They have classes in Concealed carry, Active Shooter, ALICE, Self-defense and others. The instructors are very knowledgeable and informative in their classes. Woman do not feel intimated...go take this class...know the laws...and obtain your CCW Permit. The instructor has expierence and it shows. He keeps class participants engaged and makes it fun. Not a dry boring class. if you have questions FB or email them they wil answer. Prices are fair and reasonable. After doing our research on many CCW classes we are so happy we went to In-Gauge of Polk County. So make your reservation TODAY for the next CCW Class you won' t be sorry you chose them.

This is an outdoor range which is significant in states with temperatures like Florida. In January and February, it's a great place to shoot. In the afternoons in July and August, not so much. That's why indoor ranges with AC are so popular here. The other issue is pistols or long guns and this place handles both. Lots of folks' love that! They are currently open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to the public. Other than temperature and open hours there is a lot to like here. They are priced right; around $15 for a day pass. Annual memberships are available which give you access every day of the week. The facilities are nice, and they often make improvements. The staff are friendly and proficient and incredibly safety conscious as they should be. They are family friendly as long as strict range safety is practiced. If you need to get some practice in without taking out a second mortgage, they would be a fine choice.

The military you will recognize the way they run the range. Coming from a self policing range/club it took some getting used to and added a lot of time to out shooting of strings. You have to stop at the "pro shop" and watch a video and sign a waiver. One and done after that. Good for any FWC range in FL. They had targets, cleaning gear and ammo. They staff was very friendly and the cost was just under 13 dollars for all day. They had a rifle range also but we shot on the 7yd and 25yd pistol ranges. Protip. You can shoot any caliber pistol on the pistol ranges. We had pistol caliber carbines and another guy was shooting a 300AAC pistol. A nice facility that was very busy on a Friday.

Always a five star experience…read more There is so much parking and depending on what you want to do you can park close to where you want to be. We always park close to the main playground and start there. It's actually a giant circle when you think about it, so we start at that playground then we move on to where there's the owl playground and the spinning carousels. Then we continue onwards to the treehouse, from the treehouse we go to where there's the main building where they had shaved ice and you can get food if you want then it's an easy walk back to the car. We always bring the kids scooters because the walk is a little far for them, they are five and seven. I did learn this time around that if you are older like my in-laws this park may be a little too spaced out, especially when it's hot outside. However, there is a tram that will bring you from place to place so we did end up taking the tram from the main building back to where we parked. We spent about an hour racing around just giant park. There is a lot of shade, but also you do need sunscreen. It is a majority outside and everyone knows how hot Florida gets. I think it is brilliant that at the main building they have shaved ice. Also, at the treehouse they sell drinks, a water bottle was three dollars, which was actually pretty reasonable so I got the kids water. Even though it's hot in Florida I really like the kids spending time outside so this is a fantastic place to spend a couple hours. I'm sure we could spend even more time here if we ever decide to check out rooftop bar or the food place, but for now we've only experienced the multitude of playgrounds. It never feels crazy, busy, but that's probably because it is so spread out that families can be all over this huge park.

They are similar to a carnival in my opinion. They have simple motion with lots of cute Peppa Pig theming. The best part of the day was certainly the splash pad. Our kids really loved the slides. Make sure you don't have zippers on your kids swimsuits, they do not allow zippers and will make you cover up or change. For food and drinks there is a restaurant but I highly suggest bringing your own foods and drinks. The prices are a little crazy in my opinion but on par with other theme parks. To me Peppa Pig is very sensory friendly. I would highly suggest for a child with sensory needs. My only complaint about Peppa Pig Theme Park is the lack of misters and fans throughout. Despite having a splash pad and shaded areas it's still very hot inside. Especially at the security check in area. Make sure you bring some fans. I would still return until my kids are sick of it. Great experience.

He changed the name of Watts Lake to Lake Wailes after himself. The city of Lake Wales was established near the lake in 1911-12 by the Lake Wales Land Company. The spelling Wales was used for the city, although the lake is still spelled Lake Wailes. The park is visually stunning. Under old oak trees dripping in Spanish moss sit picnic tables. On the north side of the lake is a boat ramp. There is a fishing pier on the west side of the lake with an observation gazebo that offers a beautiful view of the lake. The 2.5 mile Lake Wailes Trail, a lighted and paved hike/bike path winds through the park for exercise enthusiasts. It leads around the lake from the south side to Kiwanis Park on the northeast corner at N. Lake Shore Blvd. and Cephia St. It should be noted that there are no restrooms in the park. This passive park that is perfect for a stroll or a picnic lunch. It is also a great place for bird watchers. Migrating song birds can be spotted in the trees in spring and fall. Around the edge of the lake are Grackles and Red-winged Blackbirds. On the shore are Least Bitterns, White Ibises, Anhingas, Florida Sandhill Cranes and winter ducks. Common Loons inhabit the area in winter. The stately trees add to the old Florida look of the area and it easy to see why Mr. Wailes fell in love with the lake and view.
