Quality/Quantity - What a great find, and this review shows…read morethe positive power of Yelp. We discovered this local restaurant through Yelp, and so did the other 2 tables next to us. We found out at the end of our meal that one of the other tables was also from our hotel, a mile walk away. Overall, I think a simple menu done well. We got everything they recommended including the recommended beer from the table next to us. Plain Papadum & Chutney Tray - A must try! Suggestion, these two items should be together on your menu to avoid any confusion on pricing. The sauces also went well with our entree and naan. Tandoori Mix Grill - Good, perfect amount for both of us. As mentioned previously, we are light eaters, especially when traveling. This entree also came with a very light simple salad. Garlic Naan - I can eat this all day! This could even be my meal. After Dinner Chocolates - A nice unexpected touch. Atmosphere - Small local restaurant. Bathrooms need some TLC, but are functional. Indoor/outdoor dining; everyone ate indoors today. Open 7 days a week. Service - Good, had all 3 wait staff help us. This kind of confused us. They were good at upselling, but all 3 team members tried to upsell us. Not in a bad way, but it kept me laughing. I am a light eater, especially when traveling. They all made light small talk which was nice. It was obvious that everyone eating here was NOT local. They also have online promotions, see their website. Price - 28 pounds + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success, I am so glad that you can benefit from Yelp. See you on our next visit as we were so happy with our hotel we plan to stay there again.

A very popular place with lines that go outside the door simply because they are exceptionally good…read morevalue for money. The signature dish is the chicken biriyani that's £3.50 and deserves 4 stars as on most occasions it's really good. Overall though am giving the place two stars because the lady behind the counter seems permanently miserable have never seen her smile. If you order anything other than the biriyani it's served cold and you have to microwave it. Also ordering parathas and egg at breakfast time is quite the ordeal. On two occasions when the parathas have fallen on the floor they have taken them off the floor and served them until the customer rightly made a fuss. I had been told they make parathas and omelettes till 1pm, one time I arrived at 1145 and the miserable lady said too late, but they are served till 1pm, kitchen closed, but I can see them still making them at the back, she stared blankly. Another time I waited patiently in the queue, a Muslim man jumped the queue to order his Indian breads, she served all the Muslim looking customers and then when it came to my turn she served him and it turned out he had a large order, I asked her if my order would now be behind his large order as she served everyone else first and then let him jump in, once again she stared blankly as if to say take it or leave it. Never heard her apologize, please, thank you etc. So I'd say for members of the Muslim community especially this place is a 3 star establishment, for non Muslims it's a 2 star overall due to the difference in service.
