Wow! Marcia gave me an amazing gel extension using OPI bubble bath!! I am trying on engagement rings and told her that, and she did an amazing job! Also the salon is so cute, this is my first time going. All of the nail techs were wearing matching reindeer antler barrettes which were so cute thank you Marcia. Typically I am self conscious and think my nails are ugly but now I can try on rings and be proud of my hands

[[HIGHLIGHT]]2nd tech was rude, the whole time spoke to other tech in native language.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then 3rd tech comes, abruptly moves me while hands under curing light. Didn't want to give even one star. Was looking for a place near my work as a back up because my regular nail girl reduced her hours. I decided to get gel to keep it simple since this was my first time at the salon. I had dip on my nails, charged me an additional $10 to soak it off which consisted of soaking my fingers in a baggie of remover. Talk about extra drying to your hands! The service was fine, but literally the next day, four of my nails were chipped on the sides and each day, add another. I've had to clip nearly all of them all down because they were so jagged from the cracks, they were catching on everything .. it's been a little over a week and they're a mess! I don't know if it was just poor gel coverage, bad filing or what but I didn't even want to waste my time going back because I didn't want them to touch my nails again. Thank goodness I didn't get a pedicure as well. I saw all the great reviews, which is why I picked them, but everyone should be good at a salon, not just a select few. So I paid 50 bucks and my nails were chipped and a total a mess by the weekend. read more

This is my 1st time coming here, I absolutely over this nail salon. They did an amazing job for my last minute request. The salon is super clean, the staff are extremely helpful when you are unsure of what color to choose they really impressed me. I will definitely come back, I have a wedding Friday and you all know how it is to try a new nail salon and you want them to look good. I have nothing bad to say about this salon, only that they did an awesome job! Thank you so much for my beautiful nails, I got dip and extended the length. I also got a quick pedicure. This place was great initially. I was so dissatisfied the last two times I was there. After the most recent encounter, I will not return. I am suspecting the poor service was since the owner was not there. My gels were removed without soaking only with filing and the electric roller thing. I was picking out my gel color and thought she was just removing the top layer. When I asked, what happened she shrugged. I then asked for my nails to me cut shorter (since she had not asked what I wanted) and she immediately started speaking in another language to the lady doing my pedicure. I was so frustrated and immediately said is there a problem? Removing gels without soaking is just careless. Clearly they do not care about my nails. read more

I used to frequent this salon between 2010-2020 before I moved out of the area. I've recently returned & desperately needed a gel manicure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called for an appointment, and when I arrived, I picked my color, but the nail tech I was assigned to could not find the color I selected on her own, she required assistance from one of the other employees.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was the first red flag. I then asked her to trim my natural nails, but that I would like to preserve as much length as possible. She then begins to hack away at my right hand, trimming my nails all the way down to the skin. By the time I noticed, it was really too late to say anything to her about it. Then when she gets to my left hand, she chops down HARD on the clippers, and cuts deep into the nail bed of my left thumb. I instantly screamed, I couldn't even hold it back. I started bleeding, and then SHE CONTINUED TO CUT MY NAIL!!!! Did not say sorry or acknowledge the situation or give me an opportunity to rinse the blood off my thumb!!!! SHE KEPT CUTTING THE NAIL ?!?!?!? I told her to stop and went to rinse my hand. I should have left after that, because the rest of the appointment took an hour. I was in the salon for 90 minutes for JUST A GEL MANICURE. She wasn't even really taking her time or paying attention to detail, she was just truly that slow. She only did two coats of polish, which is fine in most cases, but I am sitting here not even two weeks later and EVERY nail is chipped or ALL of the polish has come off the nail. Not to mention, my nails are also splitting & I am constantly having hang nails to trim. I was not fond of the way she removed my old polish. I personally prefer to have the gel soaked off, but she filed off all of my old gel polish using the electric filing tool, and I believe this may be the reason my nails are breaking, even though she cut them SO short. WORST $35 I HAVE EVER spent in my life. I will never go back & I am EXTREMELY disappointed, as this was a salon I used to feel I could rely on. read more

I have been coming here for the past 2 years. Never had a problem. After my last visit, not only was my hand bruised from how rough they were, but my pinky nail is also BLUE. I was pulled and tugged around. I was in shock because I never got anything less than 5 star treatment here. I really felt like I did something to them to piss them off. They also laughed at me when I made a recommendation on how I want MY nails. I was there for almost two hours. Like i said, before this visit they were my go-to nail salon. After last visit, I will not be returning or referring anyone. I hope whoever did my nails was just having an off day. read more

I came here in the middle of the week, I made sure to call before heading over just to make sure they had time for a pedicure. I have never had a better experience. I got the best and longest leg massage ever. And then when I went to sit at the drying station I got another great shoulder massage. My gel pedicure is still going strong after two weeks! I would defiantly recommend this place to everyone and will most definitely be coming back here for future mani and pedis. read more

I went there to try a different nail salon (college student looking for a good price) and I was happy with my visit. The girl that did my manicure was friendly and precise so my nails look really great! I told them that it was my first visit and they gave me a complementary eyebrow wax which was cool! It's a small but quaint salon. They could probably use some updates but otherwise it was great! Also, their polish selection and display is really appealing. I could very easily find a color because everything is in color order! I don't get my nails done often, but I'd go there again! EDIT: my eyebrow wax made my eyebrow area red for a solid four days. So relaxing! I had never gotten my nails done but I came here to get a mani/pedi for prom. Everyone was very nice and thorough. Normally I'm self conscious about things like this but I felt very at ease. My acrylics lasted just under two weeks and only broke because I lift a lot of things at work and wasn't very careful. My pedicure lasted a very long time and only came off once I removed the polish myself. I'm not much of a nail gal but I'll definitely come back here to get them done for a special event. read more

Despite consistently experiencing discriminatory behavior, I continued to return because the wife does my dip nails well and I do not like switching nail technicians. However, the racism my daughter and I endured became impossible to ignore or excuse, and after my most recent visit, I will never return, recommend this business, or give them another dollar. Repeatedly, we walked into Crystal Nails and were completely ignored. There was no greeting and no acknowledgment, while white customers were immediately welcomed and assisted. I have watched staff see me approaching through the front window and then deliberately look down or away as I entered. I have also witnessed this same behavior toward other Black customers while I was being serviced. Meanwhile, white customers were consistently acknowledged, welcomed, and asked how they could be helped. On one particular visit, I walked in and every employee stared at me in silence until the older woman finally said, "What do you want?" That interaction alone should have been enough for me to never return. I stayed away for months afterward and only came back because I was hesitant about changing salons. During my most recent visit, the day after Christmas, the behavior was once again blatant and I had reached my limit. I walked in and every employee except one avoided eye contact and kept their heads down. The youngest employee quietly greeted me, which I appreciated. I told her I had a 2:45 appointment with the owner. The owner looked directly at me while massaging another client and we made eye contact, yet she said nothing. She finished with that customer, approached me, and motioned with her hands for me to show my nails without speaking a single word. I had to say hi loudly just to get a response. Immediately afterward, the staff began speaking in their language and staring at me. Moments later, a white woman walked in and everyone greeted her warmly. The energy instantly shifted to smiles and politeness. The contrast was undeniable, and at that point, I walked out. Three minutes or so later, the owner called my phone and asked if I was coming to my appointment or not? Ignorant yet again! I replied, "I was just in there and that I would not be returning because you're racist." This is not accidental. It is a pattern of racist behavior. It is very clear that Black customers are not welcomed or respected at Crystal Nails. While any business can choose who they want to serve, I choose not to support a business that believes customer service should depend on the color of someone's skin. I truly wish I had left sooner.

I am very fussy over details and start everyday outloud to myself to be 200% not 100% with everything and everyone I meet and do... That being said, 8 years ago I began to get my nails trimmed and cleaned up... rough cuticles made it impossible to keep from my teeth... I was apprehensive at first as a man to go to a salon... (however there are women there) so off I went... I use my hands very much and chipping as well as breakage became an issue...so then Joy (literally Joy) suggested acrylic unpainted matt finished material...wow! The Acrylic is so hard on my "fill"I suggested maybe she could add a phillips head screwdriver to a finger since I had plenty of flat head screwdrivers on the others... The Acrylic without polish is an excellent choice for a man... Durable, chip free for a man that uses his hands and a room full of beautiful women for those so disposed ... Joy and her crew get a 5 star from me...the welcome I receive and the gratitude along with the great ancillary treatment of massage and full attentions...don't wait! everyone comments on my excellent hands...lol And I am so comfortable there... I use yelp all the time for finding good places with good reviews, and I finally created an account just to leave a review for this place. 10/10 would recommend this nail salon. I have wanted to bring my boyfriend to get his first pedicure / manicure and he surprised me with booking one on Valentine's Day for the both of us. This place has now set his standards extremely high. The prices were great for the services and it is the best nail salon I've been to. They made sure we were comfortable, gave us great hand and feet massages during the mani/pedi, made sure both of our nails (mine painted) were perfect, and gave us incredible back and shoulder massages. Today was my second time at Spring House and I was once again thrilled with my experience! One of my good friends has visited Joy and her team for 5 years; since I am new to the area I needed a new "regular spot" and Spring House will definitely be it! All of the staff are are friendly, polite, professional and do fantastic work! I got a pedicure and full set gel manicure (pictured). They are also extra cautious regarding COVID-19 procedures which I found comforting. Parking at the location is stress-free, as is scheduling an appointment. read more

This place is amazing! As a man getting a pedicure, they went above and beyond. Talk about an experience! Would recommend for anyone. Perfect spot for couples as well. This nail salon has gone through a few owners, so if you visited in the past and didn't love it, you should definitely come back. The staff is consistent, friendly and give excellent massages while you wait for your nails to dry. I've been getting my nails done for many, many years and in lots of different places.
