I was long overdue for a regular women's check-up, but until my experience with Dr Ringhoffer's…read moreoffice, I abhorred going to OB/GYNs. A friend of mine got fed up with her regular OB/GYN and she switched to Dr Ringhoffer. She told me what a wonderful doctor she is and how she listened to her, made suggestions as to a few treatment options, and within a couple of weeks, resolved medical problems her other doctor let linger for several months. I decided to make an appointment to go see her, and luckily, my friend was right about her. I had a great experience too. First of all, the staff is very efficient. They got me scheduled within a week, and I only waited about 3-5 minutes in the lobby after completing my paperwork. Shortly after being put in a room, Dr Ringhoffer came in and discussed my medical history, left while I changed, then came back in and completed my exam. She was the most gentle doctor I can ever recall seeing. Afterward, one of the nurses drew blood for a thyroid check. Now I'm not ashamed to admit that I panic like a five year old when I see a needle, but that nurse was a magic woman with that needle and I hardly felt it at all. When it was all said and done, I was in and out of her office within an hour. Today, a week later, they received all of my lab results and called to tell me everything looks good. When I say I was overdue, it had been over 8 years. That's never a good idea to wait that long, I know. I was exasperated. I'd spent years going to OB/GYNs and telling them what was going on, only to be given prescriptions for birth control pills and be sent on my way. I eventually solved those issues on my own by doing research and taking specific vitamins, and I don't have all the side effects that go along with birth control pills. My friend's prior doctor had been doing her the same way, and had her on two different kinds of birth control at the same time, and it still wasn't solving her problems. As I mentioned, Dr Ringhoffer was able to resolve it quickly. If you're searching for a new doctor for any reason, whether you're new in town, or you're tired of pill-pushing doctors and doctors that won't listen to you, I highly recommend going to see Dr Ringhoffer. She broke the stereotype I had about OB/GYNs, and if she can change MY mind, that says a lot about the quality and professionalism of her and her staff. In fact, I think I'll start going to see her annually like I'm supposed to do. One last thing - there are several buildings in that complex and her building is next door to the Emergency Room.

This is a update of my last review Ive been going to see Dr Kennedy since 2019 wait times these…read moredays are a mute point with me some appointments were faster than others since the influx of more people moving in to the areas and not enough doctors it's happening everywhere. Starting in Jan 2024 I made an appt for my annual check up with Dr Kennedy's office for my hyperplasia but as the months past my appt kept being pushed to a future date I was told Dr Kennedy couldn't see me or I had to reschedule. I was starting to feel like I was getting the run around when I was told Dr Kennedy would only see pregnant women I didn't even know she saw pregnant women so this was a surprise those of non barring status would be seeing the NP it was Oct by then I didn't want to see a NP I wanted to see Dr Kennedy since she knew my history with my hyperplasia and I trusted her. Sadly I ended up cancelling my appointment and found another OBGYN doctor in Pensacola at the Women Center I'm still with Baptist and I love Baptist patient Portal. I later found out Dr Kennedy doesn't see pregnant women I don't know why I was told the opposite by her team but I have a new wonderful GYN doctor who's taking excellent care of me.
