We love that there are a variety of slides for all ages and baby swings for the little ones. There are 2 large canopied bench areas where you can rest and enjoy some shade. The equipment is in good condition and there are 2 clean restrooms within just feet of the playground! Parking is also very easy and convenient. The only problem is that the playground is too close to a busy street and highway to be perfect. Some sort of fence or barrier of trees or something would make things a lot safer. We meet mom friends here and love it. Summit Park is an excellent choice for those with kids near Lee's Summit.

More raccoons, possums. If you post up somewhere by a pond you're definitely going to see and hear lot of loud wild animal noises from frogs and you'll see some turtles there. I recommend bring your binoculars, the ones that can capture electronic pics. You're going to see different species of birds my favorite one are the red-headed vultures. This particular park I thought was great! Lee Kenagy park features a large pond that is stocked and you can fish in it, as well as a walking trail that I think is about a half-mile long. It has shelters, restrooms, playgrounds, and even a small "skate park" for boarders and bladers. it's got some pretty decent ramps on it I thought, although I'm definitely not an expert on the subject. There are 4 tennis courts, and a softball area as well. As the weather warms even more, you will definitely see a lot of kids up here playing and skating!
