Wow! Where do I begin. The ride cost $70 from royal oak to the airport. That is a pretty good deal…read moresince a typical airport taxi will cost $60. For an extra $10 they provide a black Lincoln and free water on board. However, the driver blasted his iPod while we were driving and at speeds near 90 miles an hour. I was terrified and could not find the luxury in the experience. Afterwards, I gave a low tip ($5) and went on my way. However, I driver called me immediately and followed by his supervisor. They threaten to charge my credit card for the full gratuity (min of 20%) if I did not give an explanation for my low tip. I was appalled and in the middle of checking in, had to give an explanation and was not charged the full gratuity. Would not recommend them to anyone and will continue to use metro taxi instead.
