I searched through quite a few farms on the Molalla Farm Loop page and for whatever reason Blueberry Sunrise Farm stood out. Maybe it was the mention of Pygmy goats (they're friggin adorable!) that piqued my interest, but boy howdy am I glad we found this place. Colleen has a simple but lovely set up for selling her beautiful Jersey cows milk from her personal "herd". With a fridge on the front porch, and a sign in sheet it's set up to be self serve, but Colleen so far has always been there with a smile. We even got a free tour on our first visit! She does have a whole field of goats, and Pygmy goats, and baby Pygmy goats! Not only that, but she also has a herd of dachshunds!!!! I have two dachshund mixes, and can't get enough of their little weenie butts. This farm is a little slice of heaven... And the milk *tastes* like it too :-D I've NEVER had better milk. I'm still amazed that she sells it for only $10 a gallon (she has half gallons too for $5) in *glass jars*. I highly recommend this quaint, amazing farm and it's lovely owner/proprietor.

They have everything from dairy, grains/baking, local and Oregonian products, fresh produce, meats, wine and beer, and fresh meals from the deli and kitchen. I like that their produce is labeled where it came from, usually from Oregon, Washington, California, or Mexico. They have a variety of sweet potato. I tend to always buy their prunes, carrots, melons, in season berries, beets, tomatoes, and snap peas. Their kombucha is yummy! Brunch is very popular here. It was sold out one Saturday afternoon. If you join the coop, you'll have one day out of the month to get a little discount off of your groceries. I wished it was more days of the month, to be honest. But, they have fun events throughout the month and year, like pizza fridays (family friendly) and holiday dinners on the farm. Come check out this place if you live in the Wilsonville-Sherwood area. She sets you up with buckets (hand, belt, or neck) Picking is easy! So many berries, wide rows, grassy aisles. You are encouraged to taste so you know you like that variety. The last time I came here, the employee very clearly told me we were NOT allowed to bring our own containers and that we HAD to buy and use the farm's berry boxes. So this time, I listened and followed exactly what I was told. The moment I tried explaining that, he completely exploded for some reason so awkward. He started cussing at me aggressively in front of my nephews (6 and 14) calling us horrible names (like fatshack and big blueberry) and speaking to us with a level of hostility that honestly almost felt frightening, was it a threat? I was stunned watching a grown man completely lose control over a simple misunderstanding that HE created in the first place. Then suddenly he started denying he had ever told me that about the boxes at all, making me feel like I was being blatantly gaslit in front of everyone standing there. What made the entire experience feel even more bizarre and upsetting was how chaotic and almost theatrical his behavior became afterward (I hate to bring it up again but this is in front of my nephews) Instead of helping us or calmly explaining anything, he kept storming off mid-conversation, disappearing, then returning while still eating a quesadilla the entire time as if dealing with customers was beneath him. The image of him angrily chewing on that quesadilla while my nephews stood there confused and uncomfortable is honestly burned into my memory. Every time we tried to ask a question, he would wander away again clutching the quesadilla, visibly irritated that we even dared speak to him. I spent so much money here through the years and I'm talked to that way? At one point he came back STILL holding the quesadilla, yelling and cursing between bites while we just stood there in disbelief. I genuinely could not comprehend how someone could behave this way in front of children while casually carrying around the same quesadilla through the entire confrontation like it was more important than treating people with basic human decency. In front of my nephews too. My nephews were visibly shaken and upset watching a grown man scream, curse, and behave so aggressively toward us over berry boxes. I wish they hired nicer staff that wouldn't lie and pay more attention.

It took 3 of us about 45 minutes to pick 11 pounds of blueberries! And it only cost us about $22 if I remember correctly. Such a bargain! And what amazing customer service. Really great place!
