We were driving east across pyrenees and delayed 2 days in order to eat here. We arrived at 1pm and opted for the surprise menu with a wine pairing. We finished at 4 and took a hike above town and napped in the grass with a view. Absolutely everything was spectacular and the price is a bargain, id guess price is 1/5 to 1/7 of what food like this would cost in a big city, and even then youll be lucky to receive food this good. The paired wine was awesome too. Er occitan is a marvel - my words cant do it justice, i cant recommend it enough. Well worth the time. In my experience restaurants like this dont last forever, visit soon. Also: to the dear folks at er Occitan if you find this: it is impossible for you to receive enough credit and appreciation so thank you! Thank you so much for the amazing meal. Sounds ridiculous I know but put it like this,self and husband are vegi- but not picky. If there's something someone says we should try once we'll try it. He always has, with out fail , than cannoli. Why? Because it's amazing, not because there's not other choices, simply because it's so good he has to have it. We been so many times with friends with difficult/restrictive diets and they helps us out every time. Everything is excellent from the look of the place, to the friendly welcoming staff to the food. If you were born in Sabadell and you are 40+ then you have had, for sure, more than a date here…read more This (used to be) humble restaurant where young people in the 80s used to go for their hotdog and a coke or a beer has become something bigger, but has catered multiple generations and is still strong in the downtown area in this city. This is the first one of what became a big chain with several restaurants expanding to other cities. The service is always fast and friendly and the prices are still affordable, plus there is much more variety in the offerings. A must try when in town, just so close to the Town Hall.
