We had last minute changes, including adding four tables to the back and changing the entire room from 7-top tables to 6-top tables. In about 10 minutes, the entire room had been rearranged! It was fantastic. The team was agreeable, always cheerful, always excited to help make the event fantastic. I would cheerfully return to this venue to do another event. He is the assistant golf pro at the Club. It was 90+ degrees and got really warm on the back nine. I do not use a glove but needed to use one later in the round. We enjoyed it. Tee times are spaced 10 minutes apart. We never felt rushed. We let a single play through on the 12th. All in about a four hour round. Cart gal was great on the front nine but we only saw her once on the back. There is a nice clubhouse and grill room. We had a fine breakfast before our round and then a beer afterwards. Did not use the locker room except to wash up it seemed very nice in there. A nice, small practice area. I will be back. Mark.

Everything here is of the finest quality: dining, club house, golf course, staff... One quirk of the KC Country Club. Short socks are banned from the course! So, don't show up in shorts and short socks that don't fully cover your ankles. You'll be required to purchase a $20 pair of long socks from the pro shop before they will let you on the course! This is really a great club! Tom Watson, local PGA Legend, is a member here and he has forced them to adapt to the 21st century. I credit Tom with driving the culture at the club to be more open and inviting to all people.

A country club should be an extension of the comforts of your own home. The "K Tripple C" sometimes seems like an extension of a detention center.

Milburn was a club with great tradition from 1917, Leawood South was built in the late 1960's and has a vibe that is more suburban cul-de-sac than grand old club. Some people dig that vibe, I don't.... The golf course is a mixed bag. The front 9 is quite boring and seems like it could be part of a muni course. The back 9, on the other hand, is quite fantastic and dramatic; lots of elevation changes and much more challenging. The clubhouse is 1960's suburban cul-de-sac... Very functional but not much architectural grandeur here. I have friends that have been members at Leawood South for many years and they love it. A club is really more about the people than the course/clubhouse and Leawood South has great employees and a close knit member community. So don't read this review that Leawood South is not a fun place to be a member. It just has an average golf course and average club house from an architectural perspective.

My family bought another home in missouri and signed up here, upon visiting our very first initial impression was good but as the day went on things went downhill. Our drink orders were wrong and when we asked if we could get the correct order our server seemed upset with us which made us feel awkward. I also noticed a staff member walking by wiping their hand on their apron like they had something stuck on their hands? Use a towel.... last thing to note is don't even try to call them asking anything, if you do get an answer...they usually claim to not even remember talking to you when you go in to follow up. If you are looking for a classy cc this is not the place. Consider driving and finding a better cc.
