LIANNA IS A COUPLE'S MAGICAL VIDEO FAIRY GODMOTHER. Mauricio and I got married in a SURPRISE wedding ceremony in Fullerton, California in January 2018. Our photographer referred us to Lianna of Elle Lily Photo/Bride as they had worked together many times before and had grown a mutual admiration for each other's work and positive vibe. Upon our first phone consult, I explained to Lianna our vision for surprising everyone we knew with our wedding surprise (our guests all thought they were headed to a birthday party) and our desire to capture their reactions all on film to relive the moment over and over for years to come. Lianna did not disappoint. I feel like it's important to tell you about the actual wedding day. It was chaotic as Mauricio and I, our officiant, and vendors were the only ones in on the surprise. Because of this extremely small circle in the know, there was A LOT to do all the way up to the 9th hour and definitely not a lot of extra hands or time. Our vendors, unbeknownst to them, would became our unofficial bridal party - we ran ideas through them during the planning process, they frantically helped us get the family favors complete when we ran out of time, and they kept our spirits up and energized as the minutes counted down to our big reveal. Lianna was always quick to respond to emails, she was exuded positivity and enthusiasm, and was enjoyable to chit chat with! Sharing such a huge secret with Lianna and getting her enthusiastic support really enhanced the bond that we felt with her throughout the whole wedding process. The day of the birthday/wedding, Lianna and Danny arrived on time, and immediately radiated such a cohesive vibe with our photographer, make-up artist, and venue lead - It was like we had a crew of amazing superheroes all working together in perfect harmony. We did our getting ready footage, first look, and interviews before our guests arrived. During the event, I can't say that I noticed Lianna & Danny at all...they seamlessly blended into our guests raising their glasses of specialty cocktails, shrieking when the wedding was announced, and watching in awe as the helicopter dropped us for the ceremony. But boy, were they present and engaged - their work proved it. Less than a week after our wedding, Lianna kept us on our wedding high by sending over a one-minute Instagram preview of our wedding highlight. The music, the angles, the transitions, the moments her and Danny caught - it was pure art, they have a true gift. A month later, we received our full highlight video. I couldn't believe the elements they caught on film and how thoughtfully they put it all together. We didn't go into the wedding with any strict guidelines for Lianna other than we wanted to see a lot of people's true reactions - and that we trusted her artistic creativity and couldn't wait to see what she came up with. Our lack of directions paid off as we couldn't stop watching Lianna's finished product when we received it and wanted to share it with anyone that we came in contact with. Mauricio totally beamed with pride as he got his entire crew at the firestation to watch it on the big screen during dinner one night and they all commented about how cool it was! It was obvious from the video that Lianna was able to really capture us, our spunk, our love, the genuine thrill of the surprise, and the love and support we were surrounded by during our wedding. Me and wife chose Lianna to do our wedding video and it was the best decision we made. She was great! she came out to the venue to do a walk through and captured our special day in the best possible way. We did not provide much direction and let her create a video how she saw fit. Even though our wedding party was rushing to start the ceremony and we missed our time to mic up, she was able to still incorporate our wedding vows into the video. I have used Elle Lily for every single photographed moment since I was pregnant with my first son. We did a boudoir session, maternity session, newborn/ fresh 48, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and his one year birthday cake smash photos. We did family photos as well. I HIGHLY recommend Elle Lily for any type of photography or videography sessions you may need! My services were incredibly personal compared to other reviews here, being as i schedule a Boudoir session with Lianna at her home studio. To put things into perspective, I have been sick for 10 years with Ulcerative Colitis and i visit the ER at least 5 times a year. My weight fluctuates between 100lbs-130lbs and I have months of bloating and swelling on my face and stomach from high doses of Prednisone. I rarely wear clothing that isn't sweats or leggings with a baggy men's t-shirt. I arrived shy, timid, and noticeably uncomfortable in my own skin. I didn't know where to begin. That's when Lianna stepped in calmly and began directing me with a warming smile. She set the mood to be more light and playful with some music of my liking before we began. She had me truly relax before any camera was out. Once i was ready, we started with simple poses so she could find out which angles worked for my body, but more importantly, which poses were comfortable for me. Boudoir sessions involve a good amount of stretching and contorting, so they aren't the most comfortable photos to take. Lianna was on top of that too, providing lush pillows and fur blankets for me to lay or kneel on (that worked with my outfits and the decor, btw) Our session lasted for over an hour and by the time i was finished, i had done 6 outfit changes (and had a mild workout lol!). I have never felt more in tune with what my body can do and i have never felt more confident in my own skin. Allowing someone to see all of you, REALLY all of you, isn't easy for anyone, especially with a camera involved. There were no filters or special lighting. Just Lianna with her camera in mid-day light and her direction and comfort. SHE made me look and feel beautiful. I ended up giving the photos as a Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend because she made me feel so confident in myself again. It's not just taking photographs. A real photographer can do it all, from being your honest truth to being your biggest fan, and that's who Lianna is. read more

When we started looking for a photographer, Lianna was just starting out. From the few pictures she had, I knew I wanted to at least meet and see if it would be a good fit for us and it was. We had our engagement photos taken by Lianna and we absolutely loved our photos. This made any possible hesitations we had disappear instantaneously. As we got closer to the day, we had met up to do a walkthrough of the areas we would be at so that we could plan the day better. My husband and I got married in October in Temecula, CA. We hired Lianna from Elle Lily Photography for our wedding photography and we couldn't be happier!!! From the start, she was always very easy to communicate with and super accommodating with scheduling and traveling to LA for our engagement shoot. At the engagement shoot, she made us feel so comfortable, guiding us through every pose and preparing us for what our big day will feel like. I loved her energy and her overall vibe - right then and there I knew we had made the right choice. When we got the engagement pics back, we were blown away. She made us look so good!! I really liked the romantic, moody style of her pics. On our wedding day, I appreciated that she and her associate were ON IT with everything. We knocked out details photos, first look and almost all of the family and friends photos before the ceremony even started, giving us more time to party later.
