    Avocado toast

They had a nice variety of options here, with a bend towards healthy stuff. They even had some fun juices on the menu--not that they had it all in stock, but it was nice to see the variety of drinks here that were different than so many other cafes. This is one of the few places that had entree size salads on offer, avocado toast and lots of brunch type items. The place was packed and it looked like a number of locals got takeaway. Sitting outside was a little disconcerting, because even though the patio is covered, on a super windy day, it really felt like the little roof was going to blow away. A staff member came out with some saran wrap and used that to somewhat tie down or anchor the roof to the walls of the temporary shelter. On a not so windy day, I'm sure it wouldn't be anxiety producing.

We went twice for breakfast while we were in Paris- a very nice little cafe with some authentic French pastries! As an Australian I was really looking forward to authentic croissants and I was not let down. I also had porridge one morning which was quite small but very tasty. The coffee was luke warm and even though I asked for a latte I was given what seemed to be a cappuccino without the chocolate on top. Not sure if that is how lattes usually are in Paris but either way it was a very week coffee, and basically tasted like frothed milk. Still nice though not what I asked for.

What I like about this chain is how attentive they are and how welcome I am made to feel no matter which of their locations I visit.

Little cafe that opens up pretty early if you are an early bird. Simple and quick place to grab a coffee and small breakfast.

Great food. Wonderful atmosphere. Gluten-free options that are just as good as the main menu.

Sat there for 15 minutes and got ignored, not even a "we'll be right with you" or anything. Pretty disappointed with y'all right now.

The gluten free bread is amongst the best I've tasted anywhere and comes as a generous serving size with a variety of spreads (jams and Nutella) when ordered as toast.

Another great boulangerie. This place is slightly larger than the one down the street with a…read moreslightly wider selection. It gets a cheaper rating but I thought the prices were very comparable to the other boulangeries in the neighborhood.Again they had great croissants (I tried them at every boulangerie we visited) and their large macaron "sandwiches" were also delicious (although not my MOST favorite of the ones we tried in Paris). This place was also just a few steps from our apartment so we visited it a lot as well. None of the women that served us during the week spoke English but again, you don't need much in a boulangerie. The service was always friendly and efficient. Often this place was busy but service was quick. No outdoor seating, and they were open until 8pm which was awesome. Later in the day you'll find that pastries and bread are not as fresh but even though we got macaron "sandwiches" at 7pm and they seemed a little damp from the fresh fruit in them, the taste was delicious. The outer shells of the macarons were slightly tough but the overall texture wasn't bad. the berries (we tried frambriose and fraise, or raspberry and strawberry) were incredibly fresh and tasty. I'm sure if we had purchased them earlier in the day they would have been even better. We also had the coffee eclairs and they were amazing!!! I don't care that much for eclairs as I do no like the type of bread used for them, but these were good enough that I'd get them again. The filling was rich and the coffee taste was outstanding.
