- Disappointed Despite a Friendly Staff Scheduling was very easy over the phone, and the staff was warm and welcoming when we arrived -- which, especially as locals we appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn't meet expectations. While one of the technicians(Mia) delivered excellent service initially, she abruptly left in the middle of my husband's appointment to assist a walk-in client. There was no communication or explanation, and he was left waiting so long that he eventually left without receiving the rest of his service. That was incredibly frustrating and felt very unprofessional. As for my own service -- while I did receive a very relaxing foot and leg massage , the quality of the manicure left much to be desired. My SNS dip nails were uneven and lumpy, with excess product left around and behind the nails. The technician roughly clipped at and filed the overflow off my cuticles, which left them raw and jagged. It looked rushed and careless, and my cuticles are sore. The staff did apologize and mentioned being short-staffed, which we sympathize with, but it felt like the focus was more on pushing through as many clients as possible rather than giving proper attention to the ones already in the chair. Angela lies when she responds to a comment. I left recently because they kept me waiting even though I had a reservation. In her own response to me she said I arrived at 3:30 and I decided to leave at 4:20 because I was still waiting for service and she says she said she had told me they were running 15 minutes late due to one tech having a family emergency. She did not say anything of the sort. She said the techs will be done with the other in a few minutes and be right with me. From 3:30 to 4:20 is not 15 minutes late. It's 50 minutes late. She lied and then offered me a discount to stay. Then she acted indignant when I refused it because they had already wasted almost an hour of my time after I had an appointment for 3:30. Not one to usually do this, but probably the worst nail experience I've ever had. The man was so sweet and it was clearly a family owned business so I felt bad to give such a low tip, but he managed to mess up at least three times on my dip powder nails and still didn't fix the mistakes when he was "finished". I had a very nice experience today. Pedicure was good but the massage...AMAZING! They use essential oils! I got lavender and it was lovely. Felt like a dream...my manicure was the same. Very nice! I was suspicious at first because almost all of the reviews are good, but here I am saying the same thing :) One of my natural nails was broken but still attached to my acrylic tip it was causing me pain and she removed it in a way that was not painful or damaging to the rest of the nail. I contacted the business to see if they would correct the problems in first picture, and was given a time to return. The owner was busy, so I was okay with Angela redoing my nails yesterday to correct the problem that included a refill with gel polish on my nails, polish change to my toes, 2 toe rings and eyebrows waxed and this is what happened after my shower! I expect my edges smooth and even. I expect my nails to be even and I expect polish to go from edge to edge without ridges. I also don't want to see where the second stroke of polish begins . I went to Destin on vacation and had the unfortunate experience of visiting this nail salon. The lady that did my pedicure seemed inexperienced and nervous. Half of my toenails were not painted, but the skin around my nails were. The acrylic is no good, either. I am a tad bit rough on nails, but have never had the problem I had with these. Not even a weak after, three of my nails are chipped and one came off completely (this only ever happens when I wait too long to get them filled). I will not go back. read more

WARNING--- My nails from this place were mediocre at best. The tips of my nails were not totally polished. I got gel on my nails and when I got home I already had a pieces of gel polished that had chipped off several nails. I moved to Destin from Santa Rosa Beach. I was HOPING to find a nail salon close to my new home. Based on the reviews I chose this salon. I went in on Sunday, July 2. Ann left me waiting 10 to 15 mins (I'm not sure what she was doing). She finally calls me to do my nails, we start "small talk". She asked about my work and I told her what I did. She KEPT pushing this BS sales stuff she does on me. For example she posts ads for stuff (toothpaste, lip stuff etc...) on Facebook and other social media platforms. She asked me about teeth whitening. I thought she was complementing me (my teeth are bright white)! She wasn't! She goes into her "sales pitch" about this toothpaste that will whiten your teeth, blah blah blah. I told her I use to work for a dentist and I was happy with my toothpaste choice. Who the hell knows where this toothpaste she's selling comes from! Secondly, her teeth are NOT white! Anyways, I went to get my nails done & to RELAX! I wasn't going for a job interview! I never once said I was looking for a new job, because I'm not. She was even telling me about a laundromat job that was 11pm to 5am. I'm NOT working a 3rd shift job and I'm happy doing what I do! I couldn't believe she was PUSHING these "so called jobs" on me even after I said I wasn't interested. I WON'T BE BACK. I'll drive 30 minutes to the lady who has been doing my nails for the last 7 years. read more

I went back to get it fixed and they were going to charge me! I told them to just take them all off then and it hurt A LOT! Then, they offered to buff my nails and paint them to make them look a little better.
