We love that there are a variety of slides for all ages and baby swings for the little ones. There are 2 large canopied bench areas where you can rest and enjoy some shade. The equipment is in good condition and there are 2 clean restrooms within just feet of the playground! Parking is also very easy and convenient. The only problem is that the playground is too close to a busy street and highway to be perfect. Some sort of fence or barrier of trees or something would make things a lot safer. We meet mom friends here and love it. Summit Park is an excellent choice for those with kids near Lee's Summit.

This is the perfect size water park for our community and the lifeguards have always been so attentive. I've only lived in Raytown for about a year, and since it's started to get warmer, I've been wanting to get out and check out the city more. Being a 'burbs kind of girl, I love parks. This particular park I thought was great! Lee Kenagy park features a large pond that is stocked and you can fish in it, as well as a walking trail that I think is about a half-mile long. It has shelters, restrooms, playgrounds, and even a small "skate park" for boarders and bladers. it's got some pretty decent ramps on it I thought, although I'm definitely not an expert on the subject. There are 4 tennis courts, and a softball area as well. As the weather warms even more, you will definitely see a lot of kids up here playing and skating!
