The food is excellent. The staff is friendly and the bread is to die for. Great for eating there or to go.

I know there are multiple Le Pain Quotidien locations but we really enjoyed this one. It reminded me of all the places where you go in the U.S. that tout all local, fresh ingredients. There was a bit of a Whole Foods vibe if you will. Not a bad thing, but it's just that kind of place. So anyway, it's part bakery and part cafe. We had a lovely breakfast. I ordered avocado toast, which came with a lovely little bowl of soft scrambled eggs and a pain au chocolat. My husband got a big breakfast combo thing that came with all kinds of yummy things. Our waitress was nice and efficient. The atmosphere is really clean, light and inviting. We had a lovely little breakfast. Would highly recommend. read more

We stopped in while looking for another cafe that was recommended to us but we never found. Glad we found Le Pain because we loved it. Sat down to have a quick bite for breakfast. The girls had a parfait, my wife had a cappuccino and I had the rosemary bread with butter and jam. it was heaven. The French know how to bake bread and this place was on top of it. Crispy on the outside and soft & spongy in the middle and it was served with room temperature butter so you won't end up destroying your loaf. I loved the jam and it also came with Nutella which was another plus. The server was fast and got everything down even though we had a language barrier. Oh my goodness...that quiche lorraine. It was beautiful. The eggs were soft still and the flavors beautiful. Okay I admit, I didn't order that, but the forkful I got will forever remain in my memory. I ordered the open faced tuna/hummus sandwich. It was beautifully done and the ingredients were so fresh. I also got a fresh orange juice with the bits. They seated us downstairs in a wine cafe like area - it was really awesome and much quieter than upstairs. I love the long wooden tables and it gives it a cozy feel. Glorious desserts and cakes...yummy speculoos butter...and...SPECULOOS CHOCOLATE BAR! It's very spicy (not hot, just..tastes like nutmeg and christmas) so probably not very everyone's taste buds. This restaurant was amazing. We needed a place that was open super early, as we were majorly jet lagged our first day in Paris, and awake and hungry at 5:00am. We walked in at 8:00am on a Saturday morning and were promptly greeted by the server. We have a picky 8-year-old son, so we needed to find a place with some basics that he would be sure to eat. Winner! They had a pretty big breakfast menu, and both simple and fancy dining options. Simple but very delicious food. Variety of baked and artesian pastries and vibrant and helpful staff. Our first breakfast in Paris and we already fell in love. The cafe ask for Covid pass immediately which makes us feel safe. I ordered the organic scrambled egg toast. Something simple but just amazing with the right amount chili oil and sea salt on the side. The texture of the crunchy bread and the soft scramble eggs and avocado just were amazing combination like fireworks in my mouth. The waitress struck conversation with us and went out her way to give us great shopping advices. She pointed out that a large shopping mall was near by which we can proceeded to empty our savings at. We visited this restaurant three times while in Paris! We absolutely loved this restaurant and it was close to our hotel. My husband loved the ham and cheese croissant and the Belgium waffle with bananas and chocolate was amazing. It had a nice crisp texture to it. I ordered the almond croissant which was so good. The almond paste inside was the perfect amount. It was not too sweet, just the right amount of sweetness. The service was amazing. We only speak English and everyone who interacted with us spoke English as well. They have English menus so we were able to order just fine. The first time we ate there, my husband got dizzy in the restaurant and they helped him by getting him water and checking on him. The staff was so kind. They treated us like family. This is my favourite address for Le Pain Quotidien in Paris. The ambience and deco-high ceilings with a glass roof makes all the difference. Other locations feel a bit claustrophobic in comparison. I have been at many different times, and never had to wait very long, (if at all!) for a table. Though, I would recommend going around 11.30 to be seated immediately. Service is good, dare I say 'friendly'? Take the 'Brunch Royal' if you're hungry and hungover ;) or the 'Raspberry Crunola' as a lighter breakfast. Their tartines are good too but a little pricey for what you get. This is the perfect place to linger over Sunday brunch in Paris. read more

Having tried le pain quotidien in the states, I wasnt really too thrilled when we didnt find space in the coffeeshops nearby and had to come here for brunch, but honestly I was pretty surprised. A lot of brunch options and everything was delicious. Would absolutely be back! read more

Cute cafe with delicious gluten-free bread!! We came twice for breakfast and loved it. We ordered scrambled eggs and hot tea. The eggs were fluffy and you get a baguette with them, but we also ordered a croissant and gluten-free toast with jam. The gluten-free bread is so fluffy and delicious. You couldn't tell it was gluten-free. This is something Paris does well! The cafe's atmosphere is similar to a coffee shop where you can bring your work/homework, and it's also large enough to accommodate larger parties. Great place! read more

Great location! Near the Rodin Museum and cool ambiance. We enjoyed our late lunch very much! I had the chicken and avocado tartine - super yummy! Our bread was wonderful and we enjoyed that they had cookie butter on the table as part of their standard condiments ; ) Coffee was good and their baked good selection was awesome (but we didn't get anything that day). I really do like this place. I have a lot of respect for consistency especially when it comes to organic food and good quality. The food is fine, it is not amazing - but you always know you will not be disappointed. They weren't amazing or anything, but this is a great place if you don't want a heavy lunch. We were full but were still able to function the rest of the day. When I feel like healthy, delicious food, I go to Le Pain Quotidien. There are 4 of them in Paris but the one in Varenne is my favorite. When you're only up at mid day in a weekend, you'd appreciate eating your brunch in a spacious, bright, relaxing dining room, where you can slowly charge up your body. Brunch here is to die for; Egg, great bread, pain au chocolat, big salad, granola+yoghurt, coffee and fresh fruit juice (all for 22euro). Food is really great a lot of good and healthy options. The only problem is a lot of the waiters and waitresses are very nice but on a power trip. This place is great for a healthy brunch. I had the Marais salad and it was delicious, though I was disappointed that they ran out of Blue Cheese. My boyfriend had the detox with quinoa and it was really good too. We topped it off with the lemon and mint detox juice which was really good. Worst servers ever. We had to ask for our bread 3 times only to receive a plate of cold toast. We only ordered one serving but were charged for 2. We will never return to this location because Amadou - our server - can't do his job and has now done the same thing twice.
