My 20 year old son took his car to Musser automotive because his car would randomly start reving…read morethe RPMS up and down out of no where! We had already figured out that something within the alternator clip, an electrical short or intermittent connection was causing or at the very least contributing to this problem! I instructed my son to make sure musser was aware of this before they worked on his car! They changed the map sensor, and other components in the car and told him that this would fix the problem! After he got his car back I asked if they addressed the alternator connector issue and he informed me that they didn't have to. The problem wasn't that.... Fast forward six months, and the problem is back! No problem you might say, musser offers a warranty and guarantees their work?? My son takes his car back to musser, while it's still under warranty, and they diagnose it, after my son insists on showing them the issue with the alternator connector. Jason's response was "that's just a coincidence". The next day they call and inform my son that that was in fact what was wrong with the car. Then proceeded to tell him how much they were going to charge him for the fix... that's when I stepped in and asked about the warrenty and their work being guaranteed... I was told they would get back to me... yet the next day by 1pm we still hadn't heard anything! Drove up there to talk to Jason because he said we needed to talk to him face to face, yet when we get there he's "gone to the doctor". We ultimately decided to take the car somewhere else because at this point I just don't trust them to do the right thing! I was never expecting them to pay for the parts, but I was most definitely not expecting them to try and make money off the parts, charge a $75 fee for absolutely nothing, and charge for labor, after throwing a bunch of parts at a problem that they misdiagnosed, and was too arrogant and prideful to listen to what my son had already told them!! I'll never take another car to musser automotive, and if you're smart, you won't either!! I work for General Motors, and know a thing or two about cars, however, I never told my son to go in and demand anything be fixed a certain way. Just told him to make sure they were aware of this so that it could be corrected too!! $1200 down the hole for the first repair that fixed nothing..... unless you've got money to blow, find a different mechanic that actually knows what they're doing, and doesn't do guess work! Edit: No tantrum was thrown! I picked up the phone after Jason quoted my son a price to RE-fix his car after throwing parts at the car the first time that were unnecessary, and ask if they really ran their business like this? He guarantees his work, parts, diagnostics, labor. Well the diagnostic was incorrect, and had he listened, and simply tested the alternator connection, none of the other parts and labor would have happened.... Never once did I say I expected Jason to eat all the cost! But you can bet your hind end I expected them the cover the labor, and eat their $75 garage maintenance fee or whatever the crap they call it! Bottom line, Jason had an attitude with my son because I refuse to let a mechanic take advantage of a 20 year old kid, that would rather pay the money than to be even the slightest bit confrontational! But I'll gladly pay a mechanic, who knows what their doing and will honor their promises, twice the money that I will someone who refuses to admit they messed up and try to honor what they originally promised! Re-edit- I appreciate you not charging us for something we already diagnosed and told you about when he initially brought the vehicle in!! You have a good day sir!

My boss said he sees glue remnants on the part that is still attached to the roof, which indicates someone broke the base before I bought it, and it eventually fell off. Ever since I noticed it was broken a few months ago, I've been trying to find the antenna assembly at a decent price. I found it online for about $150 or more, but kept an eye on several salvage places in the area using their online databases. I finally found it recently at one in Greenbrier. That's a bit of a drive for me, and they are only open Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 5 PM, the same hours I am at work in Nashville. The guy I spoke to at TN Auto Salvage offered to see if one of their drivers would deliver it, and he found someone. I called them day before yesterday and today someone delivered it to me. They charged $45 for the antenna and base assembly, which they removed from the car for me, and another $10 for delivery. EXCELLENT service. I would highly recommend doing business with them if they have what you need.

This is my first ever negative review online. Period. However, I feel I should warn other prospective customers about Leachman. In a best case scenario they are negligent. In a worst case scenario they are guilty of odometer fraud - which is a felony offense. Here are the facts: In late January 2018 my wife totaled her car. We then decided to look for a Honda CRV for its high safety ratings (we have 2 small children). I scoured the web for every dealership within a 100 mile radius that offered a clean, low mileage CRV. I finally found a top line 2013 model that checked all the boxes at Leachman and then drove over an hour to test drive. However, even though the ad and odometer stated 22K miles the Carfax report stated 77K! When asked about this the sales manager, Melissa Elmore, said that it was a clerical error on Leachman's part and that they would fix the Carfax asap. The establishment seemed above board so I purchased the automobile in good faith (remember - my wife had no car and we both have full-time jobs). However, even though I trusted Leachman I took the precautionary measure of having the sales manager state on Leachman letterhead the error in reporting and that the mileage would be amended through Carfax to show the lower mileage (I can produce the actual letter). This was on February 3, 2018. It is now over 240 days later and not only has the issue not been resolved - but the sales manager is ignoring my repeated attempts to get answers (both phone and email which I can document). I sent my most recent email today telling the sales manager that Leachman had until the end of today to get me an update. Her reply? One line - "Elaine has been working on this. I will make sure that she has the email." Funny thing is - I had copied Elaine, the office manager on my original email. I then emailed Ms. Elmore back "This is not an update. This is just a reply. What is the update?" Naturally, I never received a reply back from Leachman. I am now done trying to work with Leachman and will report the incident as odometer fraud to the state motor vehicle department and the NHTSA as recommended by the DMV.org website. I can assure you that this will result in either remedying the mileage situation or felony fraud charges being brought against Mr. William Leachman and GM, David Jaggers. read more

We were pulling a camper from Ohio to Florida when our suspension warning light came on 14 miles north of Bowling Green. We called Leachman Buick at 4:30 on a Friday night and the super friendly service person said to drive right in and they'd take a look. We were so relieved. They treated us so well and just took care of everything. After scoping our Yukon Denali, they found that we needed a new suspension module, so we camped locally while they ordered the part. They worked us into their service schedule, got us in early and had us repaired by Tuesday noon. They did everything they promised. They took care of all the details. Their whole staff communicated excellently and all with a smile and wonderful customer service. Buyer beware, Leachman does not value customers or care after the sale. I purchase a vehicle from Leachman. While the deal was ok, I soon found that customer service and support are non-existant after the sale. Not only have they not corrected the sale issues, but warranty work as well Over 2 months trying to get into the promised service so far. They will not return calls or follow up as promised. I was literally told to find another dealer to fix the issues they promised to fix. read more

I'm not even sure that they are ASE certified.I've tried multiple times to get my vehicle fixed. Multiple times "something came up" and they couldn't keep the appointment. I even took off work a couple times and they still found a way to not be there(roof repair because of storm?) At one point Chris told me I had a toll bill that needed to be paid first. I said fine, send me an itemized bill and I'll pay it just so I can get my car fixed(at this point I'm convinced they're crooks or druggies‍)Nothing!!! The speed at which the service is completed is great; very quick turn around. But the availability of scheduling short-notice is fantastic. A previous Nissan we owned and had serviced at another dealer (we live out of town from this dealership) was at least booked ten days out! I have been telling everyone how great Don Franklin is to work with. One of our sons bought a pre-owned Ram from here June of 2024, similar experience. Definitely five stars.

Purchased my 2020 Encore GX from here. Check engine light was on. Part was on back order, ordered…read moreit. Came in, never heard from them. Take my car to get part put on and oil change, and they sent the part back. Tried to make it ALL my fault. Never heard from them when it was delivered or when they sent it back. I drive all the way from Nashville, and all they could do was "order the part again". Uhhh what about my time and gas? It wasn't their problem. I will be letting the joke of a warranty from them run out and will be going somewhere that knows how to communicate with their customers.
