The Auberge Sauvignon is an excellent place, excellent located, and with beautiful surroundings. The accommodations are simple but reliable, clean, and functional. My room was clean and comfortable, the showers worked well, and I had a space heater which did its job very well even during a weekend with a decent snowfall and temperatures that got down to 5 degrees F. The auberge enjoys two (I think? One seemed to be further away from the deck) outdoor jacuzzis/spas that were thankfully well maintained and cleaned. The staff are also immensely polite, and check-in and check-out is very flexible so long as you're able to sign your paperwork at some time during your stay, due to only needing a code for the keypads. There is a shuttle service for the ski village that I did not get the chance to take advantage of, but I did take note as something else that really enhances the bang-for-buck factor - this is on top of the Sauvignon being right by one of the free bus stops that cover the whole MT area. The included breakfast is some very basic self-serve with shrink-wrapped pastries and a selection of drinks. Very bare bones, but free and included Though I really sat down to ponder what might bump down my experience with the Sauvignon to even 4 stars, I cannot find anything truly worth that. Two small comments: signs indicated that towels would be available by the back door of the auberge for use of the spa, but these were either not available or not readily visible. Furthermore, the bedsheets seemed to have a lot of specks of fluff on them, giving them the appearance of being unclean - though further inspection satisfied me that it was just dryer lint. Le Geyser is just 10 minutes past St Jovite, and the map marker on Google is currently wrong so either map from here on Yelp or follow the directions on their website. Also note: reservations are required. We were able to call and reserve 40min before showing up so I don't think you'll have a problem getting a spot, and I like the idea that the owner is interested in keeping the place peaceful and not overcrowded. The owner is an awesome woman who welcomed us kindly, a little shy with her English but willing to help my cousin understand the benefits of the infrared spa, the salt water hot tubs, etc. She moved quietly throughout the space while we were there keeping the fire lit and gently checking in - a really comforting presence in this beautiful homey space. My favourite aspects were the hot sauna, the cold salt water pool with waterfall, sitting by the fire and watching the river through the spectacular autumn leaves. There is a gorgeous shared kitchen here and 4 rooms for rent so I totally want to organize a tiny getaway here. The water course is super affordable- 29$ with tax- and the change rooms, showers and relaxation areas were all simple, lovely and completely calm. I would love to see the hot tubs upgraded someday to be more like the beautiful stone-circled cold pool, less with the foam and plastic, but honestly they were super relaxing, perfect temperature, lovely view. Just what we needed after a few days of skiing! We started in a small sauna for about 20 min, then went outside for the hot tubs (about 5 degrees f outside) so getting in the hot tubs was fabulous. There were two hot tubs... nothing fancy but relaxing...The views were beautiful and being outside was refreshing. After the tubs we went into the large sauna which was warming to the soul, then tried the cold outdoor shower (but it was so cold it was frozen) totally understandable in this weather... so we went inside and had cold showers, then we relaxed with hot tea and in a warm and peaceful room in zero gravity chairs. Our group was me and my best friend and our teenage/ young adult kids. They enjoyed the experience too. I read that Some of the other spas in the area don't allow talking so this was a great choice for our group as we wanted to spend tome together and have fun. There is also lots of parking out front and it's free unlike at the hotels that are not that far away. Snacks are always available as well as tea and water. A continental breakfast is also offered with your stay. Hard boiled eggs, toast, pastries, yogurt and fruit were provided. As well as tea, coffee and hot cocoa. I'd recommend this stay to anyone in the Mont Tremblant area.

I just can't believe such people exist, so the only room with a balcony belonged to someone staying for 5 days (hello! that was us) and she demanded to have that room but thank God the receptionist gracefully stood his ground. Please don't be a Karen, anyways while she looked for the email she knew she didn't have (to show she requested a balcony even though it was common sense the she was to get a room with balcony) the receptionist apologized even though he had no fault and checked us in. It literally took less than 3 min and we were given our key card and instructions about the hotel. The hotel looks very nice and in great shape, I think it was recently renovated. It's wheelchair and stroller accessible from beginning to end, they have underground parking (15$/day). I did see a lot of parents with kids and well with the scene my kids put up, it's safe to say the hotel is newborn/ toddler friendly. The room was clean, great floor plan and well equipped for a short term stay. I liked the location of the hotel as it's directly in the city but to the side so you don't listen to the noisy people at night. The sanitation staff is really helpful and friendly. The breakfast is very mediocre but the cappuccino is delicious the pool is a. I've size and very clean, there's a lifeguard on duty (depends if they wanna show up) and the water was murky (I guess from everyone's sunblock). From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Alexia, who checked us in with the kind of warmth you wish your family gave you at holidays. Bonus points for letting us check in early! And let's talk valet parking - it was quick, it was easy, and best of all, our car stayed snow-free in the garage (goodbye, snow-covered car blues). Our room? Cozy and comfy! We had a king-sized bed that felt great after long ski days, plus a pull-out couch that could comfortably fit our two boys (8 & 4). The fireplace? Perfect for those chilly winter nights when you want to feel fancy, but also warm and toasty. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything. The shared balcony was HUGE--ideal for watching snow fall, although we did wish for some patio furniture to sit and sip hot cocoa. But hey, it's a shared space, so I get it! However, we were lucky enough to have Thomas, our French waiter who was basically the embodiment of charm. He served us with a smile three of our five day stay and made us feel like we were at a Michelin-star restaurant (though no Michelin stars were involved). Now, the location is PRIME. We were literally steps away from everything--restaurants (Poco Loco, Forge, I'm looking at you), ski rentals, lifts, and the Tremblant Activity Centre. We could even pop over to the water park, Mission Laser, and more in just a few minutes. Oh, and those ski lockers on the third floor? A game-changer. Just grab your gear and you're on the lift in minutes--goodbye, waiting in line! We had such a blast that we're already planning our return next year. Even she didn't offer any kind of selection ( for relaxation, example rosemary , orange or any other kind of oil ) . didn't enjoy the message because the smells of heated oil made room very unpleasant, I brought to the attention of the staff. The outside thermales were so hot or icy cold. ( nothing in middle to seat in the thermal & enjoy it ) The location was very nice and accessible. The outside was very clean, quiet & the view was great and we enjoyed it. The steam bath & dry sauna was very clean & so relaxing The staff were really friendly with us. During our ski trip, my husband called the spa to book a massage and thermal baths for both of us…read more The person he spoke to on the phone confirmed that there was availability for both the massage and the thermal baths. However, when we arrived, we were told that the massage had not been booked and that there was no record in the system that such a reservation had ever been made. The only reservation that existed was for the thermal baths. We had specifically requested both the massage and the thermal baths, so we decided not to stay for the thermal baths alone. Complaint Regarding Incorrect Reservation and Unjust Cancellation Fee We would like to thank Ms. Flodie for explaining to us that this situation was my husband's fault because he did not check his email while skiing. According to her, he should have done so, despite being told over the phone that the reservation had been successfully made. As Ms. Flodie informed us, we are apparently responsible for this entire situation and are required to pay a 50% cancellation fee for the thermal baths, which we did not intend to use on their own. Be careful when you are making a reservation over the phone.
