference for skipping the meal and sitting in the balcony was magnified by the perfect viewing of the show. We ordered pricy drinks that were okay, but back to the show... I just saw this show last night and it was great. We did the champagne package as i heard the food wasn't so good. At first we had horrible seats that we had to share with other people, so my boyfriend tipped the hostess 20euros to get a booth by ourselves. Totally worth the extra $. Made it more romantic and the view was perfect. Wine and champagne were very good. Show dancers were great with costume and set changes. Clowns was the best at getting the whole audience to help with his performance. Illusionist was also awesome. Rope ariel performer was ok. I've seen better at cirque du soliel shows, but the ice skaters were simply amazing!!! All the female dancers were natural. No silicone. I wish all the dancers were topless. It would've made it more uniform verses little bits of dancers that were topless intermingled with non-topless. The men were also great dancers. Definitely worth seeing and don't be judgmental. Just enjoy the show. 1 tip- do not go shopping before seeing this show. They charge you 2 euros for each coat and bag check-in. And it's mandatory for you to check-in all your stuff. read more

Le LIDO is a fabulous place to spend an evening in Paris. This is my second time and always enjoyed very much. The show was absolutely fabulous. The dancers were fantastic with beautiful costumes, all of the performers from magicians, acrobats and ice skaters did an excellent job. Location on the Champs Elysees is perfect. The hotel pre booked our tickets. Our table had a great view of the stage. Tables are for 6 therefore we share our table with 4 other people. We got there at 9:29pm and the show started at 9:30pm until 11:30pm - there was not a single minute without a performance. We had the Champagne package which was very good. Ultimately, it was a visually spectacular show ,but short on talent. Lead singer was mediocre (and everything else was pre-recorded) , choreography was simplistic and repetitive, and dancers were not in unison. A very nice Show I was expecting more from the ambience. It was a bit dirty looking at the ceiling, you have to queue like at post office to enter and the place need to refurbish a bit because looks like 70s fashion and old (nothing historical a pity for a famous place like that). In revenge the Show was a nice surprise, very Beautiful with Fantasy. Quite disappointed about restaurant, poor food (for the money paid) and annoying waiters service specially on collecting money during the show. This place is very sexist in attitude. We came with a tour group to see the show and after paying almost $200 USD each my husband was kicked out for having shorts on. That would have been fine because we didn't know about the no shorts rule. Our complaint is that there were 2 people in our group in shorts. My husband in dress shorts and a young woman in very short shorts.... she got to go in, he did not. I did not stay either, because I would not be able to enjoy an evening out while my husband sat back at the hotel alone. Very poor use of rules! read more

It has already been some years ago since my visit to Lido, but it's definitely a night I will not forget. This is absolutely a great spot to enjoy an evening of unbelievable entertainment, good food and, ofcourse, champaign. I was really impressed by the show. There are absolutely great performers on the forever changing stage which goes from acrobats to dancers. The food was really good, but as expected at such a location it is not the finest you will get in Paris. But the combination of good company, food, champaign and a great show made it a great experience Absolutely a night out I can recommend and I will be back with my girlfriend for sure ;-) 4/5 food 5/5 entertainment 4/5 overall read more

This is where I spent the evening of my 30th birthday. My friend and I knew we wanted to experience a cabaret while we were in Paris and this seemed to have the best reviews. It was definitely an interesting experience! One of my favorite moments were when the dinner band sang me "Happy Birthday" in French while the staff presented me with a chocolate cake that had what looked like a Roman candle in it. One of the tastiest cakes I have ever had. The rest of the food was alright. The menu is preset and determined by how much you want to spend. We did get a bottle of champagne with dinner which was nice. There is a photographer who takes souvenir photos throughout dinner. The amount of pictures she takes is quite excessive, but the options are nice. The photos are expensive (20 euros each), but we purchased one because they came out very nice. The show itself was kind of crazy. I don't think I had any expectations, but I was certainly entertained. You get everything from singing and dancing, to horses, ice skating, comedy, and juggling. My friend and I went to Lido for a night out because it was recommended by our guide book and got better yelp reviews than the moulin rouge. That said, it was not worth the 90 euros we paid for the two hour show, and the best part of our entire night was 5 minutes of ice dancing. The lead singer was terrible, and she was the only performer who sang the entire night. We assumed that certain performers were hired merely to show off their slim figures and bare breasts, because the choreography was very limited, and not that impressive.
