Marion is such a great teacher! Her one on one approach to teaching French is really helping me get past the hurdles of not feeling confident enough to speak. I am over 65, and my brain just is not working as fast as it used to. Our family has been so blessed to have found Marion and to take part in her "Learn French with Marion" kids program. My 3-year-old daughter has been taking "classes" with Marion for over a year now, and the progress she's made is beyond what I could have hoped for. After just a few story-times, my daughter started memorizing and singing songs in French--something I didn't expect to happen so quickly! Marion's classes are thoughtfully designed, incorporating songs, books, playful activities (like using a parachute, every kid's favorite!), and foundational learning like the alphabet, colors, and numbers. Marion also goes above and beyond by bringing toys for the kids to share after class, giving them time to play together and interact. What has truly amazed me is how Marion has a way of putting even the shyest of kids at ease. My daughter, who is naturally reserved, started participating more confidently in class after a few months, and now she can proudly recite the entire French alphabet, along with numbers until 10, and a few songs that Marion usually plays. Beyond the language skills, this experience has brought so much more to our lives. Marion has created such a warm and welcoming environment, and through her classes, we've connected with an incredible community of local moms. It's been such a joy to see my daughter not only learning a third language, but also forming friendships and having fun along the way. I started my French classes with her about 6 weeks ago. I am a mostly self taught French learner and at the time of my first lesson with Marion I felt 100% unable to speak any French at all even though I was technically a B1 student. It was confusing and my vocabulary wasn't enough to express my thoughts in French. Here I am 6 weeks into my French learning journey with Marion and I already feel confident handling a conversation in French. She helped me get creative with my speech, use my verbs in a proper way, most importantly use my vocabulary.
