He has since expanded his practice to a larger location with more staff (he even has a physician's assistant or nurse). As the previous reviewer said, he is very friendly and soft spoken. Dr. Wang even goes above and beyond to answer your concerns. A couple of years ago when I was traveling to India, his office didn't have the preventative travel medication I needed so he searched on his computer to help locate a pharmacy that can order medication so he could administer the injection for me @ his office. He even called the pharmacy right then and there to place order! I suspect his great bedside manners is why his waiting room is packed. I've waited over 2 hours to see him, and that is also due to the fact he doesn't take appointments. There is a sign in sheet, and it is first come first serve. He speaks very good English, Mandarin and a dialect that I can't pinpoint, maybe Wenzhou-nese. His staff aren't as friendly but aren't rude either, just straight to the point, no warm greetings but hey it is a Chinese doctor office so what do you expect? Another great thing is he has late office hours, I think he is opened until 8 or 9pm on most days. On Thursdays, he opens at 6pm so just a heads up. I'm holding back on 5 stars because there is room for improvement, so it's more like 4.5 stars.

After waiting for over a week for phone call with results that should have been back in 3 days and next steps and when I called was put on hold to only be told they have the results and asked when would I like to come in. When calling the office the answering machine they use is an absolute waste of time. I've been to the office for 3 appts now and each time there is at least 3 people by the front desk all just talking amongst themselves. Why is not one of them answering the phone calls of their patients? No problem if it's busy and it has to go to machine but I've yet to see that office busy. My last appt the doctors assistant must have taken off as he was handling things all himself. Again at least 3 employees sitting at front desk. After appt he was to send a prescription into my pharmacy and have another office contact me for my next steps. 2 days later I go to pharmacy to no prescription and wrote it off to him having no help that day. So I call and get a young man who asked me what type of the med I was to get. I told him I have no idea as to which one the doctor wanted me to use. He told me he would have the doctor call me back. A week later and nothing. So I call again and get the same young man who doesn't remember our call from a week prior. But now all of a sudden there is something prescribed in my chart and he again asks me if that's what I want. I again requested the doctor call me to verify. I get an arrogant voicemail the next day from the doctor telling me the prescription was called in the day of my last visit and proceeds to tell me what it is. His office is not telling him what's going on. They do nothing proactively it seams to be all reactionary. I still am waiting for the other office to call me. There machines message feels like it's over a minute long before starting options and you still don't get 0 for operator, of course that's not an option cause the front office don't want to do a damn thing. It's a shame cause it seams like it could be ran so much more efficiently and respectfully with a little more involvement from the senior people.

Took my mom for an annual check up, the doctor she normally see was not available so Dr. Maung was recommended. During the appt my mom expressed that she would like to see a food allergist and can she recommend a doctor. Dr. Maung recommended an allergist but decided to do the same blood test that the allergist would be doing. That inquiry, recommendation & unnecessary additional bloodwork became an extra charge because that question is outside the scope of an annual check up. Lastly she doesn't call patients to give results or concerns- being told to look at a portal when I do not understand what I am looking at regarding my mother's blood levels is pure laziness. I had to ask a nurse friend to review her results and there were plenty of concern's. I was under the impression an annual check up is to speak about any health concerns. If I can give this woman a NEGATIVE ZERO - I would! She should be a doctor.
