I walked in late, around 8 PM last night and was courteously greeted by the owner and another technician busily working on a client pedicure. Despite the late hour, and having no appointment, my nails were fillet and polish beautifully by the young lady who works with the owner in the salon. I did not get her name, but she was quite polite, asked me questions about where I worked in but I did and was very interested and my answers. She didn'tRush or make it seem as though it was an inconvenience to do a fill for me that close to closing time. I had previously tried to get into two other highly rated salons that day, only to be rudely turned away. Apparently, everyone at lavish is too busy drinking that wine they offer to care about fitting in the customer before Friday. Regardless of the fact I came with a recommendation from one of the best clients. As a small business owner myself, I know the importance of word-of-mouth recommendations. I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to try LeNail Salon In Battlefield Mall Near the mall entrance by Dillards. It's next to RackRoom shoes and is quietly elegant with the most courteous and polite friendly staff. I paid less for my nails originally and for my fill and gel polish than I would have at The other nail salons I had been told were so wonderful. All I can say is I have never been treated as politely and felt as comfortable and welcome as I do at LeNail. I will never go anywhere else for manicures, pedicures or any other services. 5+ stars! Nails were filed super crooked and she was really rough with my hands. I don't mind but I can imagine a lot of people being upset when it's supposed to be relaxing. But real talk what are these nail shapes bc it's not what I asked for. The tech kept trying to pressure me to get them longer and saying she couldn't do the shape I want if they're that short. But they weren't that short bc they were long enough for her to completely ruin the shape. Honestly the more I look at how crooked my thumb nail is the madder I get. They use the same tools for everyone which isn't sanitary. One of the nail techs is a gentleman who only cares about his hand flourishes and doing everything in fast strokes so gel manicures turn out lumpy and sloppy. I went in yesterday (10/18/2020) at around 4:45pm, I was so happy that they did not turn me away because they close at 6pm and I'm a truck driver who had to get back on the road the next day. I was not pleased with my experience here at all. I got a full set with regular nail polish. The problems really started when I pointed out that one of my nails had a bubble on it. She huffed a put a glob beside the bubble that was there to "even it out". Then when she filed them she used the side of the file to shove my cuticles down. All of my nails are crooked and over filed on one side. Plus the paint job did not look professional in the end. Basically just go to Sun nails. Also in the mall but only 4 dollars more. Way worth it. They also messed up my best friends nails. She was bleeding. read more

Did a great job for how fast they did my nails, the cost was 31$ for these and it took about 40-50 min. I went somewhere else before, and they were uneven and janky, and cost about 50$ with tip. These are way better and cost less. Will definitely go again. The person doing my nails didn't talk to other nail technicians a ton like some places, and the salon was relatively quiet, despite the outside noise from the mall. read more

I got a full and shellac. I'm going to be blunt. Every other nail is bleeding, almost every nail is crooked. The nail technician did not clean up the shellac before having me cure it so I ended with shellac on my skin and cuticles. He also used his NAIL to push my cuticles back and push the skin away from the acrylic after it had cured. First time in my life I've not left a tip. read more

Went and got my nails done on Thursday I wanted them dipped she made them super thin she only put two layers when it's supposed to have six. She did not cut them all the same shape when I went home that night I broke two of them went on Friday to get them fixed she fixed them cheaper than she did the first time while the whole time telling me it was my fault then Friday night I broke yet another nail. They did a beautiful job on my acrylic nails every time I went there, but they never understood how short I want my fake nails to be. It's hard to explain that you don't want them super short and you don't want them ultra long. They are kind ladies. I like them. They want to please you. So they would rather err on the side of caution, I guess, and make your nails too long. How did I solve this problem? I just totally quit having acrylic nails done altogether. read more

I do not recommend this salon especially if you are a person of color. They blatantly ignored my friend and I while we waited for over 30 minutes and when a white Anglo woman walked in the nail technician was overly eager to assist her. I was looking forward to taking my kids and getting a pedicure while relaxing in a massage chair. We arrived and they said yo look in the polish books for colors of regular polish and got right into the chairs. The nail tech thought we picked put our polish like we use to do and could not find the one we picked in the book. Then realized the massage on mine did not work. Major let down for me since I was looking forward to that. Then my little girls asked for designs. My youngest asked for a palm tree and a tropical flower. He said what color flower and she said coral and he said how about white. Very disappointed in these designs I had to pay extra for. I have come here many times but not frequently. The salon is also very dirty with stuff all over the floors. Most the nail techs are friendly and can do art but today was not our day. read more

so my mother and I decided to get our nails done Wednesday and we both decided to get shellac nothing crazy something pretty simple i wanted to get a mauve color with 1 glittery nail on each hand, so my nail tech didn't make conversation nor did she try, as she cut my cuticles I was sure she went to high and sure enough as she used the machine my cuticles was hurting as she rubbed it over and over again, then she kept getting mad that I didn't know how to turn the uv light back on mind u it's been awhile that I've done my nails so she would just keep telling me "turn it on don't take your hand out" so she finishes painting my nails and I notice bubbles on all my nails and she only tried to fix 1, so she had the longest nails that were just scratching me the whole time while getting a 20 sec. massage. As for my mom she showed then a simple glitter ombre photo which right away they tried to turn her down and tell her they couldn't do it which If i heard that i would have told her nvm let's go but she tried giving the guy a chance and he failed miserably it wasn't that complicated and still managed to do a crap job, my daughter age4 wanted her nails blue with 1 flower on her nail and as i told the man he wouldn't and just kept saying her nails were to little but yet charged us $10 for the 10 second paint job he did for my daughter and not even doing what we asked for. If anyone is thinking of coming to this place i recommend u don't unless u just want a simple color done the techs were all very rude and over priced for a crap job I will never go here again read more

I just received one of, if not the worst, manicures I've ever gotten. The employee that did my nails seemed to be in charge of the shop but I'm not sure. He did my manicure with dirty instruments he pulled out of his drawer, definitely not sterilized. The filing was ragged and the polish applied haphazardly even running over my cuticles. The edges of the polish started peeling back almost immediately and you could see the different layers of polish that were applied inconsistently. This was BY FAR the WORST pedicure I have EVER had!! Went for a girls day with my bestie and we decided to get pedicures. Our usual place was no longer in business, so we came across LeNails in the mall. At first glance, things looked good - there were tons of pedicure stations and most were filled with paying customers. That is about the best thing I can say about the place. I sat down in the chair and the woman started the pedicure. I watched as the woman proceeded to take my polish off - it took her FOREVER to get the polish off. Granted I did have a dark color on, but still - it has never been an issue before. As the pedicure progressed, I noticed that she only filed and buffed like every third toe and the ones she did get to she basically slapped the file across the toes and instructed me to put my feet back in the bath. The massage was non-existent - she only rubbed the lotion into my feet and legs. She finally got to the polish. As I watched per paint my toes, it was completely totally obvious that she had little to no experience polishing nails. The polish job was a bubbly mess. Trying to be nice (a major feat considering I knew I would be paying someone FULL price for a pedicure who was obviously still in training), I mentioned that maybe the polish was old and asked her to change the color. She did only after confirming with a co-worker that this was okay. Again her polishing technique (if you can even call it that) caused ridges and grooves in the polish as she applied it. This time when I went to complain, I was told by the co-worker that it was my toes causing the ridges. I think not - when I had polished my own toes several days before I had no problems getting the polish smooth as glass. This was BY FAR the WORST pedicure I have EVER had. Once we were done, my friend said she was never going to LeNails again and started complaining about the girl who had done her toes. And the whole thing cost me $35, and her $45. I thought they did a decent job considering the price. I got a black tip set of acrylics with one line of gold glitter to underline the black and they looked just the way I wanted them to and although the guy doing my nails did seemed annoyed and got some glue all over my fingertips, I only had to pay $36 and I personally was satisfied. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! It is the worst place in town to get your nails done!!! They are WAY over priced!!! It cost $80 for a pedicure & acrylic set!!!! I usually go to Expo Nails (which is excellent) & it only cost $45 for pedicure & acrylic set! But i went here because Expo Nails is closed Sun mornings & i needed to get my nails done then! From now on i will wait!!!!! Not only are they over priced but do a horrible job! The guy that did my nails took way to long & it ended up looking like crap!!
