I came with my sister. We were visiting from Denmark and decided to freshen up our hair as part of our vacation. When I came I had pixie cut with top length bleached and the rest was my natural dark blonde. I discussed the choice of hair colour with the only person who could speak English and she was translating to the rest of her colleagues. They suggested to bleach my hair completely for even colour effect. I agreed and so they proceeded. They applied bleach heavily on my hair and scalp and to my surprise left it on for about hour and half. I wasn't informed how long I was supposed to have it on my head or anything. They simply sometimes came and checked the processing so I trusted them as professionals. After about 2h they finally decided to wash it off and afterwards shampooed my hair. I was not told anything they were doing but they mentioned toning before so that's what I thought they were doing. Much to my surprise they applied bleach again. Left for some time (I have no idea how long I was not told anything) and came back to wash my hair again. Applied bleach again. This repeated for around 3-4 times. I was not told anything. Afterwards they washed it off, shampooed my hair again and I don't recall them applying any conditioning treatment or anything of that sort. I got up from the chair and freaked out at the look of my hair in the mirror. It was yellow, incredibly, badly looking yellow. I thought they would maybe finally tone my hair but they started blow drying it instead. I told them I don't like the yellow at all. They tried to convince me it's not yellow despite of me hearing them speaking in Spanish mentioning yellow over and over again. After I expressed my dislike for the chicken yellow hair they put me in the chair with the sink again. Again I wasn't told what they were doing at all. They informed me afterwards they applied bleach again! They left me there until I started complaining because it was burning my scalp. At last they washed it off and applied silver shampoo or something of that sort about three times on my head. Blow drying followed and yet again, my hair was yellow. As the hair dried my scalp felt incredibly sore and dry. I felt like my entire face was pulled backwards and my hair felt awfully dry and paper like. I complained about it but they said it was normal and also said my hair is healthy because they used ola - plex. Now, I know that's supposed to somewhat protect your hair but my hair didn't feel healthy at all! It was like bad bad bad dry grass or whatever. They did not listen to my complains claiming everything is perfect. Behind my back they were talking in Spanish about how it will look good on the photos on their website once they apply filters. I left feeling regretful and uncomfortable. After few minutes of just walking my scalp became unbearably sore. It was painful, hot, burning and just the worst experience. We came back and all they suggested was applying another shampoo!!! We refused and asked them politely to return my money as I paid 135€ for basically burning my scalp and hair. They refused and said the job is well done. Overall... The worst experience ever. Spent almost 5 hours in there and left with PTSD and burns. This experience will make me not go to any hair salon for very long time. First, despite the advertisement that this is an English speaking salon, it is not, for the most part. There are some employees that speak English but some speak only a few sentences. I could handle that. After all, I'm in Spain so I should not expect people to speak English to me. It definitely makes it an easier experience though. My first visit to the salon was fine. I had highlights done by Eva and she did a very nice job. I liked the color and I was a happy customer. I was looking forward to going back. My second visit was the complete opposite. When I first arrived for my appointment I was told that there was no water, so they had rescheduled me for 4 hours later when it would be fixed. Nobody had called me ahead of time. I said I couldn't come back in 4 hours and they acted very annoyed and kept saying they had already scheduled me for later that day. Another customer stepped in and explained to them that I could not come back later. I rescheduled for a couple days later when Eva was available. When I arrived, the woman behind the desk showed me to a chair and Eva came over and they spoke in Spanish to one another. A few minutes later the receptionist came back with color mixed and began working on my hair. Eva took another client sitting across the salon and never came back. I should have stopped the person then and left, but I didn't. She was extremely rough with my hair and kept telling me to look forward (in Spanish) and I kept trying to tell her that I couldn't because was pulling my head back too hard. She also kept talking to coworkers about things that needed to be done in the salon (maybe she was the manager?). Once she stabbed me in the cheek with her comb while talking. Another time she caught my earring and nearly pulled it out of my ear. Later she poured water across my eyes while rinsing my color out. I almost lost my contact lenses. When she finished applying my color, she went back to the front desk and after what seemed like a very long time took me to wash my color out. I could tell by the look on her face that it was not good. She then put toner on my hair and left me at the sink for "5 minutes" but it was closer to 30 (I was wearing a watch and kept checking it). She was busy talking to one of the other employees about what products needed to be restocked. In the end, my hair looked like straw and all of the finer hairs around my face broke off. My color was very dull and the blonde highlights are very coarse and limp. My husband even commented the next day that my hair looked "damaged" (and he rarely comments on anything like that). It continued to break off for a week and still feels like straw. I can't do anything to fix it until it grows out a bit because my friend from home that is a colorist told me that it will just break off more if I try to get my roots redone soon. It has been 6 weeks so that's a huge bummer. read more

Overall, I left with the same hair as I came just more lack luster I had dark roots (my natural color) and vividly bright orange lengths. The Roots got died dark brown for unknown reasons to me. I am natural brunette. The last thing I want is to have my hair died brown... the lengths were supposed to be colored orange again since the color there was mostly due to the mask I have at home. The mask lasts about 20 washes before it needs reapplying (I used it week before I went to Barcelona so it was fresh) However, my request was ignored and they just washed off almost all color from mask with shampoo... What's more it took ages to die my hair even tho I have relatively short hair cut. Also, the application took 1 hour and I was left with it on my head for another hour...overall I spent 4 hours at the salon and left with more washed out colour than when I came. read more

Visiting Barcelona from Denver and stopped in this salon for a much needed highlight and trim. I could not be more pleased with my experience. Color and cut were perfect and exactly what I asked for - also got a manicure that was very good. Everyone was really nice and patient. I would definitely recommend going here. read more

I am surprised there are not enough reviews for such an amazing service. I just found the salon on Yelp, and called to set an appointment.The lady on the phone was extremely accommodating. I requested an immediate appointment for a blow dry and she was very helpful. At my arrival I was greeted by Ana, a friendly young lady with a very warm smile. Diana did my hair and I couldn't have been happier with the blow dry. I am very particular about how I want my hair to look when I go to a salon, and Diana is a real hair expert!
