Noddy's is one of the few places I have been where the hairdressers do what you actually ask for... I've been here quite a few times and have had a few different hairdressers - they've all been helpful and patient. I'm particularly grateful to one staff member who talked me down off the metaphoric ledge when I declared I wanted to turn my dark brown, undamaged hair blonde (I'd had a bad week...). Coffee, tea and magazines are all plentiful... the shampoo and massage experience is great (mmmmm... heeeead massaaaaage...) and it's a friendly, not-so-cool-its-intimidating place. The price isn't cheap but is far from unreasonable and, so far, noone has tried to push expensive and unwanted products down my throat (a pet hate at other salons). So... on behalf of the "virgin" haired women out there (apparently my undyed/untreated hair is a virgin), I recommend a trip to Noddy's. Try somewhere else if you're determined to go wild and make radical changes... but for a reliable, quality hair experience, this place is great.

Each and every time I left Noddy's I felt fabulous... and that's what you want to feel like when you leave a hair salon. I know a lot of people who leave their hairdressers thinking it'll be better when they get home and do it themselves, but to me the best you should feel is the moment you leave. To be fair, it may help that they have a fairly extensive alcohol menu. Only once in my years of visiting Noddy's did I have an issue. The colour they put in my hair didn't stick. In true Noddy's form when I called to tell them, they apologised profusely, fit me in the very next weekend and not only fixed it, but gave me a bunch of free treatments to take home. This is one of my favorite salons. They have several…read morewonderful women working here, all of the most friendly and remember what you talked about last time along with what colour/style you prefer. They have standard hours, open 9am to 5pm most days, until 9pm Thursday's and until 4pm Saturday's, not open Sunday. They do any style you would like, I've seen people come in and have all their hair cut off, others gone from dark to light, some with intricate designs. I have waist length hair and every time I come I let the girls style my hair however they like which they all enjoy. You can see them wracking their brains to try to come up with something new and exciting. I've been here when plenty of kids come through and they usually are able to keep them entertained while getting their hair done, either by changing the channel on the tv or having one of thee other girls distract them. As a regular myself I've noticed they have a ton of other regulars. I would highly recommend everything come to this salon.
