Great little shop. Feels like a step above a dollar store. You still find great deals like $5.00 for a table cover, but you also find a larger selection of crafts, decor and other items. I have been going to Raindew for years and they were currently taken over by On Point ( new management - same location) I have to say that my experiences with On Point have been wonderful. I love the former in house Pharmacist Maria who left with the management change but I have been pleasantly surprised by Nick and the present pharmacy staff! My husbands insurance moved to mail order. Not happy to leave Raindew/ On Point. Last week I hade been searching for a medication that my insurance would not cover, had been back ordered most other places and is very expensive!! I was getting the runaround with OptumRx and was at my wits end - so I decided to try Raindew/ On Point. I called and spoke to Nick. He not only knew that he had the medication (available the next day) but was able to locate a coupon and got me a significant discount! I didn't even ask for the coupon he went out of his way to get it!! BRAVO to all and their professional and personal excellence!! read more

Just had a bad experience at Raindew Manhasset. We purchased an iron on June 3 from Raindew. It turns out the iron leaks. We brought it back yesterday and the manager told us we needed a store receipt. We went home, found the original receipt and went back to the store today. The manager said it's not his problem, we should go to Black & Decker. We make an effort to deal with neighborhood stores. Next time we'll go to Bed & Bath, they take back defective merchandise without any questions. read more

This store is the most useful in all of Manhasset. It has everything odd that you need every day. It is always so well stocked and the prices are GREAT. Everything you can possibly need is here. Kitchen ware of plates, serving utensils, coffee makers and tools. Household appliances of irons and vacuums. All the cleaning items you can think of. Bug killers. Cosmetics. Lotions. Great gift wrapping supplies. A pharmacy. Surgical equipment. Light bulbs. School supplies. Seasonal decor. All bathroom supplies such as towels and shower mats and shelves. Relaxation clothing like sweatpants, sweatshirts, plain t shirts and pajamas. They have a huge sock selection. Hair products and supplies. "As seen on tv" products. A HUGE toy selection and even some simple sports gear. They have EVERYTHING. This store also has parking in the back. Registers are in the front and back so you never have to wait long to check out. Only setbacks is that the store is a little awkward. I go to the raindew in Bayside sometimes and the setup is more organized and user friendly. You can find things very quickly there but not so much in this Manhasset location. Also the lady at the front register is sometimes very rude and almost deters you from coming back. On multiple occasions she was unfriendly and extremely curt to me and i hear the same thing from locals around the area. She gives off a bad attitude. She doesn't make you feel like a valued customer like the other local stores in Manhasset. Anyway. Great store and I'm always there! :) read more

I have always loved this pharmacy and have been using it for years as a local of the neighborhood. I never had a problem until I dealt with a woman named Jodi when preparing prescriptions. Extremely rude, condescending and anything but helpful. Her attitude was if I was inconveniencing her to be asking for my medication to be refilled and if it was possible that this afternoon's delivery man could send it. I got home from work at 11pm that evening without my anti-anxiety medication because of her incompetence and lack-of-caring personality. The sleepless night went on with panic attacks because this woman was too busy being inconsiderate and anything but polite. I am now switching my pharmacy because of her, even though i love my pharmacists at Raindew. I don't ever want to take the chance of her handling my medications - very irresponsible and disappointing. If you use this pharmacy, Maria is the absolute best. I was unfortunate to have missed her that day. read more

Bought some cream and when I went back to get a different size, the Manager, Frank, decides to make a joke about the cashier should make sure to wash her hands. After my girlfriend told me, I went back to tell the manager off and instead of apologizing, he flat out denies it even though the cashier admits it and says what can she do? He's the Manager. How awful for a manager of a drug store to be snickering and making jokes at the customers expense every time they buy something. Is he judging a person for buying a condom? How about medication? He's a poor excuse of a human being and should be fired for such terrible behavior. read more

This place is amazing!! Not only does it everything you could possibly imagine but it has great customer service. When you walk in, everyone greets you with a smile. The best cashiers I've had so far are these two young women, Emma and Ari (She had an exotic name but she told be to call her this). They knew everything about this store and were too kind. All of the managers are so respectful but my favorite is the one that sings, I think his name is Andrew. At first I was caught off guard, but his voice is so angelic!!! I have been shopping at Raindew since I moved to Roslyn around 10 years ago. From my experience I can only say it has gotten better and better. It carries everything from toys to light bulbs to the pharmacy. Whenever my kids get ill I always have the prescription filled at Raindew just because it is so convenient, Maria in the pharmacy is amazing she seems to know every face that walks in the door because she is so friendly with everyone. Recently when I came in I got a little upset when I heard my favorite cashier has gone away to college. Her name was Emma and whenever I came in to get power-ball tickets I was always greeted with a huge smile not only was she kind, she was efficient. Never have I ever seen someone run the register by themselves so productively. But in the end I'm giving Raindew 5 stars for their Stock, Parking, and the Genuinely Nice Staff. 10/10 read more

Our residents take regular trips here for shopping. They especially love the stationary department for their postcard and greeting card needs. This store is also good for when they need to buy sewing supplies at a good price. We go on a weekly basis if not more! read more
