Me and a buddy spent a few days in Vence and dined a lot while we were here. Had several foie gras throughout the week and this place (although the foie gras itself is the same as the other restaurants) garnished it with very nice fruit and some greens. Paired well with the foie gras, making it not to rich and fatty. Totally recommend the beef fillet. Nice and juicy. And with a nice bottle of bourdeux, the beef just melts in your mouth. Depending on the time of year, the mosquitoes do become an annoyance if you're eating out in the patio while enjoying the views, so bring some bug spray (just in case).

I noticed that, for my American palette, the dishes were under salted, but they provided this wonderful herb salt with the main course that added a more luscious flavor to the steak I ordered. The avocado salad was simply amazing; the best dish I've had so far in France on this trip. Service was a bit rushed as the server seemed somewhat impatient with our bad French, but I can understand as they seemed to be understaffed. So we stopped there 3 days in a row after sightseeing. The draft beers (pression) were great, the wine was great, the people were nice as can be. We were the only non-locals there which is nice. And we had an amazing cheese and charcuterie board that was the best deal we found in France. This is not a tourist place, just a very charming little bar.

Tables squeezed next to each other with very little space in between. One unisex restroom. I did not use it, as our hotel was very close. I washed my hands at the hotel before coming here.
