This was the second time I scheduled pedicures at this salon for me and my daughters. We made reservations for pre vacation spa pedicures. We arrived 10 minutes early for our appointment and were immediately rushed to pick our polish and to our seats. One of my daughters was told she could not have a spa pedi despite our reservations because the nail tech had another appointment. We didn't complain we just accepted it and moved on. Our appointment was on a Sunday and the following Saturday we were leaving for vacation. After just four days one of my toes lost the polish, not a chip, the entire toe. We are now 3 days into our vacation, 10 days since my pedicure and I have only one toe on my left foot that is holding the gel polish. Since it's gel, I cannot remove the remaining polish and do not have easy access to a salon where I am in Mexico and all of my shoes are some sort of open toe sandal. It looks ridiculous! I would not recommend this salon as they clearly prioritize quantity over quality. read more

I went there a few times and it was good but the last time I went for a pedicure the women basically soaked my feet and changed my nail polish. Did not even file or exfoliate anything. Thought maybe it was just the lady so went back on Wednesday for gel manicure and within two days my thumb gel was gone and with in four days another nail gel just came right off. I have never had a gel manicure that did that. I will never go back and do not recommend!!! read more

I have always come to this place to get my nails done and they've been pretty good and would last around a month. I would always get them done right before vacation, they would hold out through sports, swimming, etc. Not this time, I went to the salon and got them done by Anne. She was rude and threw my hands around, less then a week and there already falling off. She didn't drill them all down and they are very uneven. I have been coming to get my nails done here for 5 + years with my best friend Christina every 2 -3 weeks, I have never been disappointed in the service that we received. I have been to almost every nail tech and has always walked away satisfied with my nail experience. From getting my bachorette nails done by Laura to my wedding nails done my Kayla I just know they always put love and patience into everything they do. I give Kudos to owners Deb and Phil for always making myself and Christina feel welcomed and many others by greeting us when we walk in BY NAME. I have had many great experiences here but most recently having to bring my seven month old baby girl with me to my nail appointment and her getting fussy halfway through and Deb going out of her way to hold and cuddle my baby girl while I still got my nails done. The salon is very spacious, the staff is very nice. Everyone does such a good job at catering to the patrons. There's so many pedicure chairs, a nail bar, and a space just for lashes and brows. There's a wide variety of pedicure options, nail extensions, and color selection! Make sure you come in early to get things done quickly and efficiently. I let them know I recently lost my daughter and that this Is my first Mother's Day without her. the woman then says that's my personal business and proceeds to let the man speak rudely to me. He then snatches the pen out of my hand that they have for customers. Telling me it's expensive and I can't have a pen. They are only for customers he said. Which I was waiting to be a customer like he suggested to wait in case someone canceled. Proceeds to snatch a pen from my hand....This morning was truly a test and also let me know where not to spend my money. The way they speak people in here is in sane. Of course I was the only black girl there and they were waiting for me to turn up. I handled it with grace,I even noticed a little shade when I first came here a little over a month ago but wasn't sure if it was just my way of thinking and comfort level. It all pans out. Deb must have heard how unhappy I was with my nails, and took my appointment herself, she did a wonderful job correcting what I felt was wrong, and I've been going there ever since. Every nail tech there is talented and does a great job, and everyone is so friendly. NOTE: this place is very busy so make an appointment! I feel like I need to address a recurring complaint and that "the man at the counter is rude." I think his business is getting confused for rudeness. I've always felt welcome. Scam! Went in with a friend and we got the same shape, although she got a full set and I got a refill. We got charged the same price, and when I questioned why I got charged for a full set instead of a refill they said it was because I got an almond shape and mine were longer than hers (they didn't even put new tips on it was JUST a refill so not sure how length matters here and I got the same length I had before) AND my friend also got almond shape? And when I came in my original nails were already polish free, and were almond shape, so If anything it was less steps for them. I've never experienced being overcharged for reasons like this. read more

I have a primary nailery that I prefer but Hot Nails is my secondary choice if my nail tech isn't available at the other place. This establishment is very clean and the owner will walk around offering a glass of wine to guests that accept his offer. Yes, please! I have seen Amy on more than a few occasions and consider her my preferred nail tech. She is a master of creating the perfect almond shape that I have been wearing for the past year. Hot Nails prices are reasonable and typical for the surrounding area. They are open Monday through Saturday. This shop is ALWAYS a full house, so I highly recommend to book an appointment otherwise you run the risk of waiting a long time even during weekdays. read more

They do great work here. I was reluctant to go to a nail salon during COVID but they have plexiglass up between the nail techs and clients as well as between clients in the chairs. I've gotten multiple refills here since October, from a different nail tech each time, and each refill has been consistently gorgeous. The gel polish doesn't peel or chip. I usually bring a reference photo if I want a specific design and let the techs work their magic. They're definitely on the pricier side, but I fork it over each time because I know my nails are pretty will hold up until I come back for my next fill. read more

I made an appointment on a Wednesday for 6:30, days in advanced. When I get there they are busy and I have to wait. After 20 minutes I ask the man how much longer, he says well we are busy. Since at this point it is too late to go anywhere (everywhere closes at 7) I continue to wait. After 45 minutes they finally take me. The employees are rude and do not care about your time. Your standard nail polish won't last long though, so be prepared to go again in two weeks. When I arrived the man at the front desk told me to sit and wait and that they were busy. I let him know I had an appointment. He told me again they were busy and when I askEd how long he expected my wait to be he said "I don't know. We are busy. Maybe 30 or more minutes." He was very nonchalant, no apology whatsoever. I decided to take my 4 and 6 year old daughters for a mani/pedi today to celebrate my birthday. The experience was great from a nail salon and tech perspective. It got a bit stressful when my kids were done before me and their (my kids') patience began to run out. My fault though, I should have expected that and planned better for it. The techs made sure my kids were comfortable (with some big soft back pillows), added cute flowers to their nail design and even when my older daughter smudged both her big toes because she was moving around during the drying process, they went back and fixed them. Overall great experience. Will come back for relaxing pedicure - next time with my girls getting the warm water treatment too. :) read more

Came here last night and am a little conflicted. I reallllyyy needed my nails done and being new the the area i legit was wondering which one to go to in the lansdale area cus there's literally 50. I picked this place out and just went for it w no appointment. I was seen about 20 mins in which i totally didn't mind since i had no appointment. Once i was seen this lady went to TOWN on my current gel that i had that needed to be removed. She was so fast but did not scratch my skin... amazing. Then she left and i sat there for like 15 mins wondering what's going on lol cus she just bounced without sayin anything and this lady was fast she was doing like 50 things at one time. While i was waiting they were askin everyone if they wanted wine and i was like wow that's cool. Then some other nail tech came she was super nice and calm, i can tell she really was taking her time and i love how gentle she was. I was taken aback a little because she took my gel off my using her own finger nails? I've never seen that before she did a pretty good job tho. Kinda weird tho, not gonna lie. The shape of my nail is really cute but one hand is deff a lot longer than my other hand and the polish....it could be a lot better. There's a swipe of random glitter on one hand and there's couple nails where there's no top coat at all, i tried to tell her but there's a language barrier which is fine. I liked my overall experience but my nails could look a lot better. Would i be back based on how i look at my nails now? Maybe. The dip powder itself is uneven and discolored (thumb nail) All nails on one hand are shorter than the other... I have to go get these re done somewhere else. Today was my first visit to Hot Nails but it definitely won't be my last! There was almost no wait for an acrylic refill and gel manicure. Linda did an absolutely amazing job on my nails! I have hitchhiker's thumb and I find that my thumb nails are almost always crooked after I've gotten my nails done, but Linda was diligent and made sure that my nails were the perfect length and shape. She also helped me find a color that wasn't as transparent as the one I'd chosen and gave me multiple similar options to choose from.
