This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. Our family of four visited this location last week during spring break travel. Compared to some of the other meals that we had unfortunately this location missed the Mark. The menu items were fairly limited with no real good options for the kids. Additionally, the interior of the space is pretty small so we sat on the outdoor patio, which typically would be fun, but it just happened that there were a huge number of trash trucks going back-and-forth and servicing the trash cans. I realize the restaurant had nothing to do with this, but it was pretty gross to have trash being serviced next to

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Portion to Price: 4/5 Overall: A very good experience. I'd come back The extended review... Food: Cassoulet - 4/5 - This was phenomenal. Portion size was amazing and I didn't walk out hungry. A very tasty dish and full of protein. Roasted Lamb - 3/5 - Pretty standard fare. Service: 4/5 - Friendly service. Ambiance: 4/5 - It's a bit tight but overall a nice experience. Portion to Price: 4/5 - Decent portion sizes and enough to leave your belly full.

Cute little restaurant! I'm glad we stopped here. I got the escargot. There were some rocks in two of them... it really surprised me as I bit into the snail. The steak tartare was the best out of the two we tried in two different restaurants. It had a good mouth feel. The waiter was nice as well, patiently explaining the specials of the day that were written in French. They also brought out bread and saucisson. The bread was perfect to dip into the butter from the escargot.

We had a wonderful experience for dinner at La Fontaine. NOTE: reservations are necessary! We did not have a reservation and arrived the minute they opened hoping to get in - we did not get a table inside the restaurant as they were 100% booked but were able to get a table on the heated patio. When we checked for reservations, there weren't any available for about a month out. The food selection we had was fantastic, and we enjoyed their house wine. Our waiter on the patio was friendly, made great recommendations, and was very attentive. We enjoyed an appetizer off the specials - a gnocchi and scallops dish - that was delicious. The steak frites were good but nothing beyond typical frites, however the chicken special we tried was fantastic and flavorful.

Ate here back in '97! Had a steak with Roquefort cheese on top & it was heavenly. Glad to see it's still thriving.

We were here 33 years ago. Just stumbled into the place. This time we intentionally came here to relive old memories. So nice to find the same place same ambiance. Nothing had changed. Our server was excellent. Helped us with the menu. Spoke English in that delightful French accent. The food was amazing as we remembered it. Ordered the duck again. So tasty. Very glad we came back.

If you are planning on touring around the Eiffel Tower and are looking for authentic French cuisine, look no further... The inside is very inviting and is marvelously decorated. The menu is delightfully elegant with many different French dishes. The restaurant offers daily specials as well . For appetizers I tried the Country ham prosciutto platter , the prosciutto is sliced with a very specific meat slicer that is located on the lower level of the restaurant. The slices were razor thin. I also tried Wild Snails of Burgundy. Simply amazing! For a main course I recommend the Grand Cassoluet special . A meaty stew of poultry, sausage, pork, and beans. The presentation was incredible. It was so tasty, filling and delicious. This dish was my favorite meal of my trip to France. Dessert I recommend is the Millefeuille - hazelnut, praline and whipped cream served in an ice cream type dish. Heaven just Heaven!! The service here was impressive. Our waiter could not have been more You MUST make a reservation.

This one of the recommendations we found in You Tube that is relatively near the Eiffel Tower (10 mins walk). They have inside and outside seating. In Paris, outside seating is the better option. Staff were friendly and spoke English that made things easy. We started with a dozen escargot. You can order 6 if you want. They were very fresh and already removed from the shell. Very delicious. We dipped the bread on the pesto and oil after. It was that good! We ordered spinach as a side as we wanted some vegetables after eating a lot of food. Paris don't seem to have many vegetable options aside from salad. I ordered the Duck Confit as this is one of their specialties. Outside was crispy and inside was juicy. It comes with baby potatoes and side of greens. I was not sure what to expect. It was well seasoned and delicious. I would order it again. We ended our meal with some ice cream and sorbet combination to cleanse our palate. Perfect way to end our meal. Highly recommend trying them out! We will visit again next time and try their other dishes.

Highly recommend reservations, beautiful cozy ambiance! Every dish amazing and delicious, a must try when in Paris! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful not only with navigating the menu, but when we left our apartment keys they went out of there way to find them and hold them safetly upon our return!

The host accommodated us by phone for same day during peak hour and was so nice to do so since they are packed all hours even to the last hour. We are grateful for that. The French food here is amazing! They provide complementary bread, gherkins & even cured meat! Pate is a must here! It's so well made. Potato gratin was delicious. Beef tartare was the special of the day and was on point. Duck confit was solid. Service was fantastic. Their toilet area is very antique and I adore the pour of the hand soap dispenser. When we return to Paris, I'll most definitely return to this lovely gem!

Top of my Paris Bucket List and 2nd dinner of the trip. It did not disappoint. It's in the Champ de Mars area near the Eiffel Tower and is the quintessential French restaurant. The restaurant feels classic French with red and white table cloths and servers neatly dressed in suits and well-tailored uniforms. The service is very friendly and helpful with both French and English menus and servers. The food comes out relatively quick, but they give you a lot of time to enjoy the meal and socialize. We ordered both a classic Coq Au Vin and the daily special cassoulet with white beans and 3 sausages. One of my favorite meals for both the ambiance and delicious food.

We finally found the French restaurant that we were looking for. The setting and ambiance were excellent. We had a great outdoor table. The waitstaff were extremely friendly and helpful, without a whiff of attitude. We were started off with bread, salami and butter. The carafes of house wine were great. The waitstaff made excellent recommendations. For appetizers, we ordered burrata, stewed leeks (different, but good) and excellent pate, served with a big crock of cornichons on the side. Our friend got the last order of excellent coq au vin. My wife had chicken with morel sauce, which is her favorite main dish in Paris to date. My buddy had sea bass, which he loved. I had excellent duck confit. We finished our meal with express baba au rhum and awesome crime brûlée. This is an awesome place to spend an evening enjoying great French food and hospitality. Our concierge gave us two thumbs up for dining here. Highly recommended.

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

First, the cheese failed to emit the baked, melted gruyere cheese, there is no aroma at all. I don't think they used gruyere cheese. May be mozzarella cheese. The worst part was the bread in the soup. It tasted stale which ruin the flavor of the soup. I had to finish without the bread. Escargot - Another disappointment. What made escargots special was the garlic butter and herb. Here, there were the herbs, no garlic, and French is famous with their butter but I taste oil but not buttery. Other places I actually get excited dipping the bread into the garlic butter but not here. Pan seared Foie gras - The quality of Foie Gras was definitely there. It's not as well seared as I hope but they managed to cook it through without overcooking it. The size of Foie Gras is kind of scary, it's like a small piece of rib eye steak. With just the onion soup and Foie Gras, I could barely swallow anything. Generous portion.

I had the cucumber salad appetizer, which was so fresh. My husband ordered the ravioli appetizer--tiny little rectangles in a scrumptious sauce--a work of art. I ordered the fish and shrimp plate. The sauce was amazing and it was a huge portion of tender white fish. My husband had the lamb with frites. It was nicely seasoned & perfectly done. For dessert, my husband enjoyed a chocolate treat and I had refreshing raspberry sorbet. Deborah was so friendly and solicitous throughout the meal. I have never felt so well taken care of. The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged.
