We had our engagement photo session with Erin back in September 2019 and it was perfect! She sent us a detailed guide for preparing for the engagement shoot and suggested the perfect location. During the shoot, she gave us clear directions on posing and made the photoshoot so much fun, which was no easy feat considering that it got pretty windy and cold by the end and I was borderline hangry from not really eating much the whole day since I didn't want to mess to my makeup. Erin sent us our sneak peek gallery the very next day and they were absolutely gorgeous! She also sent us a sweet little surprise in the mail to thank us for the engagement session, which just showed how she goes above and beyond for her couples. I made sure to subscribe to Erin's newsletters and found them very useful since I'd never planned a wedding before. All throughout the whole wedding planning process, Erin checked in with me periodically and was very responsive to my questions. When we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID in 2020, Erin was super sweet and understanding about it and let us postpone without any additional fees. We know that 2020 was a hard year for all wedding vendors, so we wanted to be sure to mention this. On the day of our wedding in 2021, Erin arrived right on time and was very efficient. She got started right away and made our wedding party feel right at ease. My now husband and I didn't really have a plan in mind of where we wanted to have our photos done, so it was really great that Erin took charge and guided us through the whole process. Erin was a total pro and we knew we were in good hands, so we were both fairly calm and relaxed during the day, considering that it was our wedding day. We also want to shout-out to Erin's second shooter, Cindy, who ran around the (very spacious) venue looking for my veil after the ceremony for our photoshoot. I had taken it off after the ceremony and my bridesmaid had taken it back into the venue for safekeeping. We are so thankful she located it because the photos with the veil were stunning! Erin gave us over a hundred sneak peek photos the very next day. Can it even be called a sneak peek at that point? It was an incredibly quick turnaround, especially since the quality was amazing! We loved being able to share the photos with our loved ones, especially since a lot of people were not able to make it, and reliving that beautiful day. I am giving one star for the team (because they were super sweet and happy) and NO stars for Sarah (the owner). I attended the Wounded Warrior Battalion ball this year and I was excited about pictures as I am every year. Every year I get a digital image and no prints. I don't care for prints. This year I asked for help with the form and the first young lady helping me was confused with it as well, so she sent me to the cashier. I stated I wanted one digital image for one pose. Simple. I was told it also came with one print of every size listed and she asked if I wanted to pick up at the battalion or pay extra for shipping. I paid extra for shipping as we don't go to the battalion anymore. Awesome. I pay extra for shipping and head to take our picture. I am pregnant, and the photographer was so sweet and said let me take some more poses. So, she does. After the poses are done, she said she will just send them all to us because they are so great. Wow, thanks! My husband and I were so excited as this pregnancy is a miracle baby and we are just so blessed to capture this journey. This is Sarah's reply.... She said that I am the only one out of the entire battalion that is having a problem with the order form and that the form was very clear so there is no way there was any sort of issue. She also said it's my word against her teams' word and that her team is going to deny it, which is already telling me I'm not going to get what I was told I was ordering because she's already denying it for her team and clearly making me out to be a liar. She mentioned many times her team is highly trained, and they don't mess up. I told her it's fine if they mess up, no one is perfect, and she proceeded to say that she didn't say they were perfect but with this issue, her team doesn't mess up. Now the cherry on top was how many times she said her order forms are checked twice and I wouldn't have been charged for shipping if they went to the battalion for pick up. Well, I have a receipt that says clearly, I paid for shipping and I did not receive the images here at my residence. They are at the battalion. Somehow, even with proof of a receipt, I'm still wrong and if I paid for shipping, they would have been shipped to me. This owner mentioned at the end that I was trying to get something for free, so her defensive attitude shows laziness by making that an excuse, so the customer looks bad and she doesn't have to have good customer service. Even if her art is great, I would NOT go with this photographer in the event there is a minor, minor issue. That teeny, tiny problem will be your fault because remember, she is perfect and so is her team and you are just trying to get free stuff. If any Marine Corps events are looking into this business, find someone else. She doesn't even have a background with an American Flag and a Marine Corps Flag. What business has been doing this for 12 years (she repeated that to me) and doesn't have the flags for a Marine Corps ball? This business owner is an all-around FAIL.
