Was walking around looking for a spot to grab a quick sandwich and a drink, and ran into Le Rosco.
Didn't know anything about this spot, however, ended up staying for nearly 4hrs. Cute little bistro that has coffee, wine, beer, and bites to eat.
A mom and pop Brasserie, along with their daughter, have a great location for good wine and ham & cheese sandwich. They did have a cheese plate available, as well as a charcuterie plate for sharing, but our party of three chose sandwiches.
Bread was a typical french baguette, options were to include (spicy) mustard, and/or butter. Any decision you make, would be a good choice. I truly wish I would have taken pictures of the food and wine, but the atmosphere really made our time fly by.
The daughter (can't remember her name) speaks English well. The dad doesn't know any English, but if I recall, he does speak Italian and French. Mom wasn't around during our visit, but I'm sure she's just as outgoing as dad and daughter.
The only bad thing I would mention about this place is it's located right on a corner, and appears to be a favorable spot for some late teens/early 20-somethings to gather outside and carry on loudly.....however, they kept to themselves, and truly didn't hinder the experience of enjoying the wine and food.
Also, since this place is a little smaller, currently no Wifi.....but who knows, maybe if they get more patrons and continue being their friendly selves, Wifi may be a possibility for the future?!!
I would definitely stop back at this location if given the chance, not only because of the atmosphere, but because of the relatively good prices on the beverages and food.
Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower (10mins), and a little longer walk to the Arc de Triumph (30mins). Check this place out!!! read more
