What a lovely toy store. My son wants a cat for his birthday. We compromised on a cat stuffed animal which is not that easy to find however I found two at Learning Express. I thought the prices were fair, customer service was excellent. I normally buy gifts on Amazon and at Target however I will be coming to support this local small business from now on. I've only ever been here a couple of times looking for Squishmallows. This location is pretty far from me about an hour. The squishmallows are overpriced. They have an instagram page and they posted this morning that they had gotten some new ones in and one specifically that I was looking for! They stated in the post that they would not be taking phone orders or putting any on hold for anybody. I arrived to the store, and the one I was looking for, was not there. I asked if they had it in the back and they told me that they did not have any more of it. Then, I saw who I assume was the owner on the phone with a customer and I overheard her saying she would put a Squishmallow on hold from the same squad they just put out this morning. She said since they are on their way she would hold it for them and then proceeded to grab it from the back and put it behind the counter. First off I thought you all stated on Instagram that no holds from this squad are allowed? Second off if I would've known you are doing holds I would've called because I just drove an hour for there to be no clips and for you to do a hold right infront of me. read more

Absolutely love this store. Not only do they have great toys for all children ages, but they offer regular princess book readings. My daughter loves getting dressed up like a princess and going to read a book, sing, take a picture with, dance, and get a "tattoo" with a princess. It seems to be a different princess every time we go! They even give out a little bag of popcorn and a water. It is such a sweet little environment. read more

Love the variety of different learning toys here but the Staff was very rude even to the point of passive aggressively thinking I was stealing! Called someone in, called me a fidgeter and more than sure he went to the back to check the cameras. Just because I didn't have my hair and make up did - long day of running errands in preparation for my sons second birthday! Must've thought I didn't have money. Because they also didn't want to accept a gift card I was trying to use. Asking if I had original holder it came in and when I got it - saying it was from an "old system" they wanted me to leave them the gift card, leave my name and phone number and they would call me. I think they used this excuse to stall me while he searched the cameras as well. Hope they feel stupid. Very rude service and will not go back or recommend. Who treats another human being like this? Yall should seriously be ashamed! People will never forget how you make them feel. I will be making the return soon. read more

Absolutely LOVED this store! I purchased a Sharing Spree awhile back and my son's birthday was coming up so I decided to use it and let him pick something for himself. The store was absolutely fabulous... the boys immediately starting investigating everything on the shelves. There were your typical toys like legos... but then there were also so many interesting toys that my boys have never seen before... and what I really enjoyed most about Learning Express Toys is that they have great quality products that allow your children to have fun while learning... whether they be motor skills, sensory skills, social... they have a toy for every developmental/learning skill of a child. And to make it even more inviting... everything is reasonably priced and they have super friendly staff! I think from now on... this will be where I do most of my present shopping for toys for my boys, children bdays, and of course... for the kid's at heart who still like an interesting game or a mind bending puzzle! I was introduced to this store through Sharing Spree and each time my children and I go, we are always greeted with smiles. The store staff is very helpful and they even have toys to try out in designated areas of the store. We purchased a mini trampoline for my youngest daughter's birthday and it has been a great gift. Not only was it a "special price," but they also allowed us to use our Sharing Spree on top of it, which made it an excellent deal. Keep an eye out for their flyers if you are on their mailing list because they send you coupons. Excellent store and service. Glad to have them in the neighborhood! read more

My favorite "fun" store! You don't have to buy just toys for kids here although they have a great selection. I like to buy necklaces and games for adults here. I can describe to an employee what type games I like to play and they can guide me to the perfect new game...infact, they sometimes have a sample one to show me a demonstration. In my opinion you can't get much better than that. I don't have grandchildren yet but they even have gifts for babies, toddlers, all the way up. I have shopped here often and am not only shocked at how much more expensive the toys they carry are than everwhere else, but the one time I needed to make a return they refused because I did not have the receipt - even though the entire transaction was recorded in their system as I always make my purchases under my name and am a member of their "rewards" program. A few weeks ago I purchased a deal through Sharing Spree for Learning Exoress Toys. I had never heard of the store since I live in Mount Juliet, but it looked like a good deal. It was for $20 worth of toys for $10 and I thought worst case I could use it to purchase a gift for someone if my daughter didn't see anything she liked. So we headed in over the weekend to check it out. I was in awe from the second I walked in the door. It was huge and my daughter was immediately in heaven. While my husband and I perused the overflowing shelves, my daughter had a blast riding the scooters, turtles, etc. that are set up for the kids to ride around the made up track. It was so inviting to both kids and adults, and the selection was amazing. There was a large selection of toys for every age (including my hubby). There were books, puzzles, Melissa and Doug toys, science toys, items to be personalized, bags, jewelry, and much much more. Our quick trip lasted an hour and we had a hard time narrowing down what we were going to buy. We wanted it all, and the prices were great. We finally decided on a gift for my daughter, and I went to pay while my husband took my daughter outside. When I was paying the sweet cashier (who had offered to help us many times during our visit) asked if I wanted my purchase wrapped. I asked if it cost more and she said no. So not only did I get a great gift, I got it gift wrapped as well! I was thrilled! I will definitely be back to shop really soon! read more

A few months ago, I purchased a Sharing Spree deal for Learning Express Toys in Cool Springs. I've been in the store on occasion and always had good experiences, and yesterday was no exception. It happened to be Small Business Saturday, and the store was also running a 20% storewide sale. We went in there to finish up Christmas shopping for some of our family, specifically our youngest daughter Emily, and found some great deals on quality toys from Skip Hop and Melissa & Doug (two of our favorite brands!). When we went to check out, the sales staff was incredibly helpful as we split up transactions to best maximize our Amex credits for Small Business Saturday and our Sharing Spree redemption. And the best part...my 2.5-year-old daughter was able to ride scooters, push shopping carts, and bounce on a trampoline while we shopped. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Learning Express Toys to anyone with kids in their life! read more
