The biggest plus was how convenient the location was since it's literally across the street from the Fort Worth Convention Center. Staying here for the weekend was a TREAT!! The place was well kept and our bed was luxuriously soft and clean. We stayed on the 12th floor, so we enjoyed a nice view too. I had no issues with getting hot water for a shower - it was just as fast as taking a shower at home! The outdoor heated pool and hot tub on the third floor were so relaxing, especially at night where we could see the stars (granted, there's a lot of light pollution from being in the city). The breeze that cut across was really nice. We spent a lot of time out here and there was only one other person we ran across. We chose street parking, which was easy to find, about a block away, and completely free for the weekend. I'd love to come back again! read more

Came here for a conference. I stood in line to check in for over an hour. I finally get to my room and the door is unlocked. I leave the door propped open and make sure no one was inside. (In this day and age I've seen too much to have just walked in.) Nobody was there, but I felt so uncomfortable! I told the front desk and they only said that it must have been the maids. Ok, fine. I'm setting up my things in the restroom and find an eyelash in the sink! Next morning, while showering, the water sprouted out here and there. They're was so much calcium built up on the shower head. The only nice thing about this stay was the proximity to the conference center. Oh, and sheet cake...it was delicious! read more

I recently stayed at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel for a business trip, and unfortunately my experience was extremely frustrating due to billing issues. My coworkers and I all booked using company credit cards, yet upon check-in we were each required to provide personal cards for incidentals. While that's standard, my personal card was then hit with multiple large pending charges--ranging from hundreds to over $1,000--which was far beyond the stated $150 hold. These charges fluctuated repeatedly and caused unnecessary stress during a work trip. One manager was able to resolve the issue professionally, but another staff member later refused to assist a coworker with the exact same problem and even contradicted the prior resolution. This inconsistency in policy and lack of clear communication made the situation worse. Although the charges were eventually addressed, it took significant time, multiple conversations, and follow-up calls to correct. Even after my stay, I was incorrectly charged again and had difficulty reaching someone to fix it. While some staff members were helpful, the overall experience showed a lack of coordination, training, and accountability--especially concerning billing, which is critical for business travelers. I am so disturbed by what happened to me here today. I managed a large conference over the weekend and I was exhausted and ready to go home. I left my room to check out and an employee said to have a nice trip back home Immediately when I was leaving my room I realized when I was about to check out that I forgot my phone on the bed upstairs so not even a minute later I went right back on the elevator that dropped me off and there was already a tag on my door indicating I check out - which I did not yet. On my way to the room the same guy was walking towards me and asks if I forgot I forgot something, I open the door and my phone is not there. I checked my purse work bag and even my luggage just in case..all within five minutes go back out and see the housekeeping lady and she happily hands me my phone - I was relived but as soon as I step back in my room to grab my stuff again I notice my security locks on my phone have been disabled (both the keypad and face recognition) I went back to the housekeeping lady and she couldn't tell me where she found it... I reported it to the front desk to which they had me write a statement on a blank piece of paper... I took a picture since there wasn't a copy for me. This all happened with ten to fifteen minutes and I am almost positive that if they review the cameras they will see someone go in my room (mind you nothing was done like garbage removed, bed made etc) come back out, me go in and a bad off of the phone to the lady down the hall as I was looking for my phone to be sure I didn't misplace it. I feel disgusted and violated - I did take extra security precautions to make sure there were no new apps added and there's also a security number if you google you will find it's a series of symbols and numbers and will stop any kind of forwarding of information...at least I hope. read more

Sometimes, you happen to be in the right place at the right time. My hubby and I took a trip to Fort Worth this past spring, and we had a room at a local branded hotel. The hotel was fine, nice even, but unfortunately next to a liquor store and vape shop, with unsavory characters hanging around the hotel parking lot. We spent an afternoon walking around Downtown Fort Worth...and walked past the Omni. Now, I am a country girl. I was raised country, and country is what I'll always be. So is it any surprise that I fell in love with the Omni Fort Worth Hotel the moment we stepped in to look around? What an absolutely beautiful hotel. The decor...the architecture...the Texas hospitality...the bar and lounge, Whisky and Rye...my hubby could see I was in love, so he booked us two impromptu nights. The Omni was one of the highlights of our trip, and it made a huge impression on me. The room was gorgeous, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The fitness center was huge, and the pool was beautiful. I had a relaxing night swim in the wind and under the stars. The only downside of the pool area is that the hot tub is difficult to get in and out of because there are no steps -- you have to step over the rim of the hot tub. Not so easy for people with disabilities, like me, but I managed. Valet service was quick, friendly, and efficient. The on-site Starbucks was great for morning cup of joe. The gift shop had Southwestern towels that I bought even though they were very pricey. The greatest thing about the Omni is their luxurious country beauty. Sometimes, you're in the right place at the right time, and you find something great. I'll always remember our stay. read more

Omni Hotels have a very good reputation so I really can't say much against that. The lobby was beautifully decorated and open. I was greeted immediately and checked-in promptly. My room was immaculate. The bathroom was clean, I didn't find any stains on the linen, hair in the bathroom, or dust on the dresser. I was in town for a conference and the convention center was across the street from the Omni. There is a bar, restaurant, billiard's tables, and a Starbucks in the lobby. The hotel is located downtown where you were in walking distance to eateries and stores. A beautiful hotel conveniently located near all local amenities. read more

The hotel has a very large lobby with a fireplace and plenty of seating, including two comfortable sofas. Check-in was quick and easy. We used the Valet Service for parking, and our valet found keys in our vehicle, brought them inside, located us, and returned them to us. Our room was spacious, with a large window that provided natural light. It was super clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. In addition to the king-size bed, there was a large comfy chair with an ottoman in the corner, a large desk, a dresser, and a very nice television. The side of the dresser had a strip of plug-in options, with one for every device! The bathroom was large and spotless, stocked with a hair dryer, sample-size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. The vanity counter and mirror were very large (I loved it!), and the shower was roomy. There was also a coffee station with a Keurig, coffee pods, and tea in the room. Two bottles of water were provided at no cost, with each additional bottle priced at $5. A refrigerator was located below the coffee station inside the cabinet. Also, we found robes, and iron and ironing board inside the closet. There are multiple restaurants, a Starbucks, and a gift shop inside the hotel--a big plus! The "Whiskey Bar" offered live music a few nights a week, and "Bob's Steak & Chophouse" was perfect for our dinner. I have to mention the outstanding service we received from check-in to check-out. We had a small issue with the heater in our room, and within ten minutes, someone from maintenance was there to address it, with two managers checking on the situation and offering to move us to another room. (We stayed and had no further issues.) All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Each time we left or returned, the doors were opened for us, and we were made to feel very welcome. Pros: Check in was a breeze Rooms/bathroom were nice and clean AC was quiet and cool WIFI was solid Cons: Easily the top con was the parking. They offer valet only, there's a public parking area about 1-2 blocks away that is cheaper. Starbucks on site - long long line, but this is expected I would like to rate this hotel higher, but the valet issue really left a sour taste. We waited close to 25 mins for the car when it wasn't that busy. I would prepare extra time if you're in a hurry. read more

The restaurants are really expensive, I had a salad, added chicken and had a glass of wine, that plus tip was $49.00, it was delicious though. I are at Starbucks as much as I could after that. Bed was comfy, hotel was clean throughout. Front desk staff was nice. Parking is $45.00 a day. There are some restaurants in walking distance, no grocery stores in walking distance. Pool was closed when I went but it looked nice. They have a spa on-site. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles are very small, so either bring your own or you'll be asking for extra depending on how many days you stay (you'll have enough for 1 night). No hot water in shower, I notified them twice, nothing was done. But I would return again. read more

We went to the Fort Worth Omni Hotel Christmas lunch/brunch today and left so disappointed. Food quality was sub-par, especially meats like turkey and roast beef. Meat was super fatty or tough and food was lukewarm, bordering on cold. We went at 2 pm and they were already out of meat and many desserts. We've loved going in the past even though it is pricey, and it was a fun tradition, but we will not be going back. read more

I booked a room for my best friend's birthday in March for one night. Room was clean and front desk help was so kind. The next day after we checked out, I noticed I was charged twice. hotel kept telling me it would fall off. well, it didn't, called my card company and they open a claim which they were no help nor was the hotel. they kept arguing how I used my card twice. which when i checked in i handed my card to them to put it on hold for my room. Well fast forward three month still not taken care of. Accounting was terrible, they never would call back or follow up. At the end I found out they used my card to hold a room for a customer I never knew or meet. I believe the mess up happened when i gave them my card they applied to another customer on accident. I was never given a apology. The amount was for $379.00, if it would have been for $30.00 i probably wouldn't have said anything but almost $400 that ridiculous a nice apology would have been kindly accepted. Was recently here for a conference and while there were a few bumps with my check in and room, overall it was a very good experience. I arrived on Tuesday afternoon around 4:20-4:30 pm and my reserved room type - a Classic Deluxe Room with 1 King Bed - was not available. They worked to send someone and see if the room was ready but were unable to confirm that it was unoccupied and had been cleaned, so they asked if I would be okay with a Classic Deluxe Room with 2 Queen Beds. Since I was staying alone, having two beds didn't make as much sense, since it would be twice as many sheet to clean for them and I would only be using one of the beds. They ended up offering me a free upgrade to a Spacious Premier Room with 1 King Bed on the 15th floor plus three in 4 free drink tickets which was so kind! The room had an amazing view of the city skyline. I utilized the valet overnight parking and that came to a cost of $43.30 a night. One thing to keep in mind is that your room rate does not include various taxes and fees. Later on in the week, I noticed that my toilet was leaking and stopped by the front desk around 5:05 pm to let them know. They had someone in my room by 5:35 and the toilet was fixed shortly thereafter. I did visit the gym and while it is a bit limited on weight machines, there was a lot of great cardio equipment, free weights, and a few machines. You can definitely get a great workout in here, but if you're used to a certain type of equipment, you will need to modify your workout. Outside of the room, I did experience the catering and while the food was good, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of gluten free options during snack breaks and desserts at the banquet meal. For example, they had a delicious chips and guacamole bar but all of the chips, crackers, and bread had gluten - even the tortilla chips! Almost all of the desserts offered through catering were not gluten free and having a sweet tooth, this was very sad for me. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed the meals, so this was more of a food-allergy specific comment for me personally. I also stepped out of the banquet to take pictures and had left something on the table. I'm the 12 minutes I was gone, the table was cleared and my hair piece was gone. Very disappointed about that, but they did help me put in an incident report/lost items report so hopefully someone will find it with the silverware or something. Overall, I had a good experience here but there were a few things that could have been better such as with the catering for food allergies. I think if you're coming here for a vacation, this would be a great place to visit as everyone was very helpful and the employees were so friendly and it's a great place to host an event if you don't have any food allergies to consider. read more

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and it ticked every box I expect from a fancy downtown hotel. The rooms were clean, bathrooms especially thank god, and all the staff was fairly polite. A lot of people criticise the parking situation but I ubered everywhere so I have no comment on that. All the restaurants at the hotel were underwhelming, that would normally would have it's on review, but I feel like it's part of the hotels ecosystem. Overall it was fine! read more

We wanted a upscale hotel with an outdoor pool and bar and this hotel is probably the ONLY one in downtown Fort Worth! The rooms are comfy and clean with a nice sized bathroom complete with large shower. We overlooked the pool area but we did not hear any outside noises through the windows. We did have a few housekeeping issues such as the shower gel being empty (they have the attached bottles instead of the takeaway sample sizes) and a missing shower mat. Unfortunately although these were relatively minor issues - they were not resolved quickly and we had to remind reception 4 times before it was remedied. Considering the price and the star rating of the hotel, this was disappointing. The proximity to sun dance square, the steak restaurants and some fabulous bars can't be beat tho! A 10-20 minute walk and you are in the heart of the action. read more

I have witnessed the destruction of customers vehicles, speeding and reckless driving- not to mention that I was told thwy go through gloveboxes amd look for valuables and home addresses. When you call to complain about some damage to your car- the Head valet will impersonate a Hotel manager and dismiss whatever claim you may have. This behavior is so unlike FtWorth. Unfortunately, the company that runs the Valet is PMSI- 770.329.4366 is the number to call if you need to as well- Though they will just deny any wrongdoing. shame - this used to be a fantastic hotel with near perfect service- PMSI has definitely dragged this hotel to the bottom. We did a staycation from Dallas, since we'd never been to Fort Worth. We've been to Omni Dallas and Las Colinas and those were wonderful experiences, so we were expecting something similar when we came here. Location is great, it's not too far inside downtown so the traffic isn't too bad. It's also right across from the water gardens, which is a nice 10-20 minute stroll. Valet and bellhop service were excellent! Check in process was also easy. They gave us a room on the 13th floor, but the view was from the back so we only saw a parking structure. Luck of the draw! The room is definitely a little dated, but the bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious. My major complaint is that there was basically no hot water in the shower. I read other reviews that said they waited an hour for warm water and to be aware of the 360 handle. I waited for more than an hour for water to even get semi-warm, or maybe it just felt warm because I got used to freezing cold water...very disappointed, because a comfortable bed and hot shower should be a given at any hotel. Unfortunately the shower issue gave us enough grief that we probably won't come back and is the reason for 2/5 stars. read more

The Thanksgiving buffet here was DIVINE! From the moment you enter @ valet to being seated, the service was phenomenal. Love all the warm and festive decorations and the food was definitely tasty. They had all the holiday favorites from turkey, ham, stuffing, cranberry sauce - to some newly added items such as steamed banana leaf fish w/curry sauce and smoked cherry prime rib. The list goes on, but the array of food items were overwhelming - I got to what I could. Lol. Not to mention they had bottomless mimosas - WELL WORTH every penny. :D read more

Who doesn't love Omni hotels? One of my favorites that never disappoints. The rooms are always spacious and welcoming. The check in process was a breeze. On site restaurants allow for quick meals, Bar visits and a Starbucks fix for those who need it. The daily breakfast and lunch buffets provided for the conference attendees was exceptional. You can access the Complimentary Trolley access via the city right outside if the hotel. In walking proximity to stores and restaurants. Ample sitting areas located throughout the hotel. Elevators move pretty quickly for those on higher floors. Staff were friendly and assisted with any need. The beds just envelop you during the night for a great sleep. I couldn't hear any outside noise from my 14 floor room which was great. Room service is available. read more

A 40th Birthday Disaster - if 0 Stars was an option this would be it. My 40th birthday celebration at this Omni Hotels and Resorts location was nothing short of a nightmare. The room, which should have been a haven of comfort, was a disappointment right from the start, with remnants of the previous guests left uncleaned, including empty water bottles. The promised highlight of the celebration, two bottles of champagne, and decadent chocolate-covered strawberries, was an outright letdown. Instead, I received a pitiful substitute - a mere piece of chocolate cake and a single-serve bottle of Chandon. The attempts to correct the situation were not only futile but exacerbated my disappointment. To make matters worse, the staff's incompetence reached new heights as they erroneously delivered a platter resembling cranberry scones (more like "stuffed cookies") with a paltry of four pieces of chocolate, subsequently telling me that they "ran out" of chocolate covered strawberries. Adding insult to injury, they insisted on charging us for the missing champagne bottle at the bar instead of comping it to us as originally promised. The front desk's utter lack of coordination and complete disregard for the promised amenities left me profoundly dissatisfied. It's disheartening that Omni Hotels and Resorts allows such a poorly managed establishment to tarnish their once-reputable name. Spare yourself the agony and opt for a different venue for your special occasions. A milestone birthday should be memorable for the right reasons, not marred by this level of incompetence. 0 out of 5 stars - an experience that haunts my memory. The ONLY staff deserving of a review are the valet staff from drop off, to grabbing a backpack left from initial drop off; they have been more than helpful in every way.
