Midstate quoted me $500-1500 more than he charged my neighbors. One neighbor was charged $2000 for her driveway & front porch. Her driveway is the same length as mine. The other neighbor paid $3000 & his driveway is longer than mine. I was quoted $3650?! Obviously I disregarded Midstate's quote. My driveway was indented, cracked, & in complete disrepair. After George & his crew left, my driveway looks beautiful. George could not be any sweeter. He's a real people person & I can tell his kindness is sincere. He's such a nice guy. It didn't take them long to finish my driveway. George was nice enough to give me instructions on how to care for the new paving. They put up caution tape in front of the driveway. Had Fuller come out last year to repave my driveway and initial sales responsiveness was great,…read morehowever final product and fit/finish leaves more to be desired. Their insistence on 2% cross slope and not willing to add base material resulted in a portion of my driveway BELOW the surrounding yard. As you'd expect, every time it rains or snows, I get a pond almost 3in deep and up to 6ft wide. Additionally, where the driveway mates up to the garage the trim was damaged, and asphalt is starting to crumble away at the edges. I also believe they received a sub-part mix from their supplier, because after 12 months the driveway is still somewhat soft and gritty (floor jack made an imprint, which was never an issue at my prior homes). The worst part was that all these issues are items I noted to Fuller prior to them placing asphalt, and was told it would be alright. I therefore CANNOT recommend their service due to lack of concern for these legitimate issues, which I must now deal with going forward.
