What I got instead was several weeks of back and fourth emails, and a check that was finally recieved via snail mail aka USPS. I thought: "FINALLY", cause... hey, we're talking a little over $1,800. I go to deposit it and lo and behold.. IT'S NOT SIGNED. Yes, seriously, they sent me an unsigned check. From there, I went back to the email thread, going back and forth a million times with accounting and random people who never introduced themselves. An aggressive email from a random staff member named Patricia, who never introduced herself or her role in the whole situation. I didn't receive any phone calls, no apology, no accountability. Weeks go by, and I don't receive another check, so I filed a dispute with my bank after attempting to resolve this for over a month. Guess what? I finally heard back from accounting. They tried to get me to cancel my dispute so that they could issue a check again. I said nope! Thankfully, a week or so later, my bank was able to refund me the entire amount after literally faxing them our email thread and the unsigned check. Please do not bring yourself or your children here. The staff here is unprofessional and incompetent and needs to brush up on their customer service. Avoid. At. All. Costs.

This not only impacts the children, but also leads to high staff turnover and a lack of consistency in care. Families are paying premium rates, but the investment in staffing does not reflect that. Starting with the staff, the first thing you will notice is that every teacher embodies love and compassion, and respect for kids. Each person is nurturing, kind, and truly enjoys being around each child. As far as programming the focus is play based plus structured activities with a ton of hands on art and outdoor time. Letters and numbers are also practiced frequently. They just completed a gardening unit that was a big hit. One favorite activity is dance parties for the littles and there are no screens! This is rare. Little Angels emphasize multicultural, inclusive, non-religious, multi lingual learning. And they provide all meals and snacks, wholesome and fun vegetarian foods. The building is bright, open, and non-cluttered, with separate classrooms for the babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers. However they all interact on a daily basis and class sizes have very low teacher:student ratio. Ms. Bhavya goes out of her way to make each child feel welcome, included, and seen. Moreover she wants to really understand and support each child's unique needs and brains. She is intentional in how she individually onboards children and makes sure they feel safe. Although the preschool is located at a church, it's not church-affiliated. They use the Brightwheel App and are always checking in with parents and sending pictures.

She really spends time and gets every child ready and prepared for Kinder. Just like his sister, he has never disliked going to school. Because all learning is done through play, he enjoys all the projects and schoolwork. Hes proud to show us everything he does. She still maintains an open door policy for all guardians. She has never made myself, husband or my in laws feel unwelcome for coming for a visit or attending one of the many holiday parties. Just like with his sister, she helped, encouraged and supported us through potty training. They never leave the little ones in soiled diapers or clothing. If parents forget to bring a change of clothing she always has spares on hand to help in a pinch. Ms Billda has still maintained an affordable status for parents looking for early education for their little ones. They even have a behavior chart for children (they use a rainbow system!) the director was amazing!! She was there all the time. Anytime I've seen any staff they were happy!
