Okay, so my issues are now fully resolved. I would say "it was quickly resolved" except... I got…read moreCovid... then the flu... then pneumonia... so I held off on getting them back in when they reached out. ...but then I discovered a leak. Christmas Day. Step out of a long, hot shower, and I noticed a pool of water on the floor (cue weird staring at a puddle on the floor wondering how it happened, like it'd retract and disappear). This lead to a "okay, when you have someone free, I need it checked out and will not be using the shower because I don't know how it's leaking, just that it's leaking." Monday: "We're getting someone lined up." Tuesday: "How's Friday?" Wednesday: "He'll be there between 9-10am" Friday: arrives, takes care of my concerns, and - redid the caulking to be sure the leak would stop from the "supposed" area (we felt it was in one area) - he redid another section "just in case" (you know, like with all things, "we fixed the obvious symptoms, but the problem is still there," so he did a couple extra things to hopefully cover all the bases. So... it's resolved (for now - I have to let it all dry, and I'll wait 24 hours, before I test it out). But after this issue, I'm pretty damn happy.

Five years ago my home in Chester Springs, PA. was hit by a serious hail storm. It did significant damage to our roof and copper flashing. I hired Universal Builders to handle the entire project, and boy did they do just that! They handled the relationship with the insurance company, they ordered the material, they scheduled the work, and they completed the job when they said they would. Fast forward 5 years to May of 2022. My summer home in Presque Isle, Michigan was hit by another hailstorm and my roof was damaged along with 1,700 homes in our area. I thought immediately of Universal, but was disappointed to read that they did not do residental roofs in Michigan. I called them anyway, and talked to an extremely polite and helpful woman who listened to my problem and said she would speak to the owners about my situation. Next thing I know I got a call from Jacob Noland. He said he was going to drive the 350 miles and take a look and make an assesment of my situation. He came to our house and told me that he would help me, and if he couldn't, he would find a contractor that could. Well, he, Eddie and Brittnay, Bobbie and Roger and everyone else found a way to do the same great jobs that they did 5 years ago in PA. They were all professional, polite, prompt and did what they said they were going to do. I hope I never see another hailstorm, but if I do, I know who I am going to call.

They will bill you and your insurance even after the job is finished and you have been final invoiced. They will supplement your insurance to fix their own mistakes. When you bring it up they ignore you and drag their feet hoping you give up. For me personally this led to over 7 thousand dollars in roof damage on a "brand new roof" as well as needing to replace windows and siding due to them dragging out patchwork repairs for almost 2 years. Almost $15,000 dollars later its a BIG NO FROM ME DAWG. (edit to add please review ALL reviews for this company-the owner's wife knowingly left a fake review on yelp to pad the reviews and I think they do the same elsewhere-there facebook is full of fake forex trading reviews.
