These guys go the extra mile to make you happy. When we first bought there they added a folding step to make it easier to get in when they noticed we had trouble with the step up on the side door. Their experience and customer care shows when they anticipate our needs. When we have had problems they stuck with it until they were resolved. I have never once felt cheated or neglected. The sales team, especially Archie, was great, but our experience with the service center was very disappointing. We had to return twice for an issue that was supposedly resolved, and throughout the 2+ months they had our camper, we struggled to get any status updates. We had to initiate all the calls, as they never reached out, and when we did call, I was often dismissed with promises of a call back that never came. When we finally got the camper back--while the issue seems fixed--they left the inside a mess, including wire clippings on the floor. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend their service center due to the poor communication and lack of care! read more

Worst place ever. Called in April to make an appointment to have them give me a quote for some water damage. Made the appt for May 17 2024. I dropped it off on the 16th. Specifically asked about timeline to get the quote and was told May 20 or 21st they would get ahold of me... You guessed it, they never did! I stopped in to talk to them and grab a couple things out of the camper for a weekend trip out of town on May 29. They said it had been looked at multiple times but just can't figure out how to do the estimate correctly. I said let's go look at it and we did. Looked at detailed areas. Was told he would call me that Sat with the estimate. (June 1). We talked about potential costs and I said just make the estimate a ball park to see what price range we are in, and if it was going to work then we could get more detailed with costs. I said go ahead and wait until Monday June 3 to call since I wouldn't have service where I was going. You guessed it, no call! So Tuesday June 4, I drove there, hooked up to the camper and left without speaking to anyone. It's now June 15 and nobody has called. I can only assume they haven't even noticed it's gone. I can't imagine any worse service. 0% chance we buy anything from there, or bring anything there for service ever again. Everyone we know will hear this story as well. read more

They are Johnny on the spot selling you a camper but awful for service. It took numerous trips to get repairs made on an awning that was to be repaired at the time of purchase. Then made an appointment to have minor repairs and camper opened up for the camping season. After the camper sat in their lot for a week they still had not even looked at it. When asked what's the purpose of an "appointment " the service receptionist chuckled and said to get in line. This is the unreal part--No documentation fees, no $100 charge to switch your hitch over, No charge for walk-through, everything I asked for was done and done right and quickly. We purchased a brand new winnebago adventure from leach last fall. There were some warranty issues that needed repaired so their service dept said they could take care of the issues. A walk thru of issues was done and a list left in the RV. When we got our RV back months later only some if the issues were addressed. We received the rv back with no door shelves therefore making the frig useless. The leak in the fresh water tank was not fixed, the paper peeling was not fixed, the slide down bunk was not fixed. All of these items were never fixed even though we brought our RV in 3 separate times to get these issues fixed. We camped out last weekend at a state park that did not provide water. After one day ALL of our water had leaked out from the fresh water tank. The water is also leaking into a couple of the lower storage areas which is dreaching everything we tried to store in those areas....making them now useless. We were told the frig shelves would be in within a couple days. After waiting over a week we called leach and the shelves were magically there. The last time we picked up the RV there was a large pool of water on our living room floor. They didnt even bother to clean it up....terrible service. 2 of the 3 times we returned home with our RV after being at Leach water was spraying out of 2 separate outer doors. I am EXTREMLY DISAPPOINTED and was assuming we would have received better treated after spending well more than $100,000 on a brand new RV from them. We will not be returning customers and want everyone to know that after they make the big sale they will not be willing to make the wrongs right. We are brand new to the RV lifestyle and was assured they would be there to help us. We are still under warranty and dont want to try to fix these issues ourselves and void the warranty. We now are left to try to find another Winnebago service station to help us and are unable to RV in state parks that dont provide water. VERY SADENED BY THEIR TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPT read more

I would not recommend Leachs Camper Sales in Council Bluffs IA to anyone. We just brought our 5th wheel home from there. It was there for 7 months and not once even looked at! We dropped it off November 24 2021. They said they were 3 weeks behind because of the covid shut down. Ok, no big deal, it was winter, weren't going to be using it. They called in January and said they were still behind a bit. Once again no big deal. They called again in March, still behind and asked when we wanted it by. We said we would like it by the end of the first week in May! Their reply, okay! By second week in May still no word. Husband calls them. Oh the person that deals with that has left early. Pretty much same response the next several calls made to them. Each call was, that person was either out or left early, I'm not sure I'll check and call you back (with no return call) or its in the pile with the rest of them. June 24, exactly 7 months later my husband and I drove an hour and a half to this place to personally check on our camper. We found it sitting in the back lot, right where they parked it and left it!! The order number that was hung on it was so worn that it was in pieces inside a baggie!! We went inside and told them we were taking it with us. There was now apologies, excuses or anything, they were speechless!! We hooked it up ourselves and drove away! Unless you purchased a camper from them, beware taking yours there for any repairs!! Their customer service and communication is very lacking! read more

Michelle Kennedy and Dean in the sales department went above and beyond for our family. My sister has been battling Lung Cancer since July 2017. She has been progressively going downhill these last few months and we are not sure how much longer we will have her. She has been wanting to get to the beach and take the family on a trip. She is unable to fly so we rented an RV from another company in town. Upon arrival they were rude, unprofessional, argumentative, and extremely unhelpful in assisting with our needs. They left a bad impression on us and we hoped for a Hail Mary that another company had an RV for us. Michelle and her team came through with flying colors today. Michelle wasn't in the office but her team knew how desperate we were so they reached out to her and she took our phone call from her hotel room in Kansas City at 8:30am on a Saturday morning to help us get another RV secured. Her team hustled to get one ready for us and within 3 hours of our phone call we were on our way. I know they were all probably just doing their jobs but they didn't have to help on their day off and hustle for us the way they did. You all deserve some major kudos from your company. Purchased what I thought was a 2018 travel trailer. The purchase agreement stated it was a 2018. When I went to the county I discovered the title said it was a 2017. Wrote Leach a letter to discuss the discrepancy and they never responded. read more

Bought a Montana Fifth Wheel from Leach Camper Sales yesterday. The entire purchase and trade-in was handled through email and phone calls. It was truly a pleasure doing business with them! Tracy (Sales) was a joy to work with through the whole process! Bob (Sales) answered a LOT of questions about towing and satellite options and was very helpful. Donny in the business office explained everything well and treated me right. Les (Service) showed me how to operate everything and when he didn't have an answer, he found someone who did. We had bought a Big Sky Montana from Leaches the salesman Tracie has been very good to work with.With that in mind Find somewhere else to get service work we have been waiting since last June 2017 to have minor things fixed on our camper.The numerous phone calls to both the shop and the parts department seem to fall on deaf ears. They either refuse nor do they want to warranty anything that is suppose to be covered by the warranty. Our VCR has been out since the end of camping season last October and is still sitting on the counter at the parts department with nothing done about it.
