The price for that is sometimes inability to communicate well with the person for whom English is their 2nd language. These guys all speak very fluently, and chat with the clients as they work. What an amazing surprise! I'm traveling through from California and I found this amazing nail place. From the outside, it doesn't look fancy and, in fact, from the inside it isn't fancy but what it is is very, very clean. That's important to me. I was greeted right away by the owner, Tammy. It smelled really good inside and I immediately. Everything looked new from the floors to the pedicure chairs to the nail stations. I was told that they remodel every two years and it shows. I had a gel pedicure and an acrylic fill with gel polish. I'm pretty specific on what I like and everything I shared with Tammy she did exactly as I asked. This is a husband, wife and a relative that work here. It's perfect. Their English is perfect. I really got to know Tammy and her story as to what brought her to Moab. She's an amazing woman. Best pedicure ever. I travel during the winter months and my feet get pretty rough, since I had time to spend I thought I'd get a pedicure while in Moab. I called and booked an appointment, although while there I learned they will do their best to accommodate walk ins. This family run small business has perfected the ability to make you feel welcome. They are super friendly, complimentary and do not push sales. They initiate genuine conversations and are interested in your life. They took their time and did a great job on my toes and feet. Regular customers came in while I was there and seemed to make themselves at home. By the time I left, not only did I have fabulous looking toes, I felt like I had made new friends with the staff. The lady that did my nails was rushing my nails were longer than my friend getting her nails done at the same time and she was done with my nails before my friends nails were done and hers were a lot shorter we started at the same time. All the nails are different shapes, there's residue all over my cuticles some of the nails aren't level with my nail bed. I would not recommend going there, I won't be going there ever again. read more

I read the Yelp reviews prior to booking my appointment. There was an individual that gave this establishment a horrid review. I asked the owner about it. In business there are always going to be impossible patrons or the type that consume a meal and then refuse to pay, etc. I received an excellent manicure and pedicure from the owner. He didn't have the dip powder product that I usually get back in SC. He did however do a great job using the gel product. The salon has a great array of colors. He really gives a good foot massage as well. He shaped my nails perfectly and they were rather beat up from traveling several weeks. Kudos to Lee Nails!! After reading some of the reviews on another site (not Yelp) I was a bit leary about trying this place, however it had been 6 weeks since last getting my nails done (we're full time RVers) so I decided to try Lee Nails and was pleasantly surprised. The shop is owned by Husband & Wife Team and my "Fill" and Pedicure was done by the Husband who did an Excellent job. I am really sorry but this is the worst pedicure I've ever in my life received. The picture's worth a thousand words but let me elaborate. I asked that the nails not be too short and she cut them down to the quick. And they weren't even straight. As you can see from the photograph the polish was everywhere. I love this place. The folks here are extremely nice. My gel manicure has lasted almost a month and I'm still rocking my pedi too so I'm not sure what went wrong with other's nails chipping. I definitely didn't have that problem. I have been in twice now, once with family and they were kind and attentive to all of us. The only reason I give it 4 rather than 5 stars is the place is a little dated. Some of the massage chairs look like they are due for replacement. I came here with a couple of my girlfriends two days before my wedding. I was a bit hesitant, but thought how bad could it be? It was awful. They made two of the girls bleed from cutting to far down. When we were getting pedicures all of the nail technicians attempted to use the same shaver that had previous guests' skin in it. Overall it does not seem like they sanitize any of their equipment. The sponges were dirty. The cuticle trimmers also were full of previous clients skin. The nail jobs were all poorly performed. Polish was not even covering the full nail on a couple. The way they shaped the nails was also jagged. To top it all off we all received gel pedicures. All my previous experiences with gel have been great. They should hold up for at leas two weeks. All of ours was chipped within 24 hours. I was able to peel off all of the polish on my hands within a couple of minutes. I have heard there is a salon in town that offers nail services. I would definitely go anywhere else before going back to Lee nails. read more

This place was terrible and extremely unsanitary. They use a razor to scrap the skin of the bottom of my friends feet and then without sanitizing it used the same razor on my feet qithskin shavings flying everywhere! Then after moving me to another pedicure station a new customer came in and she put the new customer in the station I was just at without sanitizing it! Did not see any sanitizing the entire time we were there! read more

I was in town for Easter week and a longtime local recommended Lees. All the staff were friendly, calm and warm. We did have to wait about 20 min when we had an appt but they were super sweet, treated my 11 and 8 year old girls like adults and gave us a discount for hand painted flowers for the wait. I decided to relax a day and my heels were looking dry and feet looked like they needed some TLC. My husband found this place on line in Moab so off we went. It is not easy to find for its on the side corner of the shopping area. The staff was very friendly, great eye contact, and next thing my husband ended getting a relaxing feet wash too, (his very first one)? I smiled ear to ear as they made us feel at home. I did not hear the foriegn chitter chatter that normally occurs at places like this.... they spoke english most of the time?!? (unheard of). The price stayed the same about 25.00 no matter if they worked on your feet or did extra stuff for you - unheard of in california.... always seems to go up 5.00 each time extras are done. My husband was very surprised at how great his feet felt with the massage chair as well. It was fun to add this to our vacation venture. this place is so lovely. the ladies work so hard and i was completely satisfied with my experience. i have never been to moab before, and am in town for a self retreat and wanted to get a pedicure. i called them the day of and they fit me in within a couple hours of calling. they were warm, asked me my name and called me by name for the rest of the pedicure. she was patient and very kind with me. she gave a great massage and asked before each part of the pedicure what i would prefer. highly recommend if you need some self care in moab! read more

I REGRET VISITING LEES NAILS. WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE IN 35 YEARS!!! The male nail technician in the shop screamed "your a F**king B**ch" over and over at me in front of all his other patrons, and locked the shop door, after I simply ask him to make all my acrylic nails the same shape (8 were fine, 2 were misshaped). I became extremely fearful and disturbed by his outrage and wanted to defuse the situation so I offered to pay for the completed pedicure and was willing to walk out of the shop with an incomplete acrylic manicure. He locked the door and insisted I had to pay for both even though he was unable to complete a basic function of nail service. Since he insisted on payment, I offered an alternate solution and I asked the female manicurist to finish my nails and she declined to acknowledge me. In my opinion she looked fearful of the situation, too! I had to call Moab Police to help me with this totally unprofessional dispute. Moab is a small town and I am not from Moab so I feel the scales of justice were unbalanced. The Police Officer said it was legal in Moab to hold me behind a locked door and I had to pay for the grossly inferior service even though I left with incomplete bare uneven nails. Un-freaking-believable!!! I have pictures of my fingers as proof of the incompetent nail job. The incident should be in the police logs for 7/21/2017, 3pm. read more

I recieved the best pedicure I have had in along time from Isabelle. What nice people and they weren't trying to rush you in and out.
