I did learn that no matter what agency you talk to they all have a quota of how many hours they will be there for no matter how long you need them.. Cherish and Natalie, who runs things worked with us on that and helped us. The companion they sent for my mother was and is an angel. We ended up discontinuing the service for a while because we don't have insurance for it and we were going to move my mother to the assisted side where she would receive medication from nurses which was less expensive, but she will not have a companion.
