Shawn did a project for me that initially looked like a long term fix. After I saw some settling a year or so later I reached out to Shawn and he agreed to come out and take a look. After the meeting Shawn said he would be out within about two weeks to come take care of the issue with a little more lifting. Now a year later after texts, phone calls and emails that have all been ignored I am sitting with an issue and no warranty repair. Shawn was eager to talk about his warranty and his website boats of an industry leading 5 year warranty but do not believe it! It is just sad because my fix is so easy and he is still has no follow through and does not care about honoring our contract. Look elsewhere for your project.

He replaced the broken bricks throughout the chimney, relayed the top two layers of brick, recapped the chimney, and put in a new flue block. I did have an issue with billing as well and that will not be resolved based on the email I got back. Restoration work is more difficult than new construction, since it involves walls and surfaces that may not be straight, antique cabinetry, more abundant and varied millwork, and much already in place that has to be worked around. Neither job was simple, and our current job has presented extra challenges in fitting stone (and a weird sized sink) into existing original cabinetry. Measuring and fabrication was more difficult, and they had to return to adjust a piece due to a very tight fitting issue. We have been so grateful to work with a family company with experience and the determined perfectionistic commitment to getting things right no matter the unique challenge presented to them.
