My sis and I were turned away as a walk-in from Quality Nails and walked over here. This salon is much bigger and was busy busy. Nail tech Lena was off for the day just dropping off food for her husband and stayed to do my nails. She did an absolute great job and was fast. Pedi was perfect. Did not have a good experience. My fingers are very sore and I was not happy with the shape. They did fit me in the same day to get them fixed, however I left with another cut finger and it's very thick under my nails. When I called after the second time, I requested it to be refunded. I spoke with a woman named Stephanie who was very rude, raised her voice at me the entire call, and would not let me speak with the manager I had spoke with earlier. She said there was nothing they could do for me and they had done their job. When I informed her my fingers were sore and I noticed bleeding she said it's my fault for not letting them know when I was there, and then she hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak with someone else, but Stephanie took the phone from the receptionist and would not give the phone to anyone else. I had been here a few times before and have had great experiences, but after this and with how rude Stephanie was, I will not be back. read more

Made an appointment and still waited 45 minutes to be seen. Was rushed through the appointment. The nail technician did not even do a manicure - never touched my cuticles or anything. Just did the dip powder and rushed me to the pedicure chair. If I'm spending $100+ I want a decent manicure. It was so busy and the poor nail technician didn't even get a lunch break. I had a regular nail salon in Springfield before trying this place out with my sister back in December. One time was all it took and I've kept come back ever since. All the nail techs here are so friendly and always remember me and everyone I've brought in. They have a huge selection of colors which is a major reason I made the switch from salons! They convinced me to try the dip and I've been getting that consistently since, as it's so much better for your nails! This place is very clean and they have a ventilation system on the nail tables that sucks the strong fumes away. I could go on and on about how great they are here but I'll just add some pics so you can see for yourself. read more

Went a second time and what a downswing. My pedicure was done in 20-25 minutes and was barely anything went through the motions but no scrubbing and will not be back. Eric was a quiet guy and he had to move around a lot, but he was very clean, detail oriented, professional, and constantly checking to make sure I was happy with my nails all through the process! He did a wonderful job. The salon was clean and they offered refreshments while you wait. There's tons of colors to choose from and everyone there was very nice. My pedicure was $40 with shellac and my manicure was $40 with French tip and dipping powder. This was a great price and time well spent, and I'll be back! Oh my goodness!!! Best place ever. The staff is so kind. I had to wait so they set me up in a massage chair with wine while I waited. When the time came for me to do my nails, I had a couple problems with the acrylics. I travel for a living and the previous place I went had left my nails in horrible shape. It was really bad. The owner herself took over, cleaned everything up on my nails and didn't even charge me! The place is extra clean and everyone is so kind. I will be back whenever I am in town. read more

Okay so I have tried three Springfield nail salons in the past 4-6 weeks and hands down (pun intended) Merveilleux is the clear winner. I made an appointment for a mani-pedi 24 hours in advance. The owner/manager is extremely professional and cares about client satisfaction so much that he jumped in and did my manicure as the staff was overloaded with customers. He was extremely thorough and a pleasure to talk with as he multitasked assisting his staff and helping customers as they entered the establishment. My nails were shaped perfectly and this gentleman made sure I received what I needed. The woman who did my pedicure was kind and did a beautiful job. I was given all of the things I expect at a nail salon hand and foot massage, hot towels, plus the added bonus of a hot rock massage). In my past recent visits to VIP (a salon I used to really enjoy prior to Covid) and Michelle Nails, I did not receive hand or foot/leg massages and Michelle Nails barely touched my cuticles (which was needed) and did a terrible job shaping and smoothing my nail edges. I WILL return to Marvielluex as they have earned my continued business. I recommend this salon to anyone looking for quality work and a positive experience. read more
