I have never experienced any sales associate with as much patience as A.K. and Jackie. I visited the store twice within two weeks of traveling from CT. There were products I could not find and there was Jackie. I had trouble with the laminator and messed up a bunch of my material, at no fault to the machine or associates, but here was A.K. to my rescue. With such grace, A.K. took over 20 minutes to remove laminating plastic from my items so that I could laminate them again. There are several choices teachers can choose to shop. My number only choice is at this Lakeshore location in Scarsdale, NY.

I know this sounds like a paid advert but after searching Amazon for quality items for my two littles, both under 6 right now, and always worrying about the quality I love this place. After the event we picked up two eggs that hatch when left in water for a couple of days, one unicorn and one dinosaur, my girl is so protective of her unicorn egg it melted me. We also picked up this set of 4 animals tiger, elephant, alligator, and giraffe. The head, body, and legs are connected by magnets so you can mix an match. My little boy decided the best way to separate the pieces is to drop the thing on the floor. So far they've all held up to his gentle mercies. I'm sure we'll be back.

As a poet and Yelper I have tons of journals and have a predilection for medium ball point pens; however due to lack of time I was unable to freely browse. I always have a predilection for stationery as the traditional method of pen and paper will always work should something happen to smartphones or computers. Customer service is very efficient and attentive as the male associate knew exactly what I was seeking and my immediate need for a rubber stamp. My stamp was readily available for pickup the next day without any issues. I wish this shop was in Manhattan. Store business card is available printed in thermography printing method on linen paper with the store hours. Tannen's is very accessible by 2 and 5 trains at Third Avenue - 149 Street station.
