The place is sleek and modern, but unfortunately, a little understaffed, which made breakfast a slow burn. However, we were lucky enough to have Thomas, our French waiter who was basically the embodiment of charm. He served us with a smile three of our five day stay and made us feel like we were at a Michelin-star restaurant (though no Michelin stars were involved). Now, the location is PRIME. We were literally steps away from everything--restaurants (Poco Loco, Forge, I'm looking at you), ski rentals, lifts, and the Tremblant Activity Centre. We could even pop over to the water park, Mission Laser, and more in just a few minutes. Oh, and those ski lockers on the third floor? A game-changer. This truly is a "meh, I've experienced better" rating. While the lobby is nice, the rooms have experienced a lot of wear and tear. The first room we checked into was next to the elevator. I am super sensitive to noise and didn't want to be next to all that foot traffic. On top of that, there must have been kids above our room because all were heard was running around and jumping above us. The room was in good shape with two balconies but we ultimately decided to move to a room away from the elevator. We moved down the hall, and that room had more wear and tear. The outside door to the room was chipping and peeling. The paint on the fireplace was chipping, there was dust all over items in the room, thick layer of dust on the stove in the kitchen, glass cups were dusty as well. It can be super nit picky, but when you are paying a premium to stay in a king suite, you would hope that the room would be in tip top shape. We knew that there was another suite available but it was next to an elevator on the floor up. We chose to just suck it up, unpack our things and stay in this room. The view from our room was great, you were able to see the ski hill and the village, but there was also a lot of noise from vehicles/delivery trucks and snow plows, since our hotel was located at the entrance of the village. We were woken up the first morning at 8am from a snow plow, plowing a snow bank for hours on end in front of our hotel, the following morning, we were woken up 5am for the same thing. The snow plow finally stopped at 8am. Something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to noise. Back to the room. The thermostat did not work. We tried turning it off, changing the temperature. It was stuck at 23 degrees in the room. It was boiling in the afternoon, so we had to keep our balcony door open at times to try and cool down. The bedroom was also super small, and the ceilings were low near the window and one side of the bed. My hubby is over six feet tall and ended up walking into the wall/ceiling a coupe of times. If you are claustrophobic, you may not like this style of room. I know I got annoyed with it. The main room in the suite had very high ceilings but there were stains on it. Almost like someone took champange and it sprayed everywhere. Maybe from a party that went wild? Service was nice at times. On the day that we were driving up we called them to ensure they had a crib available for our baby (which they did, free of charge), the told us we could check in early if we wanted to and our room was ready. That was at 9am, so that was pretty cool. I guess the hotel was not that busy during off season. We did order room service on our last night at the hotel, which was from Gypsy's. We ordered two grilled cheese kids meals with fries. One grilled cheese arrived burnt, and the other one had fluffs all in it. (wtf) We also ordered a creme brule type dessert which was the only highlight. The tray that the food was served on was nasty and chipped, but they tried to cover it up with a white cloth. I read reviews about this restaurant in the hotel, and they were right. The food was not very good. The whole time we stayed here, the restaurant barely had any customers. They do brew starbucks, which is the only plus. Do yourself a favor and avoid ordering here unless you are starving, like we were. I really was hoping for a peaceful getaway, and I wish I did a little bit more research, because I would have chosen another hotel. This hotel boasts about their spa and pool. The pool looked nice, but its not very private. It's literally on the side of the hotel next to all the traffic coming into the village. We were going to go to the spa, but after seeing how out of shape the rooms were, we decided to skip it and save our $$, we just were not feeling it anymore. It looked like others were enjoying their stay here, and it is super kid friendly and dog friendly, which is nice, but it was not up to par with other Westin hotels that I am used to staying at. Came in to town for the fights What a place! We were supposed to say at the holiday inn express but since they over booked us we got the same rate but at this location. We got lucky First thing we did after a few nights of camping was jump on the bed, open a bottle of wine and head down to the hot tub. The hot tub is big so everyone has a spot to relax without over hearing each others conversation, pool closes at 8 pm so we just missed it that night. The room we had was set up well equipped with water bottles and whisky glasses beside the couch which was located right in front of the fire place ( perfect ) Bathroom is spacious and had a blow dryer and scale. Best shampoo I've ever used from a hotel and I've stayed at plenty. It's white aloe I believe and I could smell it in my hair after a night out on the town. Wanderlust (yoga event) was happening at our hotel as we were staying there so the hotel has a even more relaxed vibe going on. Water with lemon and the entrance and fire place lit. The Westin name by any account assures quality, value, and all the nice touches associated with their brand. My stay in Mt. Tremblant was made complete by staying here. This location right smack in the centre of the pedestrian village can't be beat. The convenience of their "secret" exit on the 3rd floor takes you out next to the SAQ location as well as the St. Hubert (although I would not recommend eating at this location!). The room was large with a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony where a glass of wine, and the accompanying view made for the perfect way to end the day. The unit itself was dated and could use some TLC to fix wallpaper, and scuffed walls. The furnishings are typical of your mountain theme and functional with the obligatory gas fireplace. Staff were friendly and provided great recommendations for dining and sight seeing options. The pool looked awesome but unfortunately I did get a chance to use it. Underground parking while expensive, is very convenient. Good times! read more

Wonderful resort. Can't say enough good things about it. But! The smoky air quality in the village is ridiculously poor. I bet if they measured it, the air quality would be worse than Beijing. The problem is that the village openly burns wood in fireplaces along the pathways to keep people warm when they're walking through the village. The theory is that it's nice and bucolic and whatnot. It's also incredibly bad for your health. The smoke is inescapable. You smell it in the pool, in the hot tub, in your room. By the third night the charm wore off and I desperately longed to breathe fresh air again. None of this is Westin's fault, per se. It definitely impacts my desire to return here though. read more

I was pretty excited to stay at the Westin in Tremblant as it's supposed to one of the higher end hotels in the village. However, I was fairly disappointed. The building itself is okay (3/5) but the service is horrible. I'm a platinum SPG member, so I have stayed at many Westin which were much nicer. The service was non existent. There were barely any workers, and when I did speak to them, just seemed to want to be there. The lack of energy or excitement just seems fairly rude to me. I don't mean to sound like royalty, but we paid the premium price to stay at a premium hotel, so we were expecting premium service. Other than the horrible service, the food at the restaurant just sucked. I wasn't feeling well, so my most convenient option was to eat at the hotel restaurant. I ordered their veal for lunch and I almost wanted to puke. It was super salty and the meat was just awful. Next day for dinner I ordered the burger and a ceaser salad. The ceaser salad was pretty cool with nice presentation. But the burger again was horrendous. I've never had a burger that bad.. It was soggy and tasted just really bland. I picked the burger because it's usually the safest option... But they messed that up too. The room itself was nice and comfy. I'll never stay here again, and probably call SPG to complain about my experience. read more

4.5 overall. I had a great stay here with my family recently! We actually had booked a room at a different hotel, but randomly got upgraded to a suite at Le Westin. The staff at Le Westin were all very friendly and helpful. We asked the girl at the front desk about transportation to Montreal, and she helped us look up details for the autobus Galland (where the bus stop was, pricing, etc.) and then called us in our room to pass on the information. Service here was really A+! Our suite (room 621) was also lovely. We had a living room area which had high ceilings and a fireplace and was furnished with some couches and a TV, as well as a little kitchenette and dining area, and a balcony. Could not have asked for anything more. The bed in the bedroom was also very comfy and had its own TV. We loved it, and felt so at home and comfortable, and it was so nice to come back to the room after a long day of skiing and just relax in the living room. I checked out the fitness room and thought it was pretty well equipped. There were like three treadmills, two ellipticals, and a little bike thing. All of the machines seemed pretty new and modern. They also had a decent set of hand weights ranging from 5 lbs to 50 lbs, some medicine balls, a step, etc. All in all, not too shabby, I was impressed. There were just a few minor minor details which kept this place from being a 5 for me. They have a small game room which has an air hockey table, pool table, foosball table, some arcade game machines, and one of those claw machines. It's a cool place to relax, bring the kids, etc. The only problem is that a lot of the machines are "out of order" on occasion. The first night I was there, both the air hockey and pool table were out of order. Later on, the foosball table and claw machine were as well, although eventually everything got fixed. The food in the restaurant downstairs, Gypsy, is also pretty expensive, so my family opted out of eating there. We looked at the menu and breakfast was on average around $15, and considering that other Yelp reviewers said it wasn't that great, we decided not to try it. Still, kind of a bummer to not have the option to just eat downstairs. They have free wifi here, but we had issues connecting to it when we first checked in. Afterwards they fixed it, but it was still pretty slow and kept cutting in and out. Each device is also limited to 200 MB per every 24 hours, just something to keep in mind. For the most part though I would highly recommend staying in this hotel. The location is excellent, which is one of the most important things. I'm pretty sure this is one of the closest hotels to the ski hills and is just a few minutes walk away from the heart of Tremblant Village, where there are lots of restaurants and shops! My boyfriend and I decided to visit Mont Tremblant to celebrate a special occasion and chose to go with the Westin as he is a SPG member and was able to use his points for a two night stay. We also brought along our dog as they had a pet friendly policy. They provided him with a dog bed and some food and water bowls as well as poop bags; all of which were very much appreciated Upon arrival, we checked in and were upgraded to a King Deluxe room. The valet took our bags and snowboards while we went to park our car at the P1 lot for free (you are able to park overnight here). It is about a 5 minute walk to the Westin so we didn't mind the walk through the village. By the time we got to our room, the valet had already put our snowboards in a designated locker we could use for the duration of our stay (lock provided). Our bags were in room and they had decorated the room with balloons, a card, rose petals everywhere, chocolates, and a rose with a bag of goodies (jam and maple syrup). I found out later that this was a request from my boyfriend and he had paid for this extra service but it is good to know that this is something the Westin could offer at an extra price. The King Deluxe room had a small kitchenette, a balcony, a fireplace, and a good sized living room. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pops and pans, a can opener, cheese grater, cutting board and it had a dishwasher, stove top, and kettle. If you need it, they have it! The living room also had an iHome stand so iPhone users rejoice! There were also two TVs in the room; one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The hotel is located in the middle of the village and is a short 1 minute walk to the base of the South side Hill from the ski lockers. They have an indoor and outdoor pool with an outdoor hot tub. They also have a fitness centre and if you're tight for luggage space, you can rent workout gear for 5$. I can't comment on the facilities though since we brought our own food and used our kitchen so we stayed in for the majority of the night after a long day of being on the hill. The staff were very accommodating and were always full of smiles and greetings. We had forgotten to bring cooking oil and decided it was worth a shot to ask the bar staff if they had any to spare, and sure enough, they gave us some. Saved us alot of hassle there! Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the westin and they made everything as convenient as possible for us during our stay. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because in comparison to other Westins we've stayed at under SPG, they didn't provide as many perks. However, that was the only reason and everything else was on point. I would definitely stay with the Westin again if I were to find myself in tremblant. read more

The location of the hotel is conveniently located in the middle of the village. However, hotel rooms are seriously in need of a face lift. Everything is worn out and the walls have scuffs on it. I understand it is in a ski resort and there is heavy traffic. However, if the hotel is carrying the Westin name, it really needs to meet certain standards. Additionally, Marriott status gets no recognition at all. As a platinum member, there was absolutely no upgrade and no benefits. In minus 13 degree weather we were waiting for over 30 mins for a cab. We asked to stand in the lobby of the hotel so we wouldn't get frostbiten. There were 4 of us being quiet just looking for shelter & warmth. They kicked us out of the hotel. I'm a SPG member and being thrown out in the cold at 2 am is not my thought of good hospitality nor a way their SPG members should get treated. I go out of my way to stay at a Starwood hotel and I've stayed at plenty hotels across the world to warrant some kindness and a lobby to stand in. I really enjoyed my stay here in Tremblant. I was upgraded to a room that included a fireplace, balcony and kitchenette upon arrival. The front staff and the service staff was superb. We used the valet parking and they were courteous and fast. The lady at the front desk made a recommendation for a nice restaurant (La Forge) for steak and even offered to help make reservations. She noted that the hot tub is open until midnight. There is also a heated pool that closes earlier. We were provided with robes and slippers to check out the hot tub. The outdoor hot tub is supposed to be heated to 100 degrees F, but it felt a little cooler than that so we warmed up in the sauna. Passing by the gym seems a bit outdated, but seeing that it is Tremblant, it's kind of expected that the activities should be happening outdoors anyway. The location is good and within walking distance of the village and many shops and restaurants. read more

Pros and cons below: Pros: - Location is a five minute walk to the slopes, rental center and ticket pickup - Suites on preferred guest level - Heavenly bed and showers - Solid gym - Transport service to bring you to and from locations like the Scandive Spa - Lockers at a cost to store skiis and equipment - In town and close to great coffee shops and restaurants - really ideal location - 4pm checkout for platinum members and non if available - Scale in room - Kid friendly Cons: - Free internet has limits. Too expensive - Spa is high priced. Scandive spa is way better - No IPod docking stations in rooms - Coffee provided was one packet of decalf and one of regular - No lotion provided! - They take forever to pick up the phone at reception - Kid friendly That said, the location and overall comfort of the hotel win out and I would definitely stay here again given the location. read more

This hotel has gone downhill and management is terrible. Our dog was viciously attacked by another dog in the hotel. My husband was bit by the other dog while he was trying to get the dog off of ours. There was even a concierge from the hotel who witnessed the entire incident and ran to bring us towels to help stop the bleeding on our dog. Instead of the management being helpful and apologetic, they were defensive and tried to suggest our dog was not on a leash (she was and there were witnesses). They refused to have the other dog leave the hotel and only offered to have them switch floors. We ended up with vet hospital bills and medical clinic bills for my husband's hand and they did not even offer to cover those expenses. We insisted on filing a police report and they tried to suggest we were overreacting. This review doesn't even take into consideration the wires that were coming out of the electric socket in our kitchen and cigarette burns on the carpet and couch in our room. read more

Not a fan of this hotel. The surroundings are beautiful and the room I got was awesome, fireplace, lots of room, large bathroom. The rooms are kept clean and stocked. The service though, not good. (I believe it is that way in Quebec, but you had to hunt down servers at the bar, ask twice, three times for something and nothing was fast!) The spa experience was not that pleasant either. Usually you can enjoy the facilities, but here you were lead into a small room, offered tea/water and then just had to wait for your service. I was also disappointed at the Westin's cancelation policy. Since it was a work trip, something came up and I had to cancel the last night, but it cost more to cancel than to keep the room. Tried talking to a few different people, front desk, manager, even called the Westin office, but nothing helped. Then when I filled out a survey, which they conveniently sent me, I only got a half-hearted apology for a non-satisfying experience. I hope not to stay in a Westin ever again! read more

Location, location, location! There isn't true ski on/off, but the resort is directly on the mountain and the rental shop and main gondola are only about 200 yards away. There are also lockers available to leave your gear so you don't need to lug it back to the hotel room. They hotel may rent locks (not sure) or you can bring your own. The room we had was a nice suite. But while we were there three nights, they only came once to clean our room, but you could barely tell they did anything at all. The gym setup was nice and pretty much on par with what other Westins offer. I didn't check out the spa, which was more expensive than Spa Scandinave, and it shared the pool and jacuzzi with the resort, which was filled with families and tons of kids. Not exactly a relaxing experience. All in all, a solid option, especially if you're a SPG member. read more

We visited the village after staying in town and fell in love so we decided to stay the night. We went to the Westin as a Starwood member and they had a room! We asked for a view of the hills vs a view of the pool. The room itself was wonderful but we wouldn't expect anything less from a Westin. I recommend u get the breakfast. What made it an amazing experience was at checkin. Dany helped us and she was able to get us a refund of the gondola ride as it was included with our room. Thank you Dany! Very Nice get away hotel!!! Review of Le Westin Resort & Spa, Tremblant, Quebec Reviewed May 22, 2017 We chose this hotel for a weekend getaway. We have stayed at several Westins in the past so we knew what to expect. The Lobby is a little dated of this Westin although still elegant. The room (traditional) we we were assigned on the first floor with a comfy Queen bed was wonderful. It had a small sitting area plus a small balcony where we sat reading books while listening to the stream guile down the hill. Exactly what I had in mind when I booked this getaway from the city life. The room also had lots of extras like coffee maker (free tea and coffee), microwave, toaster, a small wet bar and an empty mini fridge and dishes. I guess people staying for longer would appreciate these extras. There was also a safe in the closet. The only downside of the room was the bathroom. As in most hotels the water pressure was not great. It did however have both a rain shower and a hand held shower. The bathroom was spacious enough but the tub made a noise overtime you moved in it. It seemed to be one of those tubs that were put on top of an older tub and it creaked when we walked in it. It was also very slippery (no non-slip decals) and the tub edge was very high. I am 6ft 3 and had trouble getting in and out. We loved the fact that the cafe/restaurant served Starbucks coffee. We also used the well equipped gym. There were several treadmills, 2 ellipticals and a stationary bike along with free weights, an all in one weight machine plus miscellaneous balls and mats. Towels and water provided in the workout room. Very nice! There is also an outdoor heated pool and a large whirlpool. The doormen and front desk staff were all courteous and nice. Katherine at the Front desk stood out as a very friendly and efficient employee. If you are coming for a few days this hotel is perfectly located next to all the shops and restaurants of the Tremblant Village. read more

We've stayed here in the past. It's a nice hotel, very clean. The service is a hit and miss Dominic the concierge was very helpful and nice. The others at the front desk, as I said, a hit and miss. The hot tub was broken while we were there. They turned the pool into a hut tub. It wasn't hot enough so we only stayed for a bit. I would likely stay here again because of the big spacious rooms, but if I find another hotel with large rooms I would check that one out. In summary, it's not a place where you feel compelled to go back, it's a place you choose out of convenience. read more

Disappointing at best. I wish I had paid closer attention to some of the other negative reviews. We stayed for eight nights, returned home today. The good; great location, valet and porters are fabulous, food (room service) was pretty good and prompt. Lobby is nice. The average; front desk folks were average at best the first few days, not rude, not polite, not attempting to be helpful, just sort of there taking up space. Service improved further into our stay. The bad; rooms and hallways are dated and cheap. Clean, but worn out, far below expectations. Tube TVs. Really? The terrible; the bed was awful, most uncomfortable bed I've been forced to sleep on in a while. My wife is in terrible pain, and this removes the hotel from consideration next year (we visit every summer). As much as Westin touts their Heavenly Bed, this was a surprise, and certainly nothing to be proud of, much less trademark. Edit: take their website with a grain of salt. The "gift shop" is a cabinet in the lobby and while there is a bar, nobody was there to pour a drink when we were there. It seemed like they were understaffed most of the time. read more

Our cleaning lady did not restock anything in our room and our room service menu was missing till the last day of our stay. Had a very nice overall stay with my family for a 1 week ski vacation. Very large suite that was perfect for a family of 2 adults and 3 young kids. The place does need "updating", but the amenities with the heated outdoor pool, hot tub, ski lockers, & location to the gondola were superb. Very friendly valet and bellmen. Perfect for skiing - there are ski lockers that lead right out to the pedestrian village and is 1 minute walk from the gondola. We were upgraded to a king suite and it was beautiful! Full kitchen, balcony, and fireplace. We made full use of the pool area every day after skiing. The pool was a perfect temperature, my only complaint was that the hot tub was WAY too hot.
