Yep - it really was that simple. Dr Cabaniss was very pleasant, had great bedside manner, was kind and informative. I didn't feel pushed or rushed into the procedure - he just said it would take him about 5 minutes per tooth and that if I wanted it done under local, he could actually fit me in right there and then. So I went for it. All hands on deck, I had 3 assistants who were very supportive, one was great at explaining things throughout the procedure. Dr C had a no BS approach, 'just get me out of here ASAP' I told him - and he did. I experienced slight discomfort when the numbing injections went in my palate - but who on earth doesn't? He even warned me "this is going to really sting and I'm sorry." Not his fault. The receptionist who welcomed me was absolutely amazing. Fantastic customer service and very forthcoming with explaining how my insurances would cover the procedure. She even contacted my dentist to make sure both dental insurances were on my file; I appreciate the extra steps she went through. Inside was clean, spacious and plenty of room both in the surgery rooms and the waiting area. Overall, a great experience. Somebody tell the tooth fairy I'm still waiting for my money. Thanks.

I was referred to Dr. Cabaniss by my dentist for consultation and extracting 24 teeth as I need…read morefull dentures. My dentist sent him the x-rays and after examining me, he explained that there was two ways to approach this. One take all 24 teeth out then get my immediate dentures, or take a two phase approach, take out the 12 back teeth, let the gums heal, then take out the remaining 12, then get my dentures. What this does is allow the gums to heal that have the biggest cavities and this will allow the dentures to fit better. The cost would be the same. After we discussed and I said maybe the phased approach may be better, he then said let me talk to your dentist, at which time he called her. They talked for a while and he said she agrees this would be the best approach. The front staff was very helpful and provided me with a cost breakdown including what my insurance would pay. I agreed and made the appointment. Because of health reasons he had to use Novocain and gave me 8 shots. He extracted 12 teeth and during the extraction asked several times if I was OK, his dental technician was also concerned and pleasant. After the extractions the dental technician thoroughly explained haw to care for the gums until they heal and form blood clots. Yes no one likes having tooth extraction, in my case required two stitches on two of the extractions but although he was rough a couple of times, that would be expected for larger teeth. He finished as fast as he could and after done he explained any problems, indicated call and he would see me as fast as he could. Although a very unpleasant experience having that many teeth extracted, I was confident in Dr Cabaniss's ability and he had great chair side manners and thoroughly explained everything. I go back in January for the remaining teeth to be extracted, and at least I know what to expect. BTW: I was surprised how little pain I experienced after these extractions, pain med's were prescribed which I only took for two days. I would highly recommend Dr. Cabaniss for your oral surgery.

I'll be honest I was a little nervous going in. But the day of the procedure went extremely smoothly. They were on time, well prepared, and professional from start to finish. It's clear that Dr. Kenney has been doing this kind of work for a long time. As far as tooth extractions go especially two side-by-side I don't think it could have been more painless or easier. I saw Dr. Leist this morning to have all 4 removed under IV anesthesia (I'm extremely allergic to nitrous so IV sedation was my only option.) I couldn't recommend him enough. He was personable, friendly and informative (as was his amazing staff) The only problem I had was that I metabolized the anesthesia very quickly and on several occasions became alert. I don't think this is a reflection on Dr. Leist's abilities at all, but more that I am just more efficient at processing medication. I was very numb though, so even though it was a little frightening at first to hear the noises, I wasn't in any pain. He also made sure I had medication to keep me comfortable at home while recovering. I couldn't recommend him higher. Thank you Dr. Leist! (I wasn't compensated in any way for this review)

I am not sure where the disconnect is but 1- they do not communicate well if you are a former customers. 2- they charge you for service upfront and you pay out of pocket for the service before they file with the insurance. That is my issue that state they have sent it over. I have checked my insruance account and the info is not there. I emailed last week asking for my documents electronically by the end of day and got nothing. I then called and left a message the following day. Asking they send it over. They haven't. I spent 4500 on 1 tooth to be repaired. Now I am in lost between the paper trail of where I get my reimbursement. I have tried not to place blame on them but this is ridiculous. I will not recommend their service as a former patient. Current patient teated extremely well, as a former who wanted to use them again. I will not and I will not recommend them. If you are looking for a bio-dental be prepared to pay up front and possible have insurance issues if you deal with them and be out of money. This has been on going since 28 Aug and it's now Dec 7.
