This space is absolutely beautiful. It is a great place to come for a cocktail and relax and chat with friends after a long day or on the weekend and enjoy the view sitting outside on the patio. I had the opportunity to meet chef Damien Lopez. He had a great presentation for all his food and it was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the desserts. He made an amazing chocolate cupcake, and a raspberry cake definitely visit this place your next time in Fort Worth. This was a complementary experience through a yelp event, but definitely needed to give the chef a shout out.

AVOID Le Méridien Fort Worth and their poor valet company
    Valerie H.

BEWARE. Atrocious. Hosted a business meeting here, bringing them roughly 30 rooms for multiple nights, plus the conference facility fees and F&B. This hotel does not allow on-site self parking; you are forced to allow the valet to take your vehicle unless you want to chance public parking a couple blocks away. Valet caused $6K in damage and refused any responsibility - even after seeing photos of the undamaged vehicle they took possession of upon check-in. Hotel blamed the 3rd-party valet vendor and refused to take any responsibility. Both suggested my insurance company should Just pay up. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Book literally anything else.

The stay was great! The property is just incredible. Very modern. The room and bed were comfortable. The staff was super friendly. I would stay here again for sure! What I wouldn't do is valet park a car. I had a very early flight out of DFW the last morning of my stay. I was assured the valet would be there at 4am. He was not. After 10 minutes of looking, the front desk associate found him. Just stress I didn't need.

The quote on the ceiling in the elevator in the way to Annex penthouse

The location was prime, the valet service worked well. The hotel staff was amazing. The elevator system was state of the art and innovative. The newly renovated room was pretty, decorated nicely, the bed comfortable and the high city view quickly made up for no balconies. The price was right! The pool stayed true to Sunday Funday with a DJ, drinks and convenient room service. Annex rooftop was a vibe but not enough individual chairs for couples to not take up a whole couch. 10/10 would recommend

Find a different hotel. You can do better. The hotel looks great. It's well kept. The valet boys are super kind. All the people I encountered at the desk were excellent. They have great personalities. The maids really didn't want to work - every day they suggested I didn't want service for the room and I had to keep saying yes, I do. There is a door leading in from 8th. It's always locked. Breakfast was a rip off. I asked for extra crispy bacon, and never got it. I suspect the kitchen staff are simply incompetent. The potatoes were hard, as if fried yesterday, then over microwaved until hard as rocks. Kevin couldn't seem to speak English nor understand English. When I tried to explain what extra crispy bacon mean, he interpreted it as I wanted an extra serving of bacon. When someone came with an extra serving of bacon after I finished breakfast, I told them I didn't order an extra serving of bacon. But they billed me for it anyway. Total ripoff for a breakfast. They don't fill any of the waterglasses. I don't think they know what waterglasses are for. They don't fill them and don't ask. They don't serve utensils unless you ask. Find a different hotel. You can do much better.

My review is for the rooftop bar The Annex. I'm a local and saw photos from the rooftop and needed it try it out. The space is gorgeous and is cozy inside and out. Went around 5pm on a Friday and it wasn't super busy yet which was nice. Bartender Tiffany was super friendly and attentive!! The outside view was as good as the photos - the only improvement is that they could add heaters so it was versatile during the colder nights. Overall, gorgeous and good drinks. Will be back!

I've been going on 52 solo dates this year, so Friday night, I chose The Annex at Le Méridien for my excursion. It has the loveliest downtown view, a cozy indoor and outdoor space, a fantastic menu, and amazing waitstaff.

    These two ladies were rude.

I have to stay in hotels a lot for work and I was really just disappointed by this hotel. First off…read moretheir parking garage in on a huge incline so watch out for your car when you pull in. Then you have to lug your bags up stairs to even get to the front desk which like isn't usually a big deal, but then they sent back out to get the license plates number. I had a company vehicle so it's not like it's my own that I would know off the top of my head. Then they give you a pass that you have to go back out and hang... not to mention the front desk staff was very rude about the whole thing . I had already been back out to my vehicle and they didn't even mention like hey make sure you grab the license plate number because we need it. The day I arrived was 103 and my thermostat would not adjust. On top of that they make it look like they put water in your room but no jk it's $3. All their water fountains were broken.. when did tap water become a hotel luxury??? That's really just not acceptable in Texas in 103 degree weather you should be embarrassed. Next the rooms office space has absolutely no electrical outlets to plug in your devices and they weirdly charge for wifi. Again do you know the standard at like a holiday in or best western ??? Why are you charging for wifi? I was really turned off by the customer service and the whole hotel, it felt like a pig in a dress, stay somewhere else.

Pillows go completely flat after a few minutes & there is only 3 on the bed , the mattress wasn't the greatest either. water pressure was no. existent when taking a shower it only worked with the hot water on full blast! Will not stay at this location again and disappointed in our stay is an understatement.

Except they're greedy and want to screw people who have to go to the hospital or business nearby. The hotel: it's pretty clean. Parking isn't a big deal but they have a parking garage adjacent to the hotel. It said parking was free on the 3rd and 4th floor but I didn't get a chance to see if that was true. I sadly have the blue placard of hurt. So yeah, they even charge for handicapped spaces. Legal? Don't know honestly. Ethical? No freaking way. My room was clean. Nice and pretty consistent for a garden inn. Allowed you to control the fan speed and make it constant. Which was a nice surprise. The gym was the shocker. They had one ty of equipment to get in a quick workout. Not typical for Hiltons. But I'll take it. Would I stay here again? Hell. No. 15 bucks for parking without any warning. Just a surprise bill charge. I travel a lot and i'd rather stay at a Marriott property that doesn't take blatant advantage of people going to the nearby hospital. But here are some photos anyway.

Excellent bfast on the 7th floor including made to order omelettes by the chef. Nice selection of fresh fruit and usual full bfast items. You can sit inside or outside in the terrace. I wish the weekday bfast ended a bit later 9:30am instead of 9am. At the lobby there is a coffee shop where you can also pick up salads, fruit and jello cups and juices. 3 elevators mean not much waiting to get to your room. Parking is by valet, a bit expensive at $60, but the valets are fast. Cheaper parking nearby means you have to deal with hauling luggage. It's a it hard to get to the entrance - look for the E symbol on the parking cones on the street. Water pressure was good with plenty of hot water. 2 air conditioner controls - one in the bedroom and one in the living room meant we could set the temperatures to our liking. There is a small seating area, Starbucks vendor with some snacks, and is connected to a restaurant. Checking into the room was very quick too. The fitness center is very nice with a variety of cardio machines (and a Peloton!), weight rack, and cable machine. There are also yoga mats, water, and towels available inside. The buffet breakfast was very good too. They had a ton of options and a rotating selection of foods. There is also a chef available to prepare omelettes, breakfast bowls, pancakes, bacon, and a bunch of other things! The rooms are very spacious. I do like that the bedroom is completely separated from the living area. There are TVs in both spaces and it's pretty sound proof between the two. In the living area, there is a large desk and chair, couch, padded chair, sink, mini fridge, and microwave. Our room has two queen beds which were comfortable. The comforters were a little thin but nothing intolerable. The AC units were easy to use and adjusted to temperature changes quickly. I was happy to find some extra pillows in the wardrobe. The only strange thing about the room setup that I wasn't fond of was the bathroom sink. The sink was inside of the bedroom instead of the bathroom itself. You couldn't really do anything at the sink without disturbing someone who is sleeping since the lights shine directly at the bed. I was a bit disappointed with the parking situation. It is valet only. It is a little difficult to get situated with the parking since the valet location is on a one-way street. If you're using GPS to get there, you may need to spin the block a few times to get on the right side of the hotel. I did like, however, that the valet service provided a card where we can virtually request the car to be pulled out whenever we'd like. I would definitely stay here again!

They had us sit in the lobby of the hotel for a few minutes while they finished setting up the tables, which was a little odd. Eventually, we were all called up by individual parties and seated. There was only one server, so things moved very slowly, although she was hustling as much as she could. The food was hit or miss, but I did appreciate that they could accommodate with vegetarian options, even if they weren't all particularly excellent. You are served one small pot of tea each and expected to make that last through the entire event. I thought this was especially stingy and was very disappointed that they did not refill your pot. The ambience was also just okay. We were all kept in close quarters, which meant that the loud party next to us was pretty disruptive. I wish that they had spaced out all out a little more to give everyone some room. Overall, I think the price is too high for the quality of the experience. As someone who has done high tea across the globe, the Ashton's ranks pretty low on my list. For the cost per person, I was expecting a little more of a luxe experience.

Unfortunately, while the property itself is beautiful, my overall experience was deeply disappointing. Check-in started on a positive note. I was greeted with a glass of champagne and the front desk staff were warm and welcoming. However, things quickly went downhill from there. I was never provided a welcome letter outlining my Fine Hotels + Resorts benefits or basic hotel information. I didn't realize this until I reached my room and wanted to use some of the amenities. When I returned to the front desk to request one, I was told none were available and was directed to scan a QR code instead. The QR code only linked to the in-room dining menu and restaurant reservation pages, which was not a substitute for the information typically provided with an FHR stay. Upon arrival at my room, the staff member assisting with my luggage repeatedly called me by the wrong last name and made multiple comments about my ethnicity, including saying my name sounded Indian but that I "didn't look Indian," followed by personal questions about my background. While I believe the intent may have been friendly, it felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. The room and property are undeniably stunning, but several functional issues made the stay frustrating. All of the lights, including those in both bathrooms, appeared to be controlled by motion sensors or timers that could not be adjusted. While getting ready, the lights repeatedly turned off, forcing me to stop styling my hair and walk around the room just to trigger the sensors. This became extremely disruptive and inconvenient. Additionally, the main desk in the living room, which was the primary power source in the suite, did not work at all. After attempting to troubleshoot myself, it appeared to be broken entirely. Because this was one of the only areas with multiple outlets, I had to charge devices in random locations throughout the room. Communication with the hotel was also extremely difficult. The in-room phone repeatedly lost connectivity and died while I was attempting to place orders. I texted the hotel to report the issue, yet staff continued trying to call the malfunctioning room phone instead of my cell phone, despite me explaining the situation multiple times. Calling the hotel directly from my mobile phone often resulted in busy signals. The most frustrating part occurred after checkout. I was incorrectly charged nearly the full nightly rate despite having prepaid through American Express. When I called to resolve this, I was placed on hold for nearly 35 minutes after being told it would be brief, and no apology was offered. Although I was told the charge would be reimbursed, the refund was incomplete because my American Express breakfast and amenity credits were not properly applied. I had to call again to request an additional correction. Across their website form and multiple phone calls, I was never initially provided a folio detailing my charges. It wasn't until the third call that I spoke with Sarah, who was exceptionally helpful. She went out of her way to email me a PDF folio and personally coordinate the remaining reimbursement. She was the only team member who truly resolved the situation, and I greatly appreciated her professionalism. This was my first visit to Texas, which I noted in my reservation, and I had hoped for recommendations or guidance from the hotel, especially given the Fine Hotels + Resorts experience, but none were offered. It's genuinely disappointing because the Crescent is a beautiful property with so much potential. However, between the service issues, operational problems, billing errors, and lack of follow-through, this was easily my worst Fine Hotels + Resorts experience to date. Considering the price point and expectations associated with this program, the experience ultimately felt frustrating and not reflective of luxury hospitality standards. I truly wish I could have loved this stay.
