I visited Paris last month and this was one of the shows I went to see. This was nothing but pure, nonstop entertainment. I definitely felt the Parisian culture here. Some of the people who were on the trip with me didn't appreciate it as much as they came from all walks of the world and the nudity wasn't their thing. But with all the nudity aside, the showmanship and professionalism was top notch. I highly recommend this to all of my friends. Let's set things straight : the show is fantastic, the rest not so much. Context : Sat. 05/08/2017 a "diner plume" for 3 persons + 1/2 champ = €440. I'll review the Customer Service (1), the Diner (2) then the Show (3). I - Customer Service 1. We got the worst possible table, at the extreme angle, despite our expensive menu. 2. The manager refused twice, with the usual Parisian delicacy, to change our table : a. First, when we complained that the table sucked. b. Second, when we complained that we were freezing since we were right under the AC. c. Finally, the manager proposed us a table worse than the one we had, arguing that if we wanted to move, we would be either downgraded or we'd have to pay more to get a better table. Customer Service conclusion : Really not up to the Lido's reputation. Such a non-caring staff for such an expensive place is unacceptable. II - Diner Not that much to say. It's barely good, as other reviews have already extensively covered. I'd advise to go have diner elsewhere if only the place you were given wasn't in function of the price you pay. I went to the closest McDonalds afterwards to enjoy a true meal. III - Show We experienced the Lido's new show. Some moments were incredible, others with nothing that special. Generally speaking, it's what a tourist expects from the Parisian cabaret's exuberance. I also have to highlight the modernization of the show, with a lot of new sequences and more modern stuff (ice skatting, etc.) Conclusion : I'm disappointed. Although the show was enjoyable, our experience as customers was really extremely poor, especially due to the AC and the customer service. I wouldn't recommend going there. Try the Crazy Horse or the Moulin Rouge maybe. read more

Amazing show! Very enjoyable though it is pricey. You must ask for a better seat the minute you are seated. If recommend the half bottle champagne per person and maybe go on a weeknight. Also, best to get there at least 30 minutes early to queue as tables are not reserved. The show itself is great! What they can do with the stage is impressive and some parts were just INCREDIBLE! read more

Random.... Call it french randomness... Not sure. There was no theme through the entire performance. I laugh light heatedly because I have no other way to respond. The costume were good although I didn't understand why some women were topless and why some weren't. There was quite some out of sync dancing. The background music a notch better than elevator music. The singing was good. Some parts were good like the side comedy performances and the ice skating in a mini stage but overall I left the show feeling like I would not want to watch the show again. I would give a single star for the food, which was really bad. I was charged 185€ for a menu i purchased online three weeks prior, but the menu was marked at 165€ the night of. The staff explanation when I asked why it was different was because it was more expensive When i purchased the ticket and they lowered the price the day of. But they would not reimburse me the difference. I'm sure this was done to compensate for low ticket sales. Either way, this could have been easily avoided had they not printed the price on The menu. For all four tickets purchased, at 185€ per ticket+menu, i ended up paying 80€ OVER the listed price for food that was frankly subpar. I would give four stars for the show which was just beautiful. I advise you to have dinner somewhere else and just go to The Lido for the show. read more

The show was good. Had some really great parts. More nudity than I thought necessary, but, this is Paris. We went just for the show, dinner elsewhere. I mistakenly assumed the menu on the table was for the drinks. My date ordered a martini, and I ordered a piña colada. The server brought out 2 of each. When I asked why there were 2, he said "you get 2." Ok, I guess. Well, in the menu, the piña colada was 18 euros. They brought the bill and it was 230 euros. When I tried to ask why, the waiter got annoyed with me. Said you were required to have 2 drinks with the show and they are 115 euros apiece. When I mentioned the drink menu, he said that was only dinner prices. Does not apply to the show. Nowhere did we see this policy written, nor was it explained. We went. We saw. I have been in Le Lido last year. The show is really great, dancers- super, atmosphere also very good, but it's overpriced.

Magnifique! Came here a few years ago for a cabaret show when i visited Paris. It was a great experience watching the performers at the Lido while sipping on champagne. Great costumes, great crowd. Probably a bit pricy, but I would recommend it anyway. read more

I was totally ripped off! Do not go there! I paid a lot of money for "balcony seats" and was put in the back row. I was upset about the seats and asked about our "balcony seats" I had booked (months and months ago) - they then said we had to pay an additional 80euro per seat to be upgraded to the balcony - which is so crazy- because the tickets were already so, so expensive- and were in "the balcony" in the first place- but I paid it because I was taking my husband as a gift - and we couldn't see anything from the back row and I was embarrassed and wanted him to feel special.....It's a total joke. And the guy I was speaking with - agreed. This place is a terrible place that takes advantage of people. I'm disgusted and will never recommend it to anyone. Disgraceful. read more

We wanted to see a cabaret as part of our Parisien experience and had a great time at Le Lido for the late show. We opted for the champagne package that included half a bottle (~115 Euros versus 95 which only included one glass of champagne) and provided us with our own booth on the second tier above the stage. The show is magnificent with talented dancers, acrobats, mimes/clowns and a singer who blew it out of the water. The false stage provided nice changes between acts from the water stage for the sword act to the ice rink for the skaters. The show is a lot longer than I expected which made it kind of drag towards the end (it also could've been the combination of trekking through Paris all day in the heat and then being at the 11PM show). The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the tremendously long wait we had prior to getting in. We had our tickets in advance and one of the gentlemen at the entrance said to come back to the front with our tickets... when we did, he told us to get in the line that had formed. This resulted in us losing our original place and getting put further back in line than we were before!! After this initial hiccup, the tickets also said to come in good attire (no shorts, trainers, etc.). There were TONS of underdressed people - makes me wonder how dressed up you should be! Other than these few things, our overall experience was good and we are happy to have put a trip to Le Lido in the books! read more

I was hesitant when the wife suggested we go to a cabaret while in Paris. It all seemed cheesy and old fashioned, well I was clearly horribly mistaken. From the moment they raised the floor to allow real ice skating and eventually to suspend dancers from a chandelier I knew this was not an old timey line dance. The amazing strength and balance of one of the acts brought simultaneous boughs of silence and uproarious applause. The acts were widely varied and each more incredible than the last. They even featured a powerful singer for many of the performances. The sets as lighting effects were astonishing and gorgeous. I highly recommend this to any and all comers, the nudity is just in keeping with tradition and accents the show never at the forefront. We opted for the balcony sets, a lil bit cheaper but we had just eaten and did not require the mean served on the main floor. Great atmosphere and the height added a lil something for the show. While experience goes well with Champaign. read more

My rating is admittedly biased considering we had just seen Feerie at Moulin Rouge the night before and it was absolutely fantastic. Lido seemed like it was capitalizing on location being much more conveniently located on the Champs Elysees but seemed as it hired all the dancers that didn't make the cut for Feerie. It is my first night in Paris and i wasn't expecting much but thought a cabaret show at Lido would be fun but it seems like even my bland expectations were too high. To be concise; -The music was both old and outdated. outdated in the sense that you would not find any of it no matter how hard you tried and old in the sense that it had that faint dreary static noise one would hear with a record played once too often. -The sound system was annoying at best. When an actor or actress sang (and I call them actors and actresses instead of performers because a performer has a well adjusted singing voice) the distortion was audible whenever the music was able to waft it's way to the rear. -The choreographer would have had better luck getting everyone to do their own thing because next to none of them were on cue. -The comedy was nothing short of absolutely creepy. -The help was unorganized. -The entire show was late in beginning. -The washroom did not have toilet paper but instead had fecal matter sprayed in a number of places. And finally after a mere 20 minutes my companion and I went to the concierge requesting to pay for our bottle of wine but be reimbursed for the money we were charged. We were refused. In a show that lasts an hour and a half 20 minutes is well within reason to opt out and ask for a refund for a show that does not deliver all it claims to. In the end there were more table than I could count whom were more interested in ignoring the show and giving their attention to a "rousing" game of 'Bejeweled' on their phone or worse, laying their head down and taking a nap waiting for the torture to be over. My companion and I paid 200 EUROS for this show (we opted out to pay an additional 100 euro to have the luxury of 4 biscoties cookies) but the price was much greater after suffering through a failed attempt at the equivalent of a grade school musical. We wanted to go to moulin rouge but of course did not plan accordingly and it was full.. However Lido we were able to book the day of.. Should have been first red flag.. It was 160€ for a very basic dinner.. The service was decent, however we wanted to upgrade our small bottle of champagne to a full bottle and they would not do that.. I will tell you the audio quality is not very good... Especially with the dinner music. Could not understand a word the singer was saying.. The show has very cool costumes and props but the dancing is something like I would do when I was 5.. Nobody is in sync and the dance moves are very basic and boring... Plus the seats are extremely uncomfortable and they cram you in! If you want to watch a show I would suggest skipping the dinner and going somewhere else to save some money since the dancing does not start until after you have finished dinner and everybody else for the champagne only show gets to their seats.. read more
