Not a great place this year if you're COVID cautious at all. We went a couple days ago and nobody was wearing masks (including owners) and owners didn't demonstrate any social distancing. Prices were a bit high too. Very nice people and beautiful farm with lovely trees, though. read more

We have picked our Noble from here the last two years that we cut them. The price is a bit higher than the last time two years ago, but on par with other trees in the area. About $50 for 8 feet. You can cut it yourself, or you can stand next to the tree and they will come cut it down for you with a chainsaw and haul it to the check out for you. So you can decide what kind of experience you want. They employ a lot of local people and it is a true family tree farm. A great experience about 30 minutes south of Beaverton. read more

If you're looking for a Noble Fir for the holidays, this is the place to go. Their property is huge and you can take your pick from a ton of nicely shaped Noble Firs. Its simple! 1) Walk around and pick out your perfect tree (Trees cost $5 per foot) 2) Have a worker chop down the tree for you and tow it to the parking lot. You can also choose to cut down the tree yourself, but the tree we picked out was on a slope and it was 30 degrees out, so we opted out of the manual labor. 3) Pay. 4) Have some free hot chocolate while they tie the tree to the roof of your car* Easy peasy. *Our tree actually came loose when we were down the road, so if you can, make sure it's tied tightly to the car. read more

It's a family business, and they help you find a place to park, direct you to the size tree you are looking for, cut it, haul back to the staging area, and help you put it in or on your car. We came over to Leach Tree Farms when we found Windsong was closed. Everyone there was nice and helpful and they have a good selection of trees and similar prices to Windsong. The reason for not giving the fifth star is they don't have a shaker to get the dead needles out of the tree, they don't have nets to wrap the tree in for the drive home, they didn't give us a tree bag for disposal after Christmas, and they don't have any pre-cut and pre-shaped trees to choose from. We haven't been to any tree farms other than Windsong until now so maybe what Windsong did was above and beyond and a reflection of the level of service our older generation provided to one another. In any case, Leach was a nice experience getting our tree and it's pretty. read more

Can't get better than this place. I've been getting my trees from them for years. It's tough to find a bad noble! I usually find a perfect tree within 5-10 minutes, but want to stay an hour just to enjoy the scenery! read more

Wouldn't go anywhere else to get my tree! We always go early in the season and the trees last until the first of the year! They are always more than helpful in making sure we get just the tree we want, getting it secured to the car, and getting that super cute family photo with our tree before it's cut! Pop, who owns the farm, I believe, is always so sweet and amazing with the kiddos. Cash or check only but worth it! Love our gorgeous tree this year!! read more

OMG what attitudes! Owner was very rude about the neighbors farm (little red house tree farm), I was looking for a cheap u-cut experience with my daughter, I pulled into the wrong driveway(leach farm), but she was very rude about how bad the neighboring farm was. After finding the right farm (the little red house next door) with the $25 ucut signs. The little red house farm was so helpful and amazing I couldn't believe the amazing service I got by one of the owners. I was appalled by the the way the Leach farm spoke of their own neighbors. read more

We went here 2-3 weeks ago in an attempt to get a Christmas tree. Attempt being the operative word. When we arrived, the parking lot and the surrounding road was absolutely packed. We could barely drive where we needed to, there were so many cars. This was ok, we figured it must be a good place if all these people want to go here. After slopping through 5 inches of pure mud to the main area, we found that there was a big to-do going on. There were food trucks from Portland, some form of catering company with a big tent and a full bar. Whoa, this seemed pretty cool actually and we thought we might have to grab a bite after we get our tree loaded up. Off to find the perfect one..... Step 1- get a saw......where can we get one? We couldn't find anyone that worked there. We saw 2 guys driving around on ATVs with other people's trees. They never actually stopped, so we couldn't flag either of them down. The moment I did get one to stop, that was because he was stopping to eat and couldn't help me. I cannot overstate how unorganized and chaotic this place was. There appeared to be people that worked there (one man who was yelling that he was the man on the ATV's supervisor), but he was too busy with a drink in his hand to help anybody. Drinking people everywhere, bonfire here, food truck there, dogs, kids. It was absolutely nuts. No organization or direction AT ALL. We figured we could find a tree and maybe....eventually....we could flag someone down to cut it for us. That never happened. We were there for an hour and we were not able to speak with anyone working there, period. We left empty handed. I don't know if this is their standard for the holiday season or maybe we happened to show up during their Christmas party. Either way, we drug our kids through the mud for an hour and got nothing for it. It was extremely frustrating. We found a place in Hillsboro the next day that was fantastic. read more

Beautiful noble firs at a great price. Helpful and friendly staff. We waited around for quite a bit for someone to come cut down our tree-- that was the only negative. But it was a super busy day, so it was understandable. They had hot chocolate and cookies for the kids and adults as well, which was nice. read more

We just moved to the Tigard and found this family tree farm. They treated us like we were part of the family, we passed a couple of other farms on the way to this place. Skip the Big Red House and go to this place. We got a beautiful 7' Noble Fir and even a bonus 3' tree for our front porch. Thanks Doug & Sue and family. By far the best trees in Wash Co!! Best people around. Either you can cut or they cut!!! They even have people to haul it out of the farm!!!
