Boutique hotel with an amazing location central to all things Downtown Indy. Very close to some great restaurants and right in the middle of all the action. We only had the pleasure of staying one night, but we really liked it here. We were "in town" for a music event and checked in during the early evening. The desk agent was hospitable and made us feel welcomed. She came around the desk to hand us our key cards and complimentary water bottles before pointing us in the direction of the elevators. Our room was on the 12th, and highest, floor. It was very clean and had a very sleek look with a large window in the sleeping/living area, as well as another in the restroom. The view was mostly of the surrounding rooftops, but it was nice to have some natural light. There was a robe and slippers in the room for us as well. We dropped our things, stowed some items in the mini fridge and headed out. On our way back out, the desk clerk asked how the room was and we were able to request a second robe and pair of slippers. We also inquired about the complimentary champagne or sparkling wine that they had behind the desk. She graciously poured some for each of us and again came from behind the desk to hand it directly to us. It's a small gesture that meant so much. Very classy! We sipped the libation and took in the artwork in the larger lobby area located near the entrance. There is a lot of comfortable sitting areas, beautiful decor and artwork, as well as backgammon boards. We sat enjoying this space for a while prior to leaving for our concert. Upon our return, we requested their complimentary sleep kits. They include ear plugs, eye masks and chamomile tea. That was a nice touch. We walked to the Steak and Shake located across the street for a late-night snack. We had a good night's rest in the room. The thermostat was easily adjustable, and the a/c functioned well. In the morning, the water temp and pressure were good and the body wash included in the shower smelled like the hotel lobby. It is a subtle and refreshing scent. read more

We really enjoyed our stay here! It's a charming, unique hotel that's a refreshing change from the typical large chain hotels. The location is fantastic and an easy walk to the convention center, which made getting around incredibly convenient. Our only real complaints were the tiny, slow elevators and the pace of service in the restaurant and bar. That said, there was a major convention in town, and it seemed like all of the downtown hotels were stretched pretty thin. The staff was clearly busy, so it felt more like they were overwhelmed than inattentive. If you're looking for something with more character than the standard hotel experience, this is a great choice. read more

We were invited to attend for the grand re-opening of the hotel after all their renovations. The welcome champagne, cocktails, and food were so fresh and thoughtful. We felt like royalty :) Regardless of the food and drinks, the hotel was so beautiful. From the lounge areas, the restaurant, to the rooms, everything had a fresh modern feel to it, while keeping that vintage vibe. I will definitely be staying here for our next staycation. This hotel was clean and the service was friendly. It's close to multiple restaurants, especially steakhouses, like St. Elmo's and Fogo de Chao . It's also about a 15min walk away from Mass Ave. and Monument Circle. Note: valet parking is $59/day, with unlimited in/out of the parking structure. My rating is based mostly on the great staff that works here. They were extremely friendly, always said hello and goodbye as I came and went. And when I asked for a few simple things they went way out of their way to accommodate. People make the difference for sure. The room is a normal what you would expect to get from Marriott not bad or good but what you expect. The location is fantastic right downtown next all of the restaurants and the canal is fairly close to be able to go for a walk or a bike on. First of all the hotel website SPECIFICALLY FOR INDIANAPOLIS says that we can bring in pets and did not specify which kind. However when we arrived with our cat they told us we cannot bring her in and it is against their policy. But no where on there website does it say that. Then the manager Julie comes out (she's the worst whoever hired her need to go to federal prison because she was very rude) and I told her it was against the law to kick us out if the website says we can brings pets of any kind. Anyways do not come here pure slob of a place take your money somewhere better. The only upside was the dude who was doing the valet parking he was the best. read more

I opt to stay at Marriotts for our travels, so when we planned a trip to Indianapolis, not only did I seek out a Marriott but decided to splurge and treat me and my wife to a higher end experience. Le Meridien was really nice all around. The location was perfect for what we had planned -- we valet parked our car on Friday and pretty much got everywhere we needed by walking or talking Ubers. The staff was super friendly all around -- from the valet parking staff to the front desk to the bar at the restaurant. The room was lovely, especially the coffee machine! By far the best in-room coffee I've had. All around, we decided to treat ourselves and this hotel made it worth it. We feel we got a premium experience all around and really enjoyed the stay. read more

Subject: Extremely Disappointed - Award Certificate Not Applied to My Le Méridien Indianapolis Booking Dear Marriott Bonvoy Customer Care Team, I am writing to express my frustration with how my recent reservation at Le Méridien Indianapolis was handled. I booked this stay specifically to use an award certificate--it was the reason I chose this hotel and made the trip. Instead of applying the certificate, the booking deducted points from my account. Before completing the booking, I even called customer service to confirm that the reward certificate would be used. After discovering the issue, I called again and spoke with a representative who told me there was "nothing that could be done." That answer is unacceptable. Clearly, there are ways to apply a certificate or to credit points back when a booking is mishandled. The call was unnecessarily obstinate and unhelpful, leaving me with the impression that Marriott is unwilling to support loyal customers. This experience makes me reconsider my loyalty to Marriott. I have been a dedicated Bonvoy member and cardholder, but if this is how issues are handled, I will seriously evaluate moving my stays and my credit card spend to another brand such as Hilton or Hyatt. I expect Marriott to resolve this by either applying my award certificate to the Le Méridien Indianapolis reservation as intended or restoring the points that were wrongly deducted from my account. read more

Awesome hotel and location The hotel was clean and the staff was fantastic. The rooms were on the smaller side, but very quiet hotel and it felt like the walls were insulated, as you didn't hear much noise at all! The beds were great and the bathroom was clean and modern. Also note, this location is close to everything, especially some great steakhouses! I parked across the street and had no issues with parking. I had a not so pleasant stay at Le Meridian Indy in Mile Square. I'll start with the pros. It's in a great location with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the attached restaurant was delicious, and the lobby was beautiful. I'll also add that check in and check out were a breeze and while I didn't have to worry about parking, they do have it available. Same goes for a gym. When it comes to the cons - I had a few. The body wash was empty in my shower and the trash was never taken out. I called down and they said I could leave it outside the door for pick up, which happened quickly. I didn't worry about the body wash since there was hand soap. I just made it work. The biggest issue I had was that the room was so incredibly loud that I couldn't sleep. The first night it was manageable with my phone playing white noise on the nightstand. The second night it was even worse, so bad that a staff member came up around midnight and agreed that it was not acceptable. After trying several different rooms with the same issue, we finally found one that was quiet. I believe the problem was that the room faced an ally with a ton of heaters that were running loudly. Hence why we tried a couple rooms before landing on one that didn't face the alley. White noise tends to do the trick for me when it comes to falling asleep but this drove me absolutely crazy. I'm so thankful for the lady that helped me find a room so I was comfortable, even with it being so late at night. With the rest of the hotel being so nice, but the room being on the verge of uninhabitable, I have to settle on giving them a three star. read more

This mid-size property is a spectacular addition to the Indianapolis Marriott Lodging Portfolio. If you are used to the service, ambiance, and attention to detail provided by Marriot properties but, are looking for less hassle than the larger accommodations look no further than Le Meridien. I've stayed at this property three times over the course of the year -- a pandemic year at that-- and have never felt less than exceptional. There is a nice set of amenities + additions including an on-property restaurant, Spoke + Steele, gym, and complimentary wifi for all Bonvoy members. Valet parking is available nightly at a cost of 45$ but, is unlimited in + out -- a nice touch for someone looking to explore but, also relax. The hallways are filled with the signature scent and sounds of expertly curated Marriot properties, making you feel like you are in an upscale French-industrial era escape. The rooms aren't huge -- this is the heart of Indianapolis after all -- but, definitely large enough to comfortably fit a king-size bed. The real winners here are the staff. The front desk supervisor Zahrah and a gentleman (unsure of his name, Edward?) were truly EXTRAORDINARY. Would definitely recommend staying. read more

Just checked in to this hotel. This is our first real vacation in years so we splurged up for an executive suite - turns out executive suites are right next to the elevator. And for "extra" see photos for our view. Asked to be moved. We are here early on a Thursday, obviously they have other unoccupied rooms at this time - front desk young lady refused to help us. Lousy room, lousier customer service. We absolutely do NOT recommend this hotel, no one wants charged more for the loudest room in the hotel with an obstructed view of roof utilities :/ definitely feel cheated. read more

Struggling with whether to give a 4 or 5 star rating, decided to bump it up based on the staff. Upon arrival we were greeted by the most pleasant doorman, Mr. Keith, who was a delight every time we saw him. He radiates joy and seems to really enjoy his job. While having lunch the following morning at the hotel, we watched him for a while as he helped people get their cars loaded/unloaded maintaining the same personable demeanor. Upon check-in we were warmly greeted by Katherine who gave us our keys & some helpful information about construction hours at the hotel, along with a voucher for breakfast. That was incredibly appreciated. She was also very personable, and later in the evening after we came back for dinner, she asked how our evening was going. Upon hearing I had heartburn from our very heavy meal, she provided a small package of antacid tablets and some water. Every time we passed through the lobby we were greeted by the front desk & others. The housekeeping staff were just as friendly. We were in a standard room & found it adequate. The room was clean, smelled nice, and had a pod coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, and decent soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotions. Unfortunately there was only one chair and a bench directly under the TV, so there was inadequate seating. The bed was comfortable enough to sleep in, but lacked enough firm pillows for sitting up comfortably. The bedding was soft & kept us warm without being too heavy or hot. The bed was placed in a fairly small area between an exterior wall and the bathroom, so I ended up having to climb into bed from the bottom because there wasn't enough room to get into bed from the side due to the wall being too close. Because of that wall, only one side of the bed had a nightstand. The bathroom was small but clean & had all the necessities. Counter space was very limited. The makeup removing towel was appreciated. All towels were large, thick & absorbent. We would have appreciated more than two each of the bath and wash towels. The room was thankfully very quiet, which is surprising in an old hotel. We only heard the occasional closing of room doors, no loud talking or televisions, etc in nearby rooms. So they must have taken care to do sound insulation between the rooms. We visited the hotel lounge one night & had superb cocktails and service. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was good both days, as was the service, and the atmosphere was bright & sunny despite the windows being covered by scaffolding. Valet service was quick & efficient. We called before leaving our room & the car was at the curb when we walked out the door. Aside from the people, the next best thing about our stay was this hotel's convenient location. We were in town for our anniversary, and also to see the fantastically talented Eagles play at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. It was only about a 5 minute walk to our concert venue, and St Elmo's Steakhouse is right next door to the hotel! There are many, many other restaurants and bars nearby as well. We even went for a stroll in the attached shopping mall. read more

Booked online, I had to call to ensure we had enough space for my husband, kiddo and I. So helpful to make sure we had two beds. Check in was so easy, I did when we were on our way. Room was ready early. We parked across the street, literally across the street in the parking lot versus valeting car. Parking lot of $24 a day. Check in took seconds. The room was comfortable and we had not troubles during our visit. Was pleased with fitness room surprised to see it was so equipped and I had it to myself. Convenient to downtown INDY. I wish I could give this hotel 10 stars!! I have traveled all over - staying at many Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton's, etc. I have never received such amazing service as I did here! Every staff member made us feel so incredibly welcome. My husband and I spent most of our time in the lobby working, while our sweet pup laid between us. Everyone checked in on us offering coffee, water, and of course treats for our dog Macie (which they treated like a queen!!!). Everyone from the front desk, restaurant/bar, and the front door deserves a lot of praise! They are the reason we canceled a hotel we had booked for our daughter's upcoming graduation in May and switched to staying here! We won't stay anywhere else when visiting Indy. Horrible experience. Looking for a nice getaway with my wife. We checked in on a timeline to a room that smelled like abrasive chemicals. Polyurethane floor stain. burns your eyes and nostrils kind of smell. I called the front desk and ask them to bring a fan up as we had an appointment to leave for. They said they would. We returned late night and tired to find that nothing had been done. When I called the front desk, they said they don't have any fans. They offered two other rooms which we physically went to, at 1am and they both smelled of the same abrasive chemicals. My wife was exhausted so we stayed. We were woken up early by mechanical, grinding sound. There was a window crew on the exterior assumably, stripping and sealing the windows with whatever chemical we were smelling. read more

Well, my 3rd different hotel in as many nights lands me at Le Meridian tonight, and this is hands down the best one of the trip. Though the king bed room is not spacious, it is very comfortable and the furnishings are definitely an upgrade over most chain hotels. Bed was super comfortable, crisp and clean linens, and nice attention to little details throughout the room. Easily accessible electrical outlets, upscale in room coffee option, and spacious bathroom are nice touches. You will not be disappointed with your stay. read more

Exceptionally expensive for what they have to offer. Small rooms, tiny bathrooms, and zero upgrades for platinum members. As with most hotel wifi, it is about as slow as dialup. If you are unfortunate enough to have a room facing the main street, you will need to wear earplugs as Indianapolis seems to have a problem with unregulated unmuffled cars and motorcycles. It's absolute madness. The restaurant and its staff deserve five stars; as do the cleaning staff. read more

I stayed at this hotel while visiting Indianapolis for the weekend and I was very pleased with my stay. It is a little small but the room I had was very cozy. I enjoyed the shower and the bed and pillows. The towels were soft too. I hate it when you get towels that scratch your skin in most hotels. I was traveling alone so this was a great spot to find dining nearby and the mall is located on the second floor. I did not have to go outside at all. The service I received at the check in counter was pleasant and the valet attendants were very nice also. I would definitely stay there again. read more

The beds are nice and big as we were able to get to Kings size beds for our stay! The bar had the best drinks ever! They were able to mix me and my friends drinks with new ideas that we had. I will preface this by saying that downtown Indy is an odd hotel market. While Indy is a rather large downtown, it really isn't at the same time. It's a secondary hotel market, so ones expectations might not be met when comparing it to other the other Le Meridiens in major markets. Pro's: + Location- You are smack down in the middle of downtown and steps from Circle City Mall and many restaurants. Depending on the weather, you about a 15 minute walk or short Uber ride to Mass Ave + Decor- Updated Modern decor. Very clean and functioning. + Bed - Comfortable +Shower head - nice and tall + Outlets - Plentiful and modernized to include USB cables + Wifi- It works and the signal strength is good + Staff- Front of the house staff is very friendly and helpful Con's: - Valet- Depending upon the time you arrive/depart and scheduled events downtown, this can take some time and a bit of a line - bed - the king beds are a bit on the shorter side, especially if you are on the taller side - Elevators - this is an older hotel. They are smaller and can only fit 1-2 people, especially with luggage. It can fell a bit claustrophobic. - Rooms - this is an older hotel, so the walls are a bit thin and room sizes vary Tips: If you don't wish to valet, there are many parking lots associated with Circle City Mall that are close, if not right across from the hotel. Just remember, there are no in/out privileges when using these lots. read more

Because of it's great location, gorgeous, modern decor, and friendly staff, I'm happy to dole out 4 stars for Le Meriden Indy. That being said, I think there's some room for improvement overall. Decor: Is really lovely. Super modern but warm and inviting at the same time. Lots of whites and grays. Comfort factor: My bed was super comfy, the room spotless, and the bathroom was spacious and inviting. The rooms themselves lean on the smaller side, but when I travel for work it's typically just me, so I don't require a ton of room. In Room Dining: Major fail here. The food was actually decent, but the prices were already high and tack on a 23% service charge *and* $5 delivery and your lunch is exorbitant. Staff: Everyone I encountered was friendly but I didn't experience the overwhelming helpfulness & accommodation that I've read it other reviews. WiFi: Free and stable, just like it should be! Location: Great and walkable to plenty of downtown points of interest. Indy hotels are a big of an enigma to me, mostly because the cost can get extremely high if there's even a chance of a convention downtown. So, while Le Meridien is a nice hotel, I'm still up for exploring other options when I travel to town. read more

I was recently looking for a hotel for a starvation and came across an unbeatable deal at Le Meridien through a third party hotel website that I could not pass up, as this place would usually be out of our price range. It's a blink and you'll miss it, boutique hotel nestled in the heart of downtown, but as soon as you walk through the doors, you will be amazed at how they made use of the small space. The decor is beautiful and they have a a great sitting area/lobby as well as the amazing Spoke and Steele, a great place to grab dinner, drinks, and/or brunch. The hospitality was great- we were greeted every time we passed the front desk. The room itself was great, albeit a little small. And the hallways were very narrow. That's the only thing keeping me from making this a 5 star review. I think at the typical price you would pay, you could probably get a much larger room in a similar location. My stay at Le Meridian was amongst the best I have ever had. The remodel was wonderfully done. We had a two king bed room, which was an unexpected surprise. Everything was clean, spacious, and pristine. The wait staff, desk clerks, and curb staff were all wonderful. Any request I made of them was exceeded, and with a smile. The bar staff was a little less attentive but that was easily overlooked when the rest of the stay was taken into account. Hail to Le Meridian! We went to see Casablanca at the Indianapolis Symphony and decided to eat dinner at Spoke & Steel. I made the reservation and thought I would check rates for Le Meridian for the night. The rates were very reasonable and the rooms are very nice. However,what stands out the most is the staff. I truly have nothing but exceptional things to say for ALL of them - from the valet to the front desk. Just a note, Tim, who checked us in and checked us out was so great. It's easy to walk into a hotel as nice and expertly decorated as Le Meridian and feel a pretentious air but Tim made us feel right at home. This hotel seems brand new from all the interiors and upgrades. My room was upgraded to a suite and I have not seen anything more modern than this hotel. Parking - you can park overnight or long term in the parking garage across the road for $22 a night. There are multiple places to eat around so no worry there. This place went out of their way for service by getting me razors from nearby CVS as they had run out of emergency stock. read more

This was my first time staying at a Le Meridien hotel. Overall, very good experience. Highly comfortable bed, of the best I've slept in at hotels in a long time. The hotel has a French theme and there are lovely scents in guest rooms and common areas. Good quality body wash, shampoo, and lotion provided. The hotel has a very relaxing vibe and the onsite restaurant is delicious. Fitness center is modern and up to date. My only complaint is you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway and nearby rooms, the doors and walls aren't the best insulated I've seen in hotels. There is no onsite parking, they do have a convenient 20 min loading/unloading zone in front of hotel to grab your bags. Overall a very good hotel and experience. read more

I stayed at le Meridien during a work trip and overall enjoyed my stay. The hotel is conveniently located downtown and next to many restaurants and Is quick freeway access to the airport. It's also located near the circle center mall and a very nice TJ maxx! I was able to walk to mass ave for some coffee and boutique shopping as well. Shapiro's deli was also not too far of a walk. The hotel itself was clean, modern and inviting. Service was friendly and I felt safe in the hotel, I liked that the elevator required a room key scan in order to go up. The lobby was also cozy and the restaurant downstairs also looked good. Ordered room service one morning and had a pleasant experience The room was quiet, spacious and clean and the bed was comfy. Nice sized bathroom fully stocked also and the fridge was a plus. I'd recommend staying at le Meridien- it's a smaller size hotel than some of the others but I liked the boutique hotel vibes and service was great. read more
