When we went (September) there was a farmer's market. There were ducks and geese in the water. The place was clean; no garbage around - plenty of places to throw trash. My advice would definitely be to head out here but give the sick pups a chance to get things sorted to avoid the spread, according to the vet.

There are a few shady slots for those warmer days too, but only in the general park (which is the largest). The only real negative is that that water fountain doesn't work, so be sure to bring your pups water to drink. There are dog bags provided. It's a little hard to find but it's worth looking for since its one of the only place I found in Minot where the dogs can run around freely. Overall, this is a good park for the pups.

Has onsite restrooms, playground, covered eating area volleyball and basketball areas. Gas station and other amenities nearby in town. The site was easy to back into. Drive past the playground and covered eating area and look for the white sign on the left side. A really nice surprise to find this easy overnighter.
