My regular nail salon was closed for a week and a half, and I wanted to find somewhere nice to just get my toes redone. I usually cut, file, & shape them myself because I prefer them a certain way. I asked the woman who did my pedicure 5 minutes beforehand to please not cut, file, or shape them because I had already done so- yet she decided to cut them, to their shortest length possible. At that point, you can't exactly do anything because the nail has already been cut. I also wanted a gel pedicure with just white, I've done white for YEARS and it's the only color I prefer. I was then watching their tv in the salon, she finishes the first coat on both feet and had already let the UV light cure. By that point I look down and realize she gave me French tips, which is no where close to 'all white.' Well, you know once the UV light has cured, there's not much you can do other than to restart. I ended up paying and leaving, then got home and was actually inspecting my pedicure more closely. That was a breaking point for me because I wanted to pamper myself and instead got probably the worst service possible. There is many uneven spots in the top coat and paint, one toenail was not even cut at a straight angle, my nails are now as short as they can be. All I could do was just cry, not only did I absolutely hate how they turned out, but I'm also now out $55.46. On top of that, to even go and get them redone AGAIN, if I want them the way I want them I need to wait for them to grow out where they were to shape them how I like them. I will not be back here ever again, and I highly urge their future considering customers to take my first and last experience into their thoughts on coming here.

I showed a picture of what I was wanting - color - shape and length. The techs said what color and I said I'm not sure but I really want one close to this color ... he then proceeds to tell me I don't know what color that is and walks off. So I find a color as close to the picture I can find on the samples. When he opens the jar of powder I immediately say that's really pink and not really what I wanted. He ignores me and continues to start dipping my fingers in the powered. I let him get one coat of powder on thinking maybe when he filed it down it will lighten up... so I ask and he said this is what it will look like. I again said that's not what I wanted or chose, he again ignores me and keeps working so I asked if we could put a white of something over it to tone it down a little and his response was no. So I said I do not like this color and asked my niece to go get the sample to make sure I didnt tell him the wrong number and I didn't. I showed him the color and put my current nail to it and it was white compared to the pink he was currently putting on my nails and so I said see this is not the right color and I do want this color. His excuse was those samples are 15 years old. He then said he can put a milky white over it to see if it helps so I just said ok. At this point I was beyond frustrated and ready to go. I also had to ask him to reshape one of my nails as it was nothing like any of the other 9! At the end the color was completely wrong, the dip is lumpy and thicker in areas, and the milky white he put on is different on every nail. One looks more white the one right next to it. Now to my daughter's experience. My daughter (11) getting her nails done since she was 7 wanted french tips this time so she did acrylic ( I do not let her do this often) the nail tech made her bleed under one of her nails and her fingers had red rings at the nail beds where it looked like they filed her skin off! They also left white paint on one of her fingers where she accidentally touched the side when it was still wet.

I was watching as their clients would leave, and everyone's hair looked great! I love that they all go to the hair shows and keep up with the classes. Ketchina is a color magician and my hair always looks fantastic and when I say, "Holy crap my hair looks great!", Ketchina has to remind me not to cuss . Also, the salon is certified for Diva Curls - so you girls with curly hair need to check it out. It's some type of specialty hair treatment that brings girls in from miles around. The salon also has a large selection of hair products and tools. I tried Moroccan Oil for the first time and now use it after every was.
