if i could give a big fat 0 i would.. first of all we were not helped nor approached when entering the strore. live in flushing ny so from our location the nearest store is in port washington. went with our granddaughter one rainy weekend..spent over $70 when we arrived home one of the slime purchase we made was absolutely gross.. rather than going all the way back from flushing ny - we mailed it back in a seal baggie and then in a padded envelope. wrote a note explaining the item was damaged, our granddaughter was disappointed and the drive was just too far.. i included my name and phone number and we asked if a new product can be mailed to our granddaughter. well this happened in sept 2024 and TO DATE NOT ONE CALL NOR LETTER AND NO MERCHANDISE. SHAME ON YOUR AND YOUR LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE, for those looking for a store with learning items go to LAKESHORE LEARNING it is a GREAT STORE AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE NICE POLITE AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL.... read more

I want this store closed and upgraded with manners and respect for others. One day I came over for a visit to see my friends and I went to this new store that recently opened. We went to the front of the store and looked at the plushies they had when suddenly we were disturbed by a young white bald man (one of our friends had a clear-ish bag and the other with a plain green backpack.) He accused us of stealing a "dollar plushie," and thought the money my friend had in his bag was a plushie, but how does a flat jaw-string bag look like it has a big plushie inside? He also came for my sister who had the green backpack. I am frustrated by the accusations of this man. He made us take our bag and show him, even though you could see what was inside of his bag. That should not be allowed. He kept going about us stealing because we looked different than the others. In the store, other kids had the same bag and were with a different set of friends. To the man, please stop accusing kids who look different. We were in fact not stealing. I feel disrespected and disgusted by the service provided. We couldn't last 5 minutes without a group of people staring at us the minute we entered the store. We felt uncomfortable. Please fix this service and the manners of this man. Thank you. read more

This store has many great options for kids toys and learning activities. However, The $16 plastic slime , unfortunately looks like an expensive, wasteful environmentally , and useless gimmick and was in the center of the store. Also disappointing was a pack of construction paper costing $15 , when compared to just about any other store, it costs about $5. Come on, Learning Express, and learn that our families deserve a little better! read more
