Oh my goodness...that quiche lorraine. It was beautiful. The eggs were soft still and the flavors beautiful. Okay I admit, I didn't order that, but the forkful I got will forever remain in my memory. I ordered the open faced tuna/hummus sandwich. It was beautifully done and the ingredients were so fresh. I also got a fresh orange juice with the bits. They seated us downstairs in a wine cafe like area - it was really awesome and much quieter than upstairs. I love the long wooden tables and it gives it a cozy feel. Glorious desserts and cakes...yummy speculoos butter...and...SPECULOOS CHOCOLATE BAR! It's very spicy (not hot, just..tastes like nutmeg and christmas) so probably not very everyone's taste buds. Finally...that brownie. Yes. Just...just do it.

We visited this restaurant three times while in Paris! We absolutely loved this restaurant and it was close to our hotel. My husband loved the ham and cheese croissant and the Belgium waffle with bananas and chocolate was amazing. It had a nice crisp texture to it. I ordered the almond croissant which was so good. The almond paste inside was the perfect amount. It was not too sweet, just the right amount of sweetness. The service was amazing. We only speak English and everyone who interacted with us spoke English as well. They have English menus so we were able to order just fine. The first time we ate there, my husband got dizzy in the restaurant and they helped him by getting him water and checking on him. The staff was so kind. They treated us like family. They even made him a special tea to help. We were so amazed by their kindness that we went there two more times. One to dine in and another to order to go. Thank you!

There are many time in Paris that you crave a healthy breakfast and Le Pain was just that. We had the avocado, cucumber, Chives, and chicken on toast . Two pieces to fill you up. The orange was fresh but no refilled.

Having tried le pain quotidien in the states, I wasnt really too thrilled when we didnt find space in the coffeeshops nearby and had to come here for brunch, but honestly I was pretty surprised. A lot of brunch options and everything was delicious. Would absolutely be back!

My day starts from here with croissant, pain basket, orange juice and café au lait in the morning.

Delicious scrambled eggs with gluten-free toast, croissant, baguette and hot tea. Yum!

Cute cafe with delicious gluten-free bread!! We came twice for breakfast and loved it. We ordered scrambled eggs and hot tea. The eggs were fluffy and you get a baguette with them, but we also ordered a croissant and gluten-free toast with jam. The gluten-free bread is so fluffy and delicious. You couldn't tell it was gluten-free. This is something Paris does well! The cafe's atmosphere is similar to a coffee shop where you can bring your work/homework, and it's also large enough to accommodate larger parties. Great place!

The food is excellent. The staff is friendly and the bread is to die for. Great for eating there or to go.

Sadly, the baguette was kind of mushy and not crispy. I did not enjoy the flavor compared to the other ones I've had in the neighborhood. I really wanted to love it... since I noticed several people walking down the street eating a baguette from here with the Merci Jerome bag in hand. Frankly, it was not my favorite and I ditched it after only one bite.

The croque monsieur had a generous pile of gruyère melted on the sides of the bread with a proportional amount of meat and filling on the inside. With the croque monsieur warmed up, it made a perfect brunch meal with the ube latte. The ube latte is exactly what you would expect but crafted carefully. I would just go back for this delightfully warm concoction in the morning. The service to go along with this made this experience more pleasant as it seems most of the employees were filipinos. They were quick to receive you and leave you beyond satisfied. The shop exudes the classic parisian aesthetic that most people would romanticize and I am glad I experienced it. I would come back for the pleasant experience - try out Merci Jérôme!

I had a mimosa also which was 20 euros (too much). There is a long wait for a table at Carette as it's become very popular thanks to Tik Tok and IG. We stood in light for about 30 minutes. The staff does a great job of keeping things moving as quickly as possible, but they can only do so much as people are relaxed while enjoying their hot chocolate and treats. We noticed several tables around us getting strawberries and cream which looked amanzing but the price of this was not listed anywhere in the menu so we opted to not be sticker shocked any further (a-hem 20 euros for one glass of mimosa). Ultimately, Carette offers delicious hot chocolate and it's great to say that you went there, but I can't imagine having hot chocolate in 90 degree farenheit weather outside, after standing in line for 30 minutes, but do you boo! The owner is straight forward to warn larger groups of the small tight spaces up top and wards off any NBA players without helmets as their is low clearance upstairs. The menu is all French and limited English by the servers but it's easy enough to navigate. We came with 5 for Sunday brunch and sat right away but one had to sort of share space at the table. We ordered mixes of omelettes and Benedicts. All came with nice small whole potatoes and a little sour cream. You can modify or add quite a bit. Eggs are your choice of style ultimately and apparently the brunch includes pancakes. We were confused by that and they come after you've eaten the other items. I'm not sure if we paid for that or not but we chose to move on without. It came with your choice of tea or coffee AND a small orange juice. The eggs were cooked very delicately and moist with cheese and good meat in the omelette. Overall it was a fine breakfast compared to croissants and coffee but a little expensive.
