this company is a scam . they bait and switch people into thinking they get the filter system and just install regular gutterss know somepeople cannot get to the rooftops to check. this company also hires illegals to do there installs. Do not let them onb your property ! Run them off and and go online to file with Border Patrol and ICE.. Not only did they do bait and switch they did not even paint the facia boards on the replacement. Getting a hold of someone in there local official is impossibble and when you do get a hold of them they deny everything and then offer to cvharge you more money as a favor to fix it. I was given all discounts. Funny, nothing on contract about senior discount or special on guttering. Never did receive written itemization. I bowed to pressure and signed that day. I had LeafFilter give me an estimate for gutters and with the leaf filter. My house is not big. First quote was over $16k. Then I could get a discount and it could be done for $13k. Then the sales person made a phone call. Suddenly, I could get a one-day only deal of just over $4k. Sound fishy? We called Leaf filter to come out & measure our house, to reinstall our gutters & add a leaf filter ( guard). They came out, gave us a price, i was impressed with the product. We were told the price and it was within our budget after all the negotiating. We had been saving up to have the work done, my wife & I are both retired, They did a great job and the installer was great and had us done by mid day, and they stayed in my budget range, very happy with the work they did. read more

So my dad (he's 84 and thankfully sharp as a tack because he was preyed upon by the leaf filter representative.) He set up an appointment for an estimate for leaf filter and told the estimate would be good for a year. The rep showed up 3 days ago. As he was surveying the gutters he kept saying things like "Wow!! you sure have a lot of gutters! and These gutters are in BAD shape." My dad has a 1,400 sq ft home and the smallest in the neighborhood. Also, my dad is a retired contractor. The rep didn't know this. My dad knew the gutters were not in bad shape. He was interested in some type of screen over them because he's older and doesn't want to clean the gutters. So the guy gave him an estimate of $31,000. My dad wasn't interested and thanked him for his time. Then he said well since you're a veteran and a senior I can give it to you for$21,00 or I can just replace your gutters only, no screen for $7,000. BUT he said you HAVE to sign up now and pay. The offer is ONLY good for today. My dad thanked him and sent him away. Talk about high pressure sales! He's had a couple more estimates and he got a reputable company to seal the gutters in a few places AND put screens over them so no more cleaning the gutters! They said the gutters are in pretty decent shape. Just needed a couple places sealed. My dad already knew that. He built this home and always kept it well maintained and like I said he's a retired contractor. The total cost will be $968. Shame on you leaf filter!!! read more

We were in the process of getting a new roof installed. I called them back, told the Lady we were ready for install, asked if they could come back out again, as we had a few small changes. We had been saving up to have the work done, my wife & I are both retired, the roof cost us a lot. I just wanted to know, prior to the install if the price was going to change, due to the small changes I mentioned. What we didn't want was for us to have them do all install & work, only to find out it was going to cost more then what we have saved for. So the Lady said she would have manager call us. 4 days later no call. I called back a 2nd time, talked to Lady, explained the situation, she said manger would call.waited about week, no call. Called the 3rd time, explained to this Lady, it was my 3rd time calling, explained to her our situation, said to her, guess Leaf Filter didn't want our business. She apologized, said she promise a manager would call. Few days later, received a call from the manager, said he had been sick, but the following week he would come out. Following week, no manager, no call, nothing. It's now going on 2 weeks, so I assume they decided not to follow through with the work, or wasn't interested in doing the job. It would have been nice to get a phone call, but nothing. I'm a retired Sheetmetal mechanic, I've done gutters, but at 64, I can't do it alone, have no help, so I wanted to hire it out. I was a project Superintendent my last 10 years, it was my job to coordinate with customers, if I said I would be there, or we would start a job on a certain day, we did.
