My wife and I were staying near Miltona and I had not been to this place since I started writing Yelp reviews. It has a real small town feel and they actually had a good IPA on tap. I was happy. It was Foggy Geezer, which is actually really good. Our waitress was nice and there was a good size crowd in here on a nice Sunday for lunch. I ordered the pulled pork hoagie and a side salad. It was a good size salad, they didn't have Caesar dressing, so I went with the blue cheese. The pulled pork was okay, a little sweet, but the roll was really good and it was filling. This place is worth a visit, if only because there are not a ton of restaurants around Miltona. I llked Chet's a little more, but I am glad I tried this place out. They do have a nice outdoor stage I remember and has live music at times. read more

Went w friends to meet more friends here on Saturday. Sorry for the remnant pics, didn't think to take them when the food came. It was a nice little dive bar with a good sized parking lot, but plenty of room for folks to park along the road too. Our servers were friendly and the food was good bar food. Definitely will stop in again when I'm in the area. read more

The Merc is everything you'd expect from a bar and grill in the middle of the country. The atmosphere is of a country bar whose staff is more interested in slinging beer than dusting for cobwebs. The front of the restaurant holds the bar and pool tables. The back has more tables in a more 'family friendly' atmosphere. This place has been a family favorite for years. The burgers are delicious. I'd recommend the chicken to anyone who enjoys greasy fried chicken. read more

I've always loved this place and was excited for it to be open again as the state loosens COVID restrictions, sadly I was very disappointed. This restaurant has followed almost none of the guidelines to ensure staff and patrons are safe. Every table inside was full, far exceeding 50% capacity, they were not spaced out for social distancing, no reservations, and no servers or cooks were wearing masks. I heard one server insist no more than 4 to a table, but that was it. The owners need to show they care about their employees and customers. I would be happy to recommend the restaurant if they would implement the basic COVID precautions, but until then we will not be giving the Merc our business. Please do better! read more

Went for their chicken special on a Wednesday night for the first time and it was OUTSTANDING! Great food with an unbelievable price. What a great local hang out! Have been here now for their Monday, Wednesday and Saturday specials and the food is consistently fantastic! Casual atmosphere and small town feel. First of all, don't be fooled by it's name- the Merc is NOT a Night Club by any stretch of the imagination! It is however an eclectic country bar and grill, with a great crowd of regulars, and a fun atmosphere. The food is solid bar food, but beware, the kitchen is rather slow. Bring a table game for the kids, or prepare to watch the baseball game on the flat screens! The bloody Mary's are the stars of their drink menu- the rest is pretty standard. You will find the Merc in the middle of absolutely NOTHING ville- so if you are headed out there, and think you are lost- you aren't- you'll get there, and it will be worth it, and something you won't forget. We were visiting some friends in Parker's Prairie, they recommended we eat at the Mercantile. I'm so glad we did. It is a bar & restaurant. We were there on Monday night which happened to be burger night. The burgers were only $1.50-$3.50 depending on which one. We also ordered their waffle fries & French fries which were good. Our bill for a regular hamburger & a California burger, both with fries & pop was UNDER $10. I couldn't believe it. Two people can't eat at McDonalds for that. They had live music that night. We were glad they had a second room where we could eat which was quieter. The music was nice, just too loud for us. This is definitely a local favorite in a tiny town. It can get busy on certain nights. The servers were very nice and made us feel welcome. We would definitely go back. read more

There is nothing remotely healthy on the menu. GMO chicken and beef, but if you are going to eat healthy 100% of time, stay home. They do have great bar food! Service is good, unless you happen to hit a super busy time, like $$burger night on Mondays, or Taco Tuesday at dinner time. Staff is friendly and prices are good. TV's all over and they will turn to a channel you want. All in all a good place to go! read more

My experience here was good. It was taco tuesday when I went. I have never been anywhere that gives you a taco that big for just $1. I got there right when the softball players showed up, but the kitchen and staff seemed to keep up just fine. I recommend eating here. read more
